The location, decor and ambiance are great! However, the customer service and food presentation could be better. The cod had a bone that stabbed my gum so bad that it hurt for the remainder of the day. Unfortunately, the server did not seem too concerned and brushed it off. I will give this place another try as they have a beautiful location by the river and a renowned chef.

I attempted to make a reservation for a very prominent well known Hollywood actor that is in town filming. The restaurant was so concerned with who it was and not making the necessary accommodations. Of course I can’t throw names because of there profile. But I’m glad that the Optimism Atlanta found space and accommodation for our special guest. We had a great time, do visit if you in Atl, the Optimist that is not this place.
