“My wife and I went to the Smokin pig today for Anniversary lunch, we both had the reg portion of ST Lewis ribs, she also had collard greens and mac & cheese, and I had baked beans and Cole slaw we both had Pepsi the food was good as usual and our waitress Britney D was great she checked on us a couple of time she was very attentive when we gave our order, she talked with us and made us feel like family, I use an electric scooter and was seated where we ask to be so my scooter wouldn't be in the way, we have been going to the Smokin pig for the last 5 yrs, we will be moving south but we have family here and will be visiting and stop at the Smokin pig.”

Atmosphere: 6 PM. Nothing special. People begin to come in. No wave. Maybe Saturday night starts slower than Friday happy hour!
Service: Our server was tentative as most restaurant servers. Nothing extra.
Food: Caesar salad was a disappointment. Romain lettuce was definitely plentiful. A few stale homemade croutons (not eatable), very minimal parmesan cheese, and dressing.
The highlight; the Berta’s pizza with added pepperoni was a hit. Recommended for both vegans or meatans, if you want to pay a higher price for pizza. Beverages at restaurants are always expensive. Probably will not return unless it happens to be a live music nite. Drinks and appetizers only.”

“The bag of snow crab legs, crawfish, corn and taters were the MOST FLAVORFUL I've had in my entire life.. the garlic butter was like 10 cherries on top. The lemon pepper wings were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The fried shrimp were great as well as the fried okra and fries! I certainly recommend this restaurant! IMO the bag of seafood is the best buy for price, quantity and flavor= top notch quality! Also, the customer service was 2nd to none! **They also give you plenty of ranch for your wings and ketchup for the fries at no extra charge for those 2 condiments.** MUST TRY and I will be back!”

“We enjoyed Valentine’s Day dinner here. The blooming onion appetizer was served hot but was too greasy for my taste. The eight-ounce sirloins were delicious. The buns of my burger looked a little smooshed as they do in all the pictures here. But that didn't cause any issues. The toppings, especially the onions were cut big and fresh. Probably the best burger I've ever eaten in my car! Shake and Fries were also quite good. I didn't rate atmosphere because I didn't go inside.”

When we informed the staff we were told we would receive a free replacement for his meal, his meal taken off of the receipt, and a discount ($5 off the whole ticket) His replacement never arrived even after being reassured 5 times by not only the staff but the Manager's wife. When it was brought to her attention, again, 2hours later she said she would speak with her husband via phone. Never came back. Never got a refund. Never got a replacement. Never got an actual apology. And will never be going back to this establishment.”

“You can tell the 1 star reviews are from people who think Chinese food is orange chicken from panda exp vs those who actually know what authentic Chinese food actually tastes like. I can’t blame the reviews here though. When “culture” comes in the form of lipton black tea equivalent boba trucks and candied syrupy meats at the mall, you won’t know what authentic is down here when it happens. Don’t go to Ming’s for Americanized Chinese, you go here for Mandarin hot chicken/beef with a side of fried rice or noodles. Valdosta doesn't have much authentic stuff, but when it does it’s most likely the world traveled folk or Military that’ll actually acknowledge it.”

“05/29/2024 Flip Flop Smoothie Day. I just want to say the Cashier around 3pm (sadly did not get her name; she was wearing a lei), was just so very kind. I brought my children into the store with their flip flops for their smoothies while I myself was not in flip flops, yet the sweet Cashier looked at me and said, “Mom gets one, too.” I felt really seen and appreciative for that moment. Thank you.”

“What can I say, I love it here. This was my first time coming here. Right off the back, the staff was nice and welcoming and the place was very clean. We ordered 3 small strawberry shakes and a ordrrof jalapeño bites. The staff jumped right on the order and we was walking out within 10 minutes. I love it. 5 stars!!”
