“Gorgeous views, great service, and tasty food. This is owned by the same people that own the Lanai at Mamala Bay on Hickman, with an almost identical menu. We went on a day with cold rainy weather and practically had the place to ourselves but was told on nice days it's pretty busy and reservations are recommended. We'll definitely be back!“
“We have tried many CPK branches and have never been disappointed at any of them. Nice ambiance, able to have good conversations amongst friends and they don't try to rush you out. Service is outstanding! They continue to offer us water and drinks. I really appreciate their attentiveness. And the food! Simply awesome. My favorites, the avocado rolls are a must have! I love their chicken piccata! And don't get me started on the butter cake! Yummers!“
“I read quite a few reviews of eateries in Chinatown pushing a narrative that this is a scary or unsafe area, please don't let this deter you. Chinatown has some of the best restaurants on the island and Fete is one of them. Everything Ive had at Fete has been extremely fresh and made to perfection. I can't say enough good things about the chef and the friendly attentive staff. Do yourself a favor and make the reservation now, you'll thank me later!Vegetarian options: I had the risotto and fete salad both were incredibly fresh and delicious!“
“If you are a fan of this type of dining (Omakase),this was easily the best restaurant experience we have had in Hawaii... and tops of all time. Service was excellent - Justin and the entire team made every course of the 5 special. The food was paired with a different cocktail for each course and it was perfect. Each course was a culinary adventure. Even though it's an intimate environment and you are close to the kitchen, the team works quietly and so seamlessly it's like a work of art. The entire production was flawless. While expensive, it was easily one of best experiencee we have ever had which made it a great value. Completely and highly recommended.“
“The line was too long... Still, when you want to eat fish in Waikiki, there's no place like this, and as the reviews say, the fried calamari is really delicious!! I ordered tuna Cajun style, but it was a bit dry, probably because it was well-done. It's not cheap, but it was a very satisfying meal due to the large portion. I recommend coming here at least once!“
“A must-visit famous restaurant that ranks as the latest in Hawaiian gourmet food. Each dish is infused with ingenuity and a variety of tastes, and I hear that its reputation has only increased since it opened in 2016.If you remember the names of chefs Anthony Rush and Chris Kajioka, something good will come of it.It is located in downtown, about 25 minutes from Waikiki, taking into account traffic congestion. As a leading Hawaiian gourmet restaurant on Oahu that continues to evolve over the years, this is a restaurant that you should definitely make a reservation for when you come to Oahu.“
“We've been coming here for years. It's our go-to spot! Today was DA BEST service we've had here so far. Marley A., gave excellent an experience. It was busy, and she never skipped a beat with timing and her attentiveness. She was superb ? ?Thank you, Marley, for an awesome visit to our favorite spot on the island!!“
“Last night’s dinner at Merriman’s was absolutely superb - oysters, lobster pot pie, their signature Mai Tai (best I’ve ever tasted) - then a coffee martini w chocolate purse dessert - I can’t rave enough - live music & excellent service - shout out to John. Thanks to all ~“
“The entire meal was BOMBBB the rice was the perfect texture, corn was… well you can’t really go wrong with corn lol, even the extra salad was good but the beef was the star of the meal. It was super tasty and the texture was to dieee for. Would’ve got another one but they’re closed for the night.“
“Our group of 4 from Big Islandreally enjoyed this local food place ..breakfast was speedy and delicious and very fair prices..3 of included lup cheong rice with our orders .. for me, the smaller side order with an egg was ample food..nice friendly staff and decent clean bathrooms. We would return again if we were ever in the area ..good Aloha in this establishmentParking: Parking out front but only 10 spaces maybe more options elsewhere??“
“We had an absolutely amazing experience! I ordered the vegan 4 course and my friend had the Chef's 10 course. First of all, it's difficult to find a vegan course menu from a fine dinning restaurant, the taste was outstanding! From the, beet salad, curried chow fun noodles, chickpea Madras over rice and finally the mango tapioca..every dish was perfection! My friend enjoyed every dish as well she said everything was absolutely delightful. She especially had high praises for the Samoan crab shumai, duck confit katsu bao, squid luau agnolotti and the condensed, flavorful, out of this world 90 day dry age beef. The strawberry panna cotta was to die for! First unsure if she could finish a 10 course meal but she finished everything happily! We had the most delightful first class dinner, thank you PAI Honolulu. You are one of the BEST Restaurant in town!“
“Delicious and thoughtful tasting menu with wine pairing. Fresh and flavorful ingredients with friendly and professional service. I am a big man (6'5", 240 lbs.) and I suggested I might still be hungry after the tasting menu, so our server gave us sliders on the house, which filled me right up and were delicious. We highly recommend... Mahalo, MW! :)“
“They excel at everything. They make the best burger I have ever had in my life and make it with precision every time I get it. I don't think they make an item that I don't love. Friends all agree. It's where we go for celebrations. I love their coffee.Vegetarian options: They make all food excellent. However they really do their best with meat and fish.Wheelchair accessibility: They were able to accommodate my wheelchair. It's tight but folks help when asked.“
“Delightful dinner at Kala Hale! Every dish and every different item on each dish had distinct and complementary flavors and textures. Ahi special was excellent; holu lei salad crisp and tasty; desserts just right. Don’t miss the vanilla ice cream — often overlooked on menus but not here. And goes well with banana pudding. Friendly service, staff gave helpful information and smiles all around.“
“We went early to enjoy happy hour prior to dinner. We had a delightful cocktail and Poke snack at the bar. The cocktails were well crafted and tasty and the Poke was exceptional. We seated for dinner and had a shared meal. We had a fois gras mouse appetizer that was truly exceptional. We ordered the evenings special of a Tonkatsued pork chop and a couple of sides. The pork was well fried but a bit under seasoned. It came with a small side of pineapple mustard the helped the flavor and made the dish much more than just acceptable. Service was prompt and warm. All in all a very enjoyable ecvening“
“Yes, yes and yes…. Should I eat here, are the people friendly, and is the food delicious are the questions. The ube marscapone French toast is crazy good. Should have found this place sooner to try the rest of the menu. Super friendly staff always made sure the coffee was full.“
“Off the beaten trail of Waikiki Beach, found parking and got a table easily. Our hostess and servers were so friendly to us and our baby. Pancakes were incredible. Recommend the fried riceKid-friendliness: They made turtle shaped pancakes with our baby girl's name written in chocolate sauce!“
“We had the fish and chips and the brisket. The brisket was absolutely amazing. The flavors were complex in the meat was very tender. The fish and chips were delicious. There was nothing left on our plate afterwards. We enjoyed the pineapple tea and that was very refreshing as well. We finished it off with a delicious, soft peanut butter cookie. This may look like a cafeteria, but this food is high-end restaurant quality.“
“Always a creative menu accompanied by attentive service. We sat outside on what turned out to be a windy Friday night. More annoying was the Mariachi band playing loudly at the taco place across the street (drowned out the pleasant music at Merriman's). We'll eat inside next time. My wife's Makai special (Kauai lobster) was superb. My peppercorn steak frite was almost impossible to cut. Sharper knives are needed! Be sure to have the anchovies with the Ceasar salad--a great experience.“
“This place proves what I have felt for years, you don't need to have fancy pants bougie atmosphere, lighting, and presentation to do something exceptional. The food is absolutely worth your money in taste, quantity, and quality. The staff are friendly, helpful, and quick.Do yourself a favor, and come to Guide cafe“
“Closed out our vacation with a great chef's menu dinner at The Beach house. We arrived a few minutes early from our reservation and they sat us right away in the best table on the patio. Our wait staff was great, and the views were spectacular. Food was even better than expected and bigger portions than most Chef's Menus I've had in the past.“
“The food was off the hook, good amout for the price. Only reason i didn't give a 5 cause Customer service was bad. Even if your having a bad day, or getting slammed with orders. Atleast great the Customer with aloha or welcome. On the phone rolling his eyes, like i was interupting him. Food can be great, but Customer service can ruin the taste. Also, if ordering on the app it does ask for different amounts of tipping. I'm glad i chose the smallest. If you don't pick, it don't get the online discount....hmmm?“
“Went to try their Easter special lamb chops and was not disappointed! Absolutely knocked it out of park! Perhaps best lamb chops I have ever had. Sauce was rich and amazing, chops tender and cooked to perfection. Hopefully they will have more often than Easter! Service was wonderful as well. We sat outside but could still enjoy the live music.Parking: Parking was free with validationHyatt Centric garage“
“Chicken nachos are so good!!!! It's delicious. Be sure to order it. The spicy jambalaya pasta is also delicious. You can choose between rice and pasta, but I chose the linguini pasta. There is usually quite a wait on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, so you have to give your local cell phone number to the staff at the door and wait. This is a place you must come to at least once. You can see Korean newlyweds drinking beer from huge beer glasses everywhere.“
“Great experience! The food was great and they had several options for the kiddos if your kids are picky. Drinks were fantastic and our server, Kendall, was really good. She had great recommendations from the menu and was really attentive, despite have 2 other large tables, aside from ours.“
“At 8 in the morning, I was looking for a place to eat and went into a cafe. Waikiki Resort Hotel guests also receive a 50% discount. The quantity is plentiful and decent. The famous cold ramen is not on the menu, but can be ordered. Next time, I have to eat cold ramen.“
“Hidden gem in between Wahiawa and Mililani. You won't be able to see it from the main road right off the freeway. If you're able to find it, you'll be glad you did!!We went for dinner during the middle of the week, food was delicious and service was great!! Our server Chaden constantly checked up on us. The atmosphere is up beat as everyone in their seems to be enjoying their time with live music and conversations during dinner.Definitely will be back, maybe to try out their weekend breakfast.“
“We got a reservation here. It's inside the outrigger. They have a nice courtyard area which gets pretty busy. I had a Mai Tai and the Hulu Chicken. It wasn't the best huli chicken that I have had for sure. Not a bad place though.“
“Had the breakfast bento with bacon and fried rice. The bacon was thick AND crispy.. didn’t think that was possible! The guy behind the counter appeared to be by himself but he was super efficient and cheerful. It’s within walking distance to the Courts, so perfect for breakfast or lunch “
“The best fish and chips I've ever had! My women's softball team stayed in the cabins and ate here for dinner. They accommodated our huge party in such a short notice. We had a few young waiters that hustled to take our order and bring our food out in a timely manner. Unfortunately, one of our teammates did not receive her food. The Manager was called over to our table, and he was very quick to make things right. We loved the customer service, and apologize for some people in our party was not happy. Majority of us, loved it and was entertained with LIVE music by a great local band. Great job, we'll be back!“
“I have been to many fine dining restaurants in Europe and the US and the New Years dinner I had with my husband at AV was absolutely our favorite! I understand the critical points in the other reviews, the seating options could definitely be optimized a bit to allow more privacy, yet, there is really nothing critical i could say about the staff. They were very attentive and made our dinner possible even though there was a mistake with our reservation. The food was an absolute highlight, every dish was full of flavor and delicious. Also the surprise dish is a very creative and much appreciated idea. From all the dining out experiences I had in Hawaii, this is the one that left a lasting impression.“
“Enjoyed our last breakfast in Waikiki at Surf Lanai Restaurant located at The Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki. We were seated and served immediately. Pretty beachside set up- large pink umbrellas provided nice table coverage from the morning sun, making the dining experience comfortable. Great food -We ordered the Pink Pancakes, Short Ribs Eggs Benedict, Fruit Platter- good for sharing Great drinks - we had freshly squeezed OJ, really good cappuccino , and Pink Coladas (yes for breakfast!) Excellent service- Janice was our host , very friendly, attentive, thoughtful and a master at making cappuccinos Friendly Manager-Keenan was the manager on duty, He was saying hello to all the guests, was very welcoming to us and made sure we had everything we needed. Fun fact: He is true Hawaiian- born and raised on the island.which we thought was pretty cool!) Nice Ambience - very chill beachside vibe Great Value: Royal Hawaiian is a luxury hotel, but the price seemed reasonable for a lovely beachfront breakfast in Waikiki. Aloha and Mahalo Hawaii!“
“Service could not have been nicer from the valet, hostess, servers, and managers. The tasting menu was great. The larger main courses were just enough to leave full. Nice mix of fish, venison, pasta, and vegetables. Highly recommend the patio seating for Friday night fireworks.“
“I don't want to give away our secret, but COEC is putting Wahiawa on the map for nostalgic and enjoyable evenings in the COUNTRY! Don't have to go past the bridge for local grinds and entertainment. We had the poke tosadas, apple crisps, Loco moco, pupus and drinks! Watercress salad took me back to my mom's house. Visit them soon!“
“We have been to the Mariposa may times since they opened and have consistently had wonderful service, a beautiful ambience and amazing food. I take friends, relatives, students, and visitors there. The food is excellent infusing local flavors and ingridients. The service is perfect. This past visit we were fortunate to have the exceptional service of Joseph. He was great in explaining the menu and daily specials. We appreciated his knowledge, patience, and checking in on us throughout the meal. He had a warm and welcoming personality. The service is always top notch and Joseph went that extra mile. Thank you all!“
“Jeremy is still going strong with his lunch wagon. But you people really need to get out of my way because I dislike waiting in that long line (J/K). Scoopers had to raise their prices for all plates by one dollar (come on people, you can afford to pay another measly buck) due to rising costs but it is still incredibly affordable, and the quality hasn't dipped at all. Unpretentious old school plate lunches hit the spot. Always.“
“A pleasant downtown surprise! Situated in a tastefully restored historic building, this sandwich shop gets packed but moves very quickly. Coworkers love the meatballs on Tuesday & Thursday. Other solid options include the Reuben panini and chicken/gorgonzola on focaccia. Good for a quick meal or to catch your breath.“
“This place is great if you appreciate vegan food. It's all vegan and has tons of options. I'm usually suspicious of such diverse menus but enjoyed everything I had. I even got a second meal to take home, I loved it so much!Vegetarian options: The whole menu is vegan.Dietary restrictions: The whole menu is vegan.“
“Another delicious lunch at The Pearl! If you get a chance to dine at The Pearl I highly recommend going! These young chefs out do themselves every time! For $35 you get a 7 course prix fixe menu including coffee, tea or soft drinks. The portion size IMO is perfect and the presentation is appealing and everything was flavorful and delicious! We had to leave before dessert was served so they were kind enough to pack it to go.“
“The food was so good! I'm sad they are only open twice a week but I hear it's apart of a culinary program or something (per what I read on yelp). They also sell a little bit of fruits and stuff too. There is no seating area to my knowledge, it's all carry-out. And it's kind of on a side street so don't drive by too fast or you will miss it. I was able to get my food fast as well! I got the curry chicken which was good and the mushroom leek risotto, which was "Broke Da Mouf Ono!" The staff was polite as well. Most of all it's affordable! Glad I found this little gem. I've already been back 2 more times!“
“Great little Irish pub. Don't let first impressions fool you.Great beer selection. The pizza is amazing! Super service! My only complaint is the paper plates. Come on, a pub should have proper plates to eat on!The music was fantastic as well. Had a live act that came on later. He was okay, but the music when we came in was from my generation!“
“Our experience at Guibe CafeBehind Cutter Ford in Aiea. It's a small restaurant. They're open for breakfast and lunch. They have good quality food prices are moderate $$$I had the best Loco Moco with Wagyu beef burger and crab cake, fried rice and Gravy. What stands out about this Loco Moco is the gravy and the fried rice. It was delicious. My wife had the strawberry salad, it has delicious strawberry vinaigrette dressing and pecans. And her friend Peter had a aji salad it was huge. The portions are large and it is worth the money ?The restaurant is small so you may find yourself waiting in line outside. You can also do takeout orders too. They are getting a great reputation a lot of people know about this place. Hopefully they can find a larger location because the people will find it.You can go online and find Guibe Cafe. And check out their menu. We definitely will be back. Mahalo hugs Wes n Wanda Anzai - Mililani Hawaii.4-2024Vegetarian options: They have about four or five salads which are delicious and they're very large so you're going to get a lot of food ?Wheelchair accessibility: For regular size wheelchair it's pretty tight inside the restaurant. But they will try to accommodate you. You might have to wait.“
