“The service excellent. We ordered a family meal & what a great deal it is! Highly recommended for those nights you don't feel like cooking dinner! Food was ready when they said it would be & I was in & out heading to go home & feeding the kids!“
“this place is awesome, i love their char siu fried rice, so so ono. tonight i tried something new, and didnt like it. not only did they try to remake it, but they offered me a full refund in the nicest way. the aloha this restaurant has is TREMENDOUS !!!!!!! 10/10 would recommend you eat here :) thank you guys again for the beautiful customer service“
“They have a great variety of flavors for savory and sweet manapua! I tried them fried and my top favorites were: spinach mozzarella, honey garlic chicken, sweet potato, and Oreo. The owner is so friendly and we would love to come back again to try other items there!“
“A very nice surprise when my daughter took me here today. The hot sour soup was excellent and the only thing I didn't like was that the noodles were super slippery and hard to grasp with the chopsticks. But the flavors were spot on and the fried calamari appetizer was Ono. No sauce needed for the calamari. The pancake (soufflé) strawberry dessert was also delish and don't forget the ice cream with the dessert. My daughter forgot to order the vanilla scoop for $2. This place is a must try if you're in Pearlridge.“
“Good baked manapua but different as there is onion or cabbage in the meat. I couldn't tell what it was though. The bread was very soft and delicious. The meat had a sweet moist flavor. Big pork hash and noodles were ok. Good service from the owner. I will return again“
“I've been trying to come here for months since seeing they were voted the #1 Roast Duck Shop on O'ahu. They didn't disappoint! Their roast duck was succulent, juicy, and perfectly flavored. I also got the roast pork ends and it was good but I'm going to try it again when it's nice and hot - I know it will be great. The char siu was awesome. It was moist and flavorful, not hard nor dry. Looking forward to it all again.“
“Do you want local grinds that's ono plus generous portions to boot? The bonus is your wallet will smile when you have to pay. The hamburger steak (hand made), garlic chicken and garlic pork chops will make you a believer. Street parking only so best to call in your order and it's made to order. Just a suggestion, order the regular instead of the mini. Toss salad is available and no rice option if so desired. Even the take out container will amaze you. Enjoy!“
“This place is a must try if you haven't been here. It's very simple. Grab a basket and fill it with whatever you want from many different choices of meat, seafood, and vegetables. But be careful, the price is based on weight. Take your basket to the counter and choose your noodles and soup base. The choice of soup base is great. I personally enjoy the lemon grass soup the most. They also serve non-soup items. To top off your experience, you get a free shaved ice dessert. Yes, I said free dessert! I frequent BYOD and will be as long as they are still around.“
“Stopped by here after seeing many of my Yelp friends checking in since I was in the area. Had a bit of trouble finding this place & had to ask a kind woman waiting outside of Safeway. It is located closer to Subway. I had many errands to run so only purchased roast pork today. I was sad that there was only a small piece of pork hanging in the window after the gentleman in front of me bought most of it. Not to fret, the counter person disappeared to bring out more. I wanted to make a knock off lechon kawali for an easy dinner as I had some very juicy vine ripened tomatoes and sweet onions. I generally do not eat roast pork because it is very fatty, but saw the pieces were very meaty. Dinner came out great served with some French Onion Soup. Cringe worthy, but I enjoyed my pieces of defatted pork with some balsamic vinegar since I didn't have any of the traditional Filipino vinegar. Btw, Po Sing does not sell any manapua or steamed buns. Although there was only a rubber duck hanging, the gentleman said he did have roast duck in the back. Only one customer is allowed in the restaurant at a time & there is no dining area...strictly take out. Lots of parking available in the Mililani Shopping Center parking lot.“
“This is a local family run type place. Order at counter to eat in or take out. Lady taking orders was efficient, not super friendly. All food is served in Togo containers. There is one person taking orders and packing items which may be an issue for cross contamination. We order spring rolls, shrimp fried rice and Singapore noodles for $37. Portions were huge and incredibly affordable. We all enjoyed the yummy food. I have had better however the price was higher and portions were smaller. Solid lunch/dinner option.Would like to add a lady was cooking up wontons and noods that looked really good. If there wasn't a line I would have ordered then too.“
“Everything is delicious! Not only delicious, but affordable. May this small little gem of a restaurant always prosper may the hands that prepare these delicious meals have many more years of service to come. I'm not one to take time out to write reviews, but Garden Island Cafe deserves it. Thank you.“
“This place is amazing if your avid ramen lover. The food here is great especially their broth. The service there was great and the lady that served us was very kind. Also the place itself was very clean and pleasant. Would definitely go back with more people.“
“No frills, take out Chinese/local food located up in Palisades in a tiny shopping mall/gas station. Always come here when visiting friends closeby. Reasonably priced and you get your moneys worth. Havent had a bad dish here yet. The chicken katsu curry here is winnahs?“
“Love this place. Food is always good and portions are great. They always answer the phone when I make a phone order. Their crispy gau gee is one of the best. Big and meaty! Also, you save a little money if you pay with cash instead of credit card. Go try um out!“
“Great place! Just go there. Don't think about it. Just go. Enjoy some hot pot in a very down to earth chill place. No rush. Take your time and enjoy AYCE! I've been there 3 to 4 times. I will visit them again before I leave the island.“
“I am so sad to read that this business has closed; we were going to stop by today. The price of the food was reasonable for the amount that they give you -- which is A LOT and the food tasted wonderful. Customer service was also great! Hope they open up again one day.“
“My family and I eat here AT LEAST once very 3 weeks to a month. Food is awesome; staff is friendly/ owner is the BEST; service is great!!! This is also the place I take my relatives, friends and co-workers… not to mention, my potluck dish go-to place!! Love it there and call me a “regular” at Kunia Chinese “
“Hope they open again soon. Loved the egg plant dish! When Google maps said they were closed I tried driving there just in case it was wrong. This was the first time I tried to go since before the pandemic so not sure if they closed after that or from the construction (the Rd I usually take to get there was closed but was able to go around). Sadly they were closed but sooo hoping you guys open back up soon.“
“SUMMARY (Too Long, Didn't Read) - Solid manapuas, quality is always top notch. Like many people have stated, parking is tough to find at this specific location. The parking is so bad I was going to rate this place a 3/5, however the staff makes up for the lack of parking! PRO TIPS - 1) Bring a friend to hop out and order because parking is so difficult! 2) Call in your order so you don't have to park 3) FOOD - Steamed and baked char siu - SOLID everytime! One of the best on the island. Can't go wrong with these classics. Pizza - These were a bit underwheling, pizza stuffings includes stringy mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and made-from-scratch tomato sauce which is okay but I would've preferred more cheese! Spicy pork - Their pork is marinated in a fiery Szechuan sauce and chilis so I would warn you these do get spicy! I still liked the original char siu better! ATMOSPHERE - Not sure if there is any inside seating Looked like a factory in the back while the front facing counter had 2 registers to account for the patron line PARKING - WORST PART ABOUT THIS LOCATION. Extreeeeemely limited SERVICE - Good, the line moved quickly. No complaints here. They were very accommodating PRICE - $, $2.50 for a BIG MANAPUA?! Can't go wrong with that! It only costed $5 to fill me up!!“
“An auntie neighbor took us here, she's known the owners for decades and we went out of our way that day to order a fried rice dish here (took them 10 min to make it fresh maybe less). Their fried rice is soon legit. Perfectly salty, full of shrimp, eggs, peas, etc. And best of all, not greasy at all! This was similar to home cooked fried rice which is soo different from restaurant greasy. I'm from SF area and grew up going to Chinatown. Fried rice is a staple but a lot of to go places will make it overly greasy, poor quality rice and hardly any mix in ingredients. It's a dish that will tell you if the place is legit. This place has fantastic! Can't wait to try more. Also the owners are so sweet! Really great hardworking family. We can't wait to go again.“
“Had a nice atmosphere and ran into a friend who happened to be the pool table holder upon my friend and I arriving. And we were fortunate to be able to play numerous racks even though there were over 2 dozen people enjoying the reggae music and socializing with eachother. And since playing pool was the mission. We nailed the mission in short order!“
“Taste of Hong Kong has excellent egg rolls, tender beef dishes, etc… The food is absolutely delicious with fresh ingredients. The portions are very large and well priced. The serving staff are friendly and informative of the large variety of dishes on the menu. The restaurant is popular among the locals. The restaurant has plenty of space for large groups and families.“
