“This is the best place for pho & banh mi on the west side 100%. The pho broth is so rich & flavorful, banh mi baguette is perfectly crispy, yet soft with amazing fillings of bbq flavors & crispy veggies. They also give you a side of broth, which is a nice touch. I’ve tried so many Vietnamese spots on the west side, and this place is hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant. Truly a hidden gem.“
“My wife suggested we get a cool drink for our drive home. Being in the Ewa area, we decided to have a Pina Colada, which was on the Jamba Juce specials menu.. Cool and refreshing, but my favorite Is their Orange Dream Machine. flavor. The service was fast and friendly. Located near Foodland in the Ewa Town Center Enjoy“
“I absolutely love this place! 20/10 shave ice and friendly! I try to stop by as often as I can when I’m on that side. I also love taking my clients here! My favorite shave ice on island! ? (Blue vanilla + coconut = an unbeatable flavor combo in my opinion)“
“Amazing food. Fish is so fresh. The bowls are dynamic and flavorful. After moving to Oahu, I became obsessed with poke and would go out of my way to eat it from different places. I found Aloha Cones one random day as I was looking for the nearest place. Since then I have not found a poke spot that I like more, and I did indeed keep looking. If you ask me, this is the best poke on the island. Two years and counting, Aloha Cones is still at the top of my list.“
“Refreshing sugar cane juice in Aiea, Oahu, Hawaii...Sugah Daddeh's Kane Juice used to be by the Starbucks by Anna Miller's. I saw the shop, but didn't have time. I told myself that I would return... especially because so many of my friends wrote reviews (Donna, Irene, Angel, Deborah, Gabriel, Rissa, Janice, Reuben, Tanyce, and Kyra).Today, I saw the new location at "Downtown Pearlridge". If you go to the mall, it's above Longs Drugs Store (that's where I usually park because it's covered). Go up the escalator, and the kiosk is by Guava Smoked, Hot Topic, and Aloha Salads. Looking at the menu, the Mason Jar is the best deal because you can get $2 off when you bring the jar back for a refill! I decided to get the Mean Buggah with blueberries, strawberries, pineapple, and calamansi juice. It was really cool to watch the gal chop up the fruits (to fit the boba straw) right there!Mmm! The juice was NOT too sweet, but just right - and it felt healthy - especially after reading about the benefits of sugar cane juice!I'm looking forward to returning and trying the other flavors! Note: açai bowls, Gelato, and sorbet are also available!“
“New location inside Pearlridge by the food court near GNC and Genki. Same great items as their location in Kalihi. I absolutely love their desserts but I crave their soft serve. The vanilla with sprinkles reminds me of getting ice cream from the ice cream trucks as a kid! So happy they have a location close to home!!!“
“I missed out on the YES event here, but I thought I'd give them a try. I DID NOT regret it. The staff was awesome, and the food was as well. Mentioned that we missed the event, and they gave us a bag that was given out at the event and an Ube Horchatta. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. They're located inside Palama Market in Waimalu. Parking is tight but well worth the wait.“
“Thank God I used the Google Maps app to search for food after visiting Pearl Harbor and found this place. First, Joe is a delete to speak with. Kind, friendly, good story teller. Double-checked to ensure we liked spicy food because the spicy sausage was indeed “en fuego”. I ordered the ribs and a sausage to try. So thankful I did. Flavor explosion and then a very nice kick. The ribs fell off the bone when I picked it up. Perfect amount of smoke, although Joe said he left them a bit too long for his own taste. Also just the right amount of BBQ sauce. Just enough that it didn’t take away from the meat flavor. Good sweetness to it. The big surprise was the coleslaw. Some of the best I’ve had. This place was well worth the price and a damned gem on O’ahu!“
“This is the BEST brisket bbq and beef stew on the island. Banh mi was also phenomenal. Every single drink we had was not only beautiful but also so delicious and fresh! The owner, Rose, is such a gem. Indulged us with so many samples— I loved everything she let us try! We’ll be back very soon?“
“We found this place on our way to the north shore via costco (for food pickup, totally worth it since u get a fair bit of Hawaiian local stuff there)Had the heart attack loco loco and shared it with my partner. was delicious, the beef brisket was smoky and a tad bit better than the pork belly. the combination was excellent and just enough gravy to make it a potent combo. We also got caramelized onions with it, worth it, should have also added the sautéed mushrooms (bot are an additional $, but worth the add). It's a small hole in the wall, but so so worth it. Just had a plate from ted's, and this was 10x better if not more“
“Quiet spot tucked away close by baggage carousel 20 in Terminal 2. Ring the door bell, show a mil ID and you’re in. They offer tasty baked treats that complement other fare available. Be advised that their advertised hours may not always be adhered to due to a shortage of volunteer staff.“
“Another little gem in Upper Pearl City. The lady serving the shave ice is very nice and friendly. We where the last ones to order and she was so nice, she gave us lots of samples to try from previous order that by the time our order came in, we were full from samples! The amount of shave ice is a lot ( we order a small each), should have ordered just one as it was a lot for my husband and I. The little place is cute with lots of sweet and happy decorations. Make sure to have cash at hand, because this place does not take credit/debit cards.“
“Located in a small park like area with multiple food trucks and plenty of outdoor seating. I had the standard smash burger with fries and ate onsite. The fries where outstanding and I liked the burger as well. The bun was warm and tasty, the hamburger meat was very good and spiced right with some tasty cheese and their special sauce. There were two people running the truck and payment was easy and quick. Both people were friendly and that was appreciated.I recommend if you want a smash burger and some fries.Enjoyed my experience.“
“We used to come here a lot! Like every week at least once, but we hadn't been coming into town as much so haven't stopped here in awhile.I'm happy to say that Thangs is still awesome! I never remember how good Thangs is until I've eaten at other smoothie places for awhile. What I realize when I get to have Thangs again is their smoothies have more real fruit in them, you can taste the extra flavor. Their bobas are perfect, soft without being too soft. And the texture of their bobas is creamy. The family that runs it is very efficient and friendly as well.Thangs is awesome, do yourself a favor and go there! They always keep the place very clean as well, we've been going for many years.“
“I tried Mtn Magic because I saw that they were rated #1 shave ice on Ohau. I didn't know about it but we would go to the Leonard's truck for malasadas just next door for years. I would rate the shave ice amongst my top 4 with Shimazu, Ululani & Waiola. Although it is a shack and doesn't have a place to sit. The price is similar as well as the amount and the fineness of the ice as the other 3 places. Definitely the best in mid Oahu. We stay near Kapolei so we will definitely be back.“
“We got a melon slushy it was so yummy. Round off 5 bucks a cup it was cold sweet and bright green ? my little ones enjoyed it maybe next time we will try the food ? out door seating and it was sunny and breezy that day so it was a nice little spot to stop ✔️“
“Who knew there's a Teapresso Bar here in Aloha Tower Marketplace... One of the smallest Teapresso Bar that I've seen and their menu is displayed a bit different than the usual so I'm not sure if they do have all the teas that they usually brew fresh but do see my favorite Pink Dragon Hibiscus is available here though for some reason wasn't feeling that this visit. It could be seeing the ocean view just a short distance but something about this open outdoorsy air vibe just feels so refreshing and decided on a Slushie and with what seems to have five to choose from (Mango, Strawberry, Honeydew, Yeah, Lychee, Pineapple and Passion Fruit) it had to be Passion Fruit for me and though there is a couple of tables and a few counter seating strolling around outside seem like the vibe for me as this slushie had just the right sweetness and flavor. The staff here is just a patient and pleasant as I couldn't decide between several choice did help me narrow it down to my slushie...with a view. Thank you!“
“The go to place if you around the Māpunapuna area or Saltlake area breakfast is always a must at Taka's call in it helps if you impatient and there lunch is hella awesome the place is small kine hidden if you coming from mauka (mountain) to Makai (ocean) opposite can find on the left get parking on road or up front of there place be mindful no block driveway even tough quick but go down and see what the stomach like eat and hopefully come back for another round a local place with local grindz“
“My recent visit to Dipped by Dee in Aiea, located conveniently next to the post office, left me thoroughly impressed and craving more of their delectable treats. One of the highlights of my visit was indulging in their reject apples and strawberries. Despite being labeled as rejects, these fruits were anything but. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity I received for such a low cost. Each piece was fresh, juicy, and bursting with flavor, making for a satisfying and guilt-free snack. However, the true star of the show for me was the cookie butter dish. From the moment I took my first bite, I was hooked. Whether it was a cookie butter-dipped strawberry or cookie each bite was a heavenly bliss of sweet, creamy, and indulgent flavors. The cookie butter coating added a rich and decadent twist to the already delicious fruits and snacks, creating a truly irresistible treat that I couldn't get enough of. It quickly became my favorite item on the menu, and I found myself already planning my next visit to indulge in more of these irresistible treats. In addition to the mouthwatering treats, I was also impressed by the service at Dipped by Dee. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and eager to assist with any questions or requests I had. Their passion for their craft was evident in the way they meticulously prepared each order with care and attention to detail, ensuring that every customer left satisfied and happy.Overall, my experience at Dipped by Dee was nothing short of exceptional, and I will definitely be returning. From the affordable prices and generous portions of reject fruits to the irresistible cookie butter treats, every aspect of my visit exceeded my expectations. It's clear that Dipped by Dee is committed to providing customers with high-quality, delicious treats that leave a lasting impression. Whether you're in the mood for a guilt-free snack or a decadent indulgence, Dipped by Dee has something for everyone. I highly recommend paying them a visit—you won't be disappointed.Parking: Up to 2 hours“
“I went here because I had heard about it in a class I was taking and I was not disappointed! I had tried almost every type of lumpia on the menu and my favorite had to be the Shanghai and banana ones! The spot is cute and convenient, especially if you're planning a target trip! Wait time was not too long and the service there was great!“
“I have been coming to Baldwin's since 1984. There is no better place for Shave Ice, hands down. They still have Covid distancing practices, so you order outside and they bring it to you. You can go into the shop if you're buying crack seed or similar goodies.“
“One of my favorite places in the country. First time here was in 2006 where we unfortunately asked to leave during a small dispute between us and some Marines. Ironically we all were going to the same base so we shared an expensive cab back MCBH.Glad this place is still here and maintains the same vibe.“
“Hands down fav ice cream shaved ice hybrid treat during our visit back home. A definite stop on our list of places to go when visiting back home in Hawaii. Great price, tastes amazing (yes much better than those cups you buy at stores) only down side is no real parking other than 2 stalls and the street it's on is very busy. Never really any open stalls when we go.If your looking for a yummy sweet treat, after the beach. Definitely a place to check out. Oh and they have good popcorn I'm told but never tried myself. I go there just for the ice cream.“
“My friend suggested I try this food truck/tent at Kapolei's night market and I was glad she did. The food was amazingly delicious that we ordered a second plate and the price is pretty reasonable. The chicken isaw taste like the ones in the Philippines so that was very much worth it. And the customer service is super great!!!! Definitely will go back again. ( I should've taken a picture of the food to justify the deliciousness of it)“
“Awesome food and Service. They were very kind and accommodating , and professional, the food was THE bomb. Jollof rice was fantastic and flavorful, Kebobs tasty, and the Suya hit with a scent of home. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to try some authentic African food. 10/10. Cannot wait to have some more.“
“Ice Garden in Aiea is a true hidden gem that holds a special place in the hearts of locals and regulars alike. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, this charming spot has been my go-to for years, and for good reason. Their array of icy treats is unmatched – from refreshing shaved ice to creamy flan, there's something for every palate. But it's not just the delicious desserts that keep me coming back; it's the cozy ambiance and welcoming atmosphere that make it feel like a home away from home. Whether I'm catching up with friends or treating myself to a solo indulgence, Ice Garden never disappoints. If you're in Aiea and craving a sweet escape, do yourself a favor and uncover the magic of Ice Garden. You'll be glad you did. Always #7“
“After hearing Thang's closing at this location, I was excited that another cafe took over and had the same concept as Thang's. Located across the gas station, you can easily find parking in the back by Aiea Manapua or the lot further back. Menu consists the same drinks such as fresh fruit smoothies, Vietnamese coffee, and more. They have tapioca pearls as well. We decided to get a pineapple and watermelon smoothie as those are our favorite. The prices range from $6-$8 depending on what flavor or combos you get. I was a bit disappointed by the smoothies because they added in coconut milk or some type of milk versus Thang's didn't add milk. It was really milky. No complaints but just a food for thought. It wasn't bad but just wasn't what I thought it was going to be like since the menu and concept was the same. Overall it's just okay. Def would try their iced Vietnamese coffee though because that looked amazing!“
“I think it's probably always made the same way, but when I ate it this time it was better than 6 years ago! ! This store is located in a corner of Waikele Outlet Mall, where many catering trucks are lined up. Everyone is standing and eating!“
“I ordered thru UberEats as this was my 1st time ordering from this place. I ordered the Crispy Gau Gee (6 pc), Mini plate Chicken Katsu, Mini plate Teriyaki Beef, and the Fried Noodles (Spam and Fishcake). The food was really delicious, and the portions were worth the value. I definitely recommend anyone wanting some local food, order from here.“
“Hands down, one of the best places for boba in my opinion. The tea is always brewed fresh daily. The boba itself is not hard or too chewy. Drinks are made to order. The staff is always patient, friendly and kind even with my two energetic boys running around. The ambience is so cute and the place is always clean.“
“Came here to reward myself after receiving some good job news in the morning. My aunty had mentioned the bakery as being so good that she would often take back pastries to her friends in California.I was looking at buying a butter cream roll but didn't realize they didn't come in single serve. They were way too big for me so I got a cinnamon sensation sweet bread instead. It was sooo buttery and good. I had to stop myself from eating the entire thing in one go while sitting in the parking lot. Later in the day I found out local Safeways also sell these. Dangerous.“
“My favorite food is Thai Chicken Fried rice and I've been meaning to try this place for a while. Finally went today for lunch before work and I love it! The portioning vs pricing ratio is great, flavor is fantastic, and there are so many added toppings. This is definitely top 3 on the island for me now, will be coming back! Customer service was great as well, the lady that greeted and served me was very friendly!“
“I ordered a sandwich of the day, a chai latte, and two kids meals. Everything was yummy and it was such a fun atmosphere because we got to sit at a table in the shade by the beach. The only issue was it was pretty windy in there flies but it was a okay.“
