“OMG… this restaurant is the bomb ? EXTREMELY GOOD AND DELICIOUS. A must try if you go to Kauai. Food is 11/10, service is 11/10 and atmosphere is 11/10. Really hard to find a place where it hits all the rating categories as an 11/10. So good and nice! The food is so fresh, made by order, cheese melted in the sandwich with the delicious hot pork… ufff! Divine! 100% recommend it ??“

“This little food truck is a gem. It moves around, but you can follow their social media or call to see where it will be. We tracked them down one night at the Hanapepe Friday Night Festival & Art Night, but they were already out of Kalbi. We decided to wait and try them on another day. We found the truck in Wailua and ordered the Kalbi, pork belly with white rice and fried saimin and the Kalua pork with Korean BBQ chicken, white rice and fried saimin. The man working alone in the truck is the owner and he was very friendly. We called in our order ahead of time so we didn't have to wait very long for our order. It was hot and the portions were huge. But most importantly, it was excellent! The price was very good too for the amount of food we got. We sure had delicious leftovers! If you enjoy a good, hearty meal, give the HOKU food truck a try. You won't be sorry. There was only one picnic table to sit at (which was occupied) so we ate in our car at the peaceful Pa'ula'ula Historic Site free parking lot down the street. We will surely seek Hoku's out again in the future.“

“Absolutely loved the coffee here! Espresso is nicely roasted and shines through whatever beverage you get! The service is fantastic and very friendly! The sleeper beverage here is definitely the chai, a must try in my opinion. If you’re in the area stop by Eden Coffee!!!“

“Best shaved ice on Kauai (we’ve tried a number)! Glad we found the new location, which is great. Quick drive from Poipu, much more outdoor seating and parking. There’s a couple other food trucks, some cute craft shops, and a bar backing right up to the forest.“

“Just a couple young girls running this place and doing an awesome job. Ordered the root beer float shave ice (scoop of vanilla ice cream). My husband ordered a cherry one (scoop of macadamia nut ice cream) with a white cap. They tasted so yummy. Service was great and with a smile.“

“I don’t post often on Google, so when I do, it’s because I found a gem, and Kind Koffee, is a true gem. Adorable coffee truck inside an equally adorable warehouse with other cool shops. As a former barista, I am a bit of a coffee snob, but Kind Koffee’s coffee is top notch. Almond Milk lattes are my travel addiction, and the staff at Kind Koffee made perfect lattes each time I stopped by. If you are hungry, then get the Avocado Toast. Oh my, it is “to live for” and the best I have ever had. Also outstanding are the people who make up the Kind Koffee team. Each person greeted me with a warm, aloha smile. I had a feeling the owner led by example, and sure enough, “Roo” exudes an infectious kindness that will bring a smile to your heart, even during a bummer day. It has been a delicious treat starting my day with Kind Koffee. Mahalo to Roo and her team. ?“
“One of the best juicing places I've been to especially because I believe it's all local and very tasty. I've been to other where you can literally juice something with no taste and all health if you know what I mean. The staff and people here and Kauai Juice definitely know what they are doing and doing it right. Service was very helpful and friendly. If looking for a healthy snack paired with a great taste look no further then Kauai Juice they will do you right.“

“I’m someone who isn’t fussy about when it comes to coffee. I also never order fancy or sweet coffee drinks ever, just black drip. But in vacation mode… I went for it… we got the Elipaio and the Nene and I’m leaving this review because they were some of the best coffees I’ve ever had, and not artificially or overly sweet. The staff was super friendly and seating area was super cute. Definitely make the stop.“
“We tried a few places while we were in Kauai but once we found this one we came back every day! Island bliss and chai latte are great. The coffee cake muffins are one of the best pastries I’ve ever had! Staff is extremely friendly. Highly recommend!!“

“Omg, the bowls were amazing. This place is literally a hole in the wall (there’s an order window, and that’s it) and the food is incredible! Best place I’ve been to in Kauai! Well worth stopping by, particularly if you’re looking for vegan options.“

“Order via text and picked up within 10 minutes. This might be my favorite meal on the south shore. The sea bass was flavorful. My kiddos loved the dim sum pack. Will definitely be coming back.Kid-friendliness: Kiddos loved the dim sum pack. 1 order was enough for two toddler servings.“

“Delicious. And a big thank you for trying to be mindful of our waste impact on the ?& the island by using earth friendly packaging/utensils. I was looking everywhere for a great shave ice business that also believes in social responsibility. Mahalo! ❤️“

“JoJo's is a classic. Getting into this one is more difficult because the restaurant space is so small. They have additional covered seating nearby, but be warned, it is well loved by previous shave ice enthusiasts--it's sticky! Bring baby wipes or something for your hands and faces.“

“Visiting from California and stopped here for a treat. I got a slice of the blueberry pina colada pie and it was sooooo yummy!! Expensive, it’s $7 for a slice of pie, but it was a delicious special treat. My family also got the cheesecake and snickerdoodle cookie dough and they loved those as well.“

“Big Monster’s Jurassic Poke Bowl is the best poke on island! It’s such a good balance of fresh greens rice and super flavorful and fresh ahi. The sauces are incredible. The workers there are super helpful to guide you in what to order and the warehouse is a super sweet place to enjoy a Meal! You can choose from various outdoor or indoor dining options ❤️ ? they close at 4 so come before they close!“

“Looking for an ice cream treat near Poipu? You’ll find it in Koloa at Koloa Mill Ice Cream and Coffee. They offer about 30 flavors of which “Banana Mac” was my favorite. So much so I had it three days in a row!! They also have Shave Ice, pastries and coffee. The servings are reasonably priced, generous and the service friendly!! We highly recommend a visit and while there you can visit the other quaint shops.“

“Delicious coffee and tea. Their building is a really cool historic building in keeping with the "old town" area. It has the most amazingly beautiful tree out front that canopies the entrance and part of their parking area. Relaxing vibe!“

“Food:Possibly the best poke we've had. Went almost every other day while we were on south shore. Fantastic fish, perfect sauce blend that added to the fish without distracting from the flavor. Their poke does have romaine lettuce in it which I know some people aren't a fan of, so if you don't like it, just order it without it.Location:Nice clean little eating area. Decent parking right next to it, but plenty of parking nearby. Old Koloa Town has plenty of cool shops, so we frequently grab food at Big Monster, then grab ice cream nearby and walk around exploring.Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Couple of vegetarian options, but if you're vegan, why are you going to a sushi truck in the first place?Parking: Some spots right next to it, with plenty more a short walk down the block.“

“I really HATE sharing good places, only because it makes the line even longer, but these folks not only need a shoutout but another Crack. Phenomenal Mexican food for the Island. Quality eats, good price, great service with hard working folks. Mucho mahalos. Burritos, tacos, bowls all good“

“Such great Indian food! What a breath of fresh air. It’s fast, flavorful, piping hot, and a great option for dinner. We went twice on the trip because it was so good. The owner is really lovely and clearly knows what he’s doing. Love the coconut shrimp and the dal. Great Indian is hard to find and this place nails it. No alcohol served just FYI.“

“Just have to give 5 stars after reading the reviews by people who are clueless. Mangos is awesome! The people there are kind and helpful. If you can’t afford Hawaii don’t go. It’s expensive. Don’t blame the locals who open their shops every day and struggle to make it because it was too spendy for you. Imagine how the locals feel! Expect to pay more for things than you’re used to. It’s an island! And Paradise is not free! Thank you Mangos! Great job!!“

“Best mahi mahi tacos I’ve had in a while. Their shrimp burrito was great too (tortilla was a bit oily but I think that’s a feature). Dirty rice and refried beans were incredible and tasted good. Went there right before closing time (around 2:30pm) post Waimea canyon trip. There was still a few people ahead of us ordering. Seating was a bit tight. Highly recommend this place if you are near the Waimea area.“

“The fruit relishes are SO GOOD & the passion fruit mustard is amazing!!! Lemonade is great too— light + fresh. We did wait 30 mins in line as it was a busy weekend but that’s the cost of being popular & once you order it took them 3 minutes to get it out!“

“Best sandwich I’ve ever had! So fresh and tasty! (Club-Zilla) my wife had the strawberry jelly on a bagel and strawberry lemonade and they were both SOOO good. We will be stopping by here everyday when we come back to Kauai ? also going to pick it up before leaving to the airport ?“

“First time eating a Savage shrimp, it was really good. Would have been a five star but we asked how spicy some of the sauce were and were told it was none My poor wife doesn't do well with vice and it definitely has way more kick than they indicated. Other than that we really liked “

“HUGE portion! We shared between three people. Felt like a more traditional shave ice experience than other shops that have some more interesting / unique toppings. The person working was so friendly and helpful, teaching us about how he prepares shave ice differently based on weather.“

“We walked around the corner, at the end of the street and found this gem. I LOVED hearing the kids, just being family. I was greeted kindly and got my order in a timely manner. The counter and side area where you can eat was clean. I can’t have dairy so I had just shave ice and it was so refreshing. The flavors blended well (I had coconut & lychee) and tasted yummy. My favorite part was the youngest daughter who definitely had the Aloha Spirit. She was practicing on her skates, helmeted of course, and talking to myself and another family. I asked about if she liked school and art (that’s what I teach), and her favorite flavor. It’s strawberry BTW I told my husband, she’s the original “Lilo”. I want to thank the family for making our day. Mahalo nui loa! ❤️“
