“very yummy sandwich!! we got the old school. the bread was light and the meat inside was delicious. workers are sweet and bring the food straight to you, even though you order at a counter. only downside is that the lemonade is EXTREMELY sour. it tasted like there was no sugar added, but besides that a great experience! inside is clean and there's a bathroom around the back that's also clean.“
“A little hole in wall place near Kailui Beach Park serving decent take out food for the beach. The chicken katsu, spicy fried chicken and loco moco were pretty good. The beef curry was average and we would not order again. They offer a mini size for a lot of their menu items which we found perfect for eating at the beach.“

The omelettes are full of flavor and as fluffy as their delicious pancakes. We had the red velvet, chocolate chip and cinnamon pancakes, prepare to have your tastebuds love you! We also had the Loco moco and yes when it comes to this plate, the gravy is everything and it delivered! You will leave full and happy!“
“One of my favorite poke places in Oahu! Their poke is absolutely delicious, and I always love to take it to Kailua beach for lunch. I really enjoy their salmon poke, and my boyfriend likes their spicy ahi. Everyone is also friendly and their service is great!“

After reading the yelp reviews I choose this L & L Any portion was very generous - the katsu was hot & crispy just the way I like it - good rice - Mac salad had no flavor - better mayo and a bit of salt & pepper would have pushed the Mac salad to a more acceptable level - katsu sauce a bit thin and lack flavor Over all a ok meal - it will fill you“
“The service was excellent. The host and manager were fantastic. Our guest both complimented their main dishes. He really kept saying how soft and tasty the short ribs were. I was able to swing my favorite burger for dinner. It is so good and very filling. Wife had the sea bass which was fantastic as usual. Earlier we shared the Brussels sprouts and eggplant appetizers. As usual we loved the halohalo and they loved the cream cheese dessert. The sushi was excellent and the smore desserts. This is our favorite restaurant to dine at and have guest experience the service and food.“
“The best macadamia nut pancakes in Hawaii, or even on the planet! In search of this flavor, I tried macadamia sauce pancakes in Japan, but they never tasted like this!Is it because of Hawaii's climate?As for access, it may be a little difficult to get there...If you have a rental car, you can easily go there, but otherwise it's a little difficult to get to from central Honolulu.However, even after subtracting the transportation, the pancakes are so delicious! !If you like pancakes, this is one of the places you must visit when you come to Hawaii.“
“My husband and I have eaten at l&l three times during our two week stay in Hawaii (twice in Maui and once here). At this location we ordered mochiko chicken lunch plate. It was so good and the chicken was super crispy. I got a side of their katsu sauce to pour on top and it made it perfect! The portions are huge and it's a super solid lunch plate option! Definitely recommend!“
“A great place for great food any time of day! Business has a kitchen and a bakery. My wife and I had a free day while visiting family in Kailua. We both had a Moco Loco which was fabulous and generous. Eggs cooked to perfection and a tasty gravy. After we were done, we couldn’t resist bring home a pastry for later. A very nice experience!“
“Stopped by for happy hour on a Thursday. Was not busy at all. Got seated outdoors and served drinks and appetizers pretty quickly. Everything was great. Food came out at a great time giving us plenty of time to chat before eating.
