“Don't miss the opportunity to have the best breakfast in Lahaina at this food truck. We were disappointed with our restaurant experiences and decided to try this option. The pucking pancakes and ham, egg & cheese croissant were excellent. Made with love! The outdoor seating area provides an ocean view, parking is ample and the owner is congenial. Perfect combination.“
“Amazing people - my first stop in Maui and we really felt the aloha here! So impressed with the food here! The meats were tender and cooked perfectly. We could really tell the amount of pride that went into every dish. They have a small area to sit that is shared with other trucks. Mahalo for the Ono eats ~Aloha“
“I'm a bit particular about my coffee and Kraken was one of my favorite coffee places in Kihei other than the green coffee shop which was great too!! The coffee wasn't watery (I find that to be an issue at a lot of places these days) and it was genuinely good!! Nice little spot.“
“Okay first off, I wish I took a picture of the truck.. they're covered in cute stickers and trinkets! The lady greeted us so kindly, gave us some information on the food and not one lie was told. She told us the sauces go with every flavor of mochi and omg it was so good! We got all the flavors of mochi (poi, strawberry and ube) along with the caramel sauce and pog sauce. They were all so good that it made me forget about the deep fried pb&j I got lol definitely will be back!!“
“Do you love fresh fruit? Açaí? Sorbet? Then make the effort to check out Maui Fruit Ninja. On my recent visit to Kā'anapali I had heard that the pineapple and papaya bowls were amazing -- and the info was spot on. First day I had the papaya Acai Bowl and the next day the pineapple. Both days the long line showed me that I wasn't the only person who had a craving for MFN, and it's worth the short wait. Brad was very friendly and introduced himself and his wife Pim to me the first day. Their location at the local craft fair by the Westin's boardwalk right next to the beach is a perfect setting. I also bought some of their homemade granola--yummy. I can't wait to go back to Maui and enjoy their food.“
“Had the pork belly with tomatoes and onions, food was amazing. Literally left Fleetwood’s because their lunch menu was boring. Jayboy’s photos alone had me sold. If you’re on the island, stop by your local food truck because that’s where the flavor is.“
“Wasn't expecting to get Mexican food in Maui and I needed up finding the Best Birria tacos I've ever had. Quesabirria tacos are great and the consome tops it off perfectly. Not a lot of places to sit, but I'd eat these off of the ground if I had to. The owners are really friendly and the food comes out quick. A great stop right when you land at the airport at the food round up by costco.“
“I was here a week before the sad Maui fires and had a fantastic bowl of acai along with a beautifully presented bowl of fruits, with the papaya acting as the bowl. It was fresh and such a great start to the morning. Also tried a nice large mug of latte which didn't disappoint. I hope they can rebound and re-open soon! Mahalo.“
“What a little gem to find amoung all the food trucks in this area! Got the pulled pork fries, a MUST get item! Amazing, my belly was in love! Also got the Thai chicken tacos and cheese sticks which were good. I wish I could have tried everything but only was in town two days. Get the crème brûlée as it will satisfy your sweet tooth especially because I have rarely seen it in Plantbased form. Unlike most food trucks, food prep was fairly quick in the food truck area. There are picnic tables with umbrellas, free to enjoy the food we walked here from the embassy suites and is walkable pretty much from most of the hotels. I did not see any areas for cars to park, but there could have been behind the building/shopping plaza next-door.“
“It was a warm day and an umbrella was available to use for shade as I waited to place my order. I had a polite young lady take my order and received it in a reasonable amount of time. Although this wasn't the best açaí bowl I ever had, I am satisfied with its presentation and flavor. I would definitely come back.“
“Lina was amazing!! Food, as usual, ONO!! We're so happy you're back open, we love literally every dish you make - can't go wrong with any choice. My mom LOVES your kalua pork, dad the kalbi ribs (it was his first time there and he couldn't stop talking about the ribs). See you in a few months.“
“Some of my favorite breakfast tacos I have ever had. Made fresh per order, with fresh homemade salsa that will blow you away. The three alarm and migos tacos are both incredible- so flavorful and the perfect way to start your day. Because they're made fresh, the wait can take some time- I recommend texting (yes texting) your order ahead of time to the owner/chef so you aren't waiting there too long. I go almost every morning when in Maui, it's that good. It operates out of a truck conveniently located off the road in a pull out area with a delicious açaí truck as well. Small picnic tables around if you want to eat there, and lots of chickens. Cannot recommend enough.“
“A wonderful little restaurant. The only problem is it’s popularity. Arrive as early as possible and stand in line… with everyone else. It will be worth the wait!Vegetarian options: You will find plenty of vegetarian options, and the kitchen will be happy to accommodate special needsParking: Limited, but I have eaten here a dozen times and always found a spot“
“We stumbled upon this treasure while on Vacation in Maui and ended up coming here everyday. The vegan options are varied, beautifully presented, healthy and absolutely delicious! Service is friendly and prices are fair. Large portions too, yet leave me feeling energized. Will come back here every day until we leave.“
“The atmosphere is hard to beat. You are sitting at a restaurant within feet of Kaanapali beach sand and the ocean, overlooking both Lanai and Molokai as you enjoy fabulous food in Maui! The food is phenomenal...best breakfast on the island IMO. The staff is always friendly and eager to help. Do yourself a favor and visit this hidden gem if you get a chance.“
“We had multiple lattes during our Maui visit. The Honeysuckle and The Roco Java on repeat. First is more subtle, second has a little more punch to it. Last day we had breakfast and wished we had eaten there sooner. Delicious! Avocado Toast and Eggs Benedict. So good! Service was always friendly.“
“Fanfrickentabulous! We are gluten free and this establishment knows what that means. Fresh ingredients, different cooking utensils! Amazing! The GF pizza crust was amazing! Highly recommend! The owner is amazing too! Did I mention that this place is amazing!“
“The banana bread is awesome. Get it when it's warm and you won't be disappointed. There is a little walk through the forest, across the street, that leads to a rocky beach. The area is beautiful and looks like a good snorkeling area.“
“After seeing their ads on various social media platforms, I felt we had to stop and see if the coffee was as good as the name implied. It really is pretty good coffee. As for the location, can't get much better than Front Street, Maui, HI!“
“Place was great and food was good but service was ok. First we had to wait at the door for 10 minutes when there was many tables open . The hostess seated us and then took another 10 minutes to take our order. Thankfully the busboy came to our rescue. I could see our food sitting on the counter for another 10 minutes and the busboy finally brought it to us. I saw a group come in seat themselves and then wave to the lady to order. They had obviously been here before. Food was very good and the place was clean and fun. Maybe the girl was new ? I would still recommend anyone to try this new place“
“Love this spot! Locally grown coffee from right up the hillside. Dark, Medium and Light roasts available. Packaged to go through the airport. We used a cooler bag to protect the coffee from heat and to travel it through Agricultural Inspection with no problems.“
“Actually I was at the one in Lahaina, talking to the guy since I'm a culinary chef, and the disabled person, with invisible injuries. So I just thought just like last time I had my wooden token. So I thought I'd get a shot of something good talk story maybe in the future if there might be an opening. I'm also have a safe serve a 91%. I also cook for vegans vegetarians or carnivores working at the University of Santa Cruz California. And I was basic first aid and CPR training certified. certifications It's never about the money It's always about the quality than quantity and coming up with something special just like they had before I'm a creative sushi chef also thinking about okay a vegetable wrap tofu roll kind of like with blanched cabbage leaves thinking something like couscous instead of rice No ? using possibly like tapioca rice wine vinegar with the couscous as a binder. Everything's in motion. My mind is like a menu. Working at some of the best universities doing industrial cooking for vegans vegetarians or carnivores. Just trying to get back into my click“
“This is a great place with the most amazing ocean view directly on the water. It’s a small, quaint, welcoming place. The employees are nice and friendly and are very accommodating. Food is pretty tasty.Parking: Some parking spots next to the restaurant and some more available along the side of the road“
“Dear Paia Fishmarket (Lahaina): you are missed already. Pray you are all safe. Much loveFood here is incredible. I love sitting in the outdoor seating for lunch so I can hear the birds at the Banyan Tree (across the street). Service was a bit off during my last visit… maybe the cashier was new? We ordered two shrimp tacos, a mahi mahi taco, and a snapper taco. They initially only brought out the shrimp tacos, when we asked about the fish tacos, they got confused, took the shrimp tacos back and came out with two fish tacos (didn’t say which was which) and no shrimp tacos. It took a while to get all the food we actually ordered, but once we did it was great!“
“I love a good dive bar and this place is awesome. The Bloody Mary was good. I tried the loco moco. The eggs and patty were cooked perfectly. The burger patty had a great flavor and nice char. The gravy on the loco moco was thin and needed more flavor. I upgraded for the fried rice but it wasn't great. I think it just had some frozen vey thrown in, it was only ok. Overall, it was a cool place. I would go back to watch a game and hang out.“
“Just finished my massage and stopped in for lunch. The food was excellent and served quickly. The prices are great and the guys working the truck were so kind and just plain awesome. I love this place!! I had two steak (Asada) tacos and a Mexican Coca Cola. Yum!!“
“We ate here three separate times and happy each time. Definitely one of the cheaper options and a non greasy thin pizza is never a bad idea.I just wish the had garlic dipping sauce. I guess it’s not a “thing” in Maui but other than that, no complaints“
“Eating local is the only way to go. What other options are there? But Maui offers many many varieties so it's a tough choice. I like to try different things, so I'll never get bored. You'll like it too if you venture out there and give it a shot.“
“This is our favorite spot on the Island to get the best, yummy coffee drinks. We make daily stops during our yearly trips, always buy their funny shirts and love taking story with Ms. K (Barista). She is terrific and so is the Gentleman that used to be at the main Lahaina store. If you're in the area, try the cinnamon roll place just down the street. Aloha!“
“Great food and service. Eaten here twice during this trip. The shrimp in the Camarones Arepa was tender and cooked perfectly, and the tomato and bell pepper sauce was delicious. We also had the Arepitas Fritas with pork, which was also very tasty. And the yuca fries were crispy and freshly fried. The rice and black beans in the Pabellon Bowl was very flavorful, and I had the same delicious Kalua pork as was in my arepitas. Very good, highly recommend.“
