“Moe's Southwest Grill at the food court main PX Schofield Barracks was Awesome. The Steak Stack and Steak Quesadillas were Outstanding. The cooking area was well cleaned and kept organized by the staff and they were very Aloha friendly. The prices were comparative to the local economy. Extra Guacamole is a small additional cost. I Very much recommend this establishment for a quick, delicious meal. Mahalo aaand ALOHA!!!”

“Pretty okay, the burgers can be made better though. When I get mine they tend to be all sober the place and half my topping are outside of the burger when just opening it. Other than that they are pretty good and friendly.”

“Only went there when Chingy was performing live inside tropics and it was free admission. Should’ve visit tropics more often when I was stationed back there but overall it was a great experience and took advantage what tropics had to offer. Meeting chingy was the best moment I had there and growing up to this music in elementary school was a blast ?”

He had such a good vibe—super kind, friendly, and just made everyone feel welcome. You don’t always get that kind of energy, especially when it’s busy. He was doing his thing, calling out names and making sure everyone got their food with a smile. He really made the whole experience better. Thank you Sir!”

“I purchased the Lobster and Seafood sub. The seafood was not stale, It was pretty good, and I enjoyed it. I ordered Guatemala with it, but there was not much placed on it. Overall, it was a good place to purchase food. The place is clean but there is only one worker so if there are many people, you have to wait. I will definitely go back for the Lobster Sub.”

“A total 5 star experience. I was stationed at Schofield Barracks in the 80s and still live in Hawaii. The choices were great, the food was delicious, and the soldiers/staff were professional and friendly. I'm proud of these Tropic Lightning soldiers. Please pass on my appreciation to them.”

“Overall not bad! Got the regular cheese steak + bacon and a side of ultimate fries. It was very tasty. Overall I was more impressed than I thought I'd be since these arent "real" philly cheesesteaks (no whiz?), but it was a nice changeup from going to the other places in the food court. “Walking into this place I immediately felt like I was on West Texas! The decor on the walls, the music, the owner greeting you invitingly…it was the perfect ambiance for a Sunday family brunch. Charming and authentic!

The chips and salsa were on the table fast and were SO GOOD. The chips were thick, obviously made in house. The salsa was spicy and so delicious my husband was drinking the cup.

Reasonably priced and the food was spot on. We lived in El Paso for years and this was the best Mexican food we’ve had since then.

We will definitely be back. Next time we will save room for dessert (fried ice cream or churros). The food was so good we just stuffed our faces!”

“Two thumbs up, 5 stars. We first visited their restaurant in Kahuku a few months ago. Quality food at either place, a definite local favorite of ours. Can’t go wrong with the shrimp dish’s or any other items on the menu. The inside of the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. We’ll be back, mahalo.”

I really wish they would have given some type of a brief presentation of how coffee is grown and the process for turning it into coffee grounds.”

“This is my go-to spot after I get my hair cut at nearby Major League barber shop. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch. I've had the pollo asada and the chorizo & egg tacos, both with rice and beans. 🤤 This is a Veteran/family owned business that takes their food creations and customer relations seriously. It is also SoCal Mex based flavor-wise and takes me back to the neighborhood taco shops in L.A. and San Diego. I look forward to eventually trying everything on the menu.”

Great location, parking, outdoor seating (kid and dog friendly), and a solid, healthy menu. I had the vegetarian burrito with tofu, and scarfed it down before remembering to take a picture. That's how good it was. A trickier proposition when it's raining, but that's also when the flies leave the area.”

Bacon burger with all the fixings and also with the green chili Tabasco is mayjah and it scratches the itch every time. Really good as a medium rare burger. So juicy!! One of my favs!! Kudos!!”
