My wife adored the cider selection, especially the local options served in cans.One minor inconvenience was the policy of not seating parties until everyone arrived, understandable but slightly aggravating for our group of nine. However, the owner's warmth and helpfulness more than made up for it, answering all our questions with a smile. This spot is now my top choice whenever I visit my cousins in Iowa.The famous smash burger lived up to its reputation - utterly delicious, especially paired with crispy, well-seasoned sweet potato fries.Just be cautious with parking, and don't miss the turn before the restaurant - we had to make an unexpected U-turn, but it was worth it for the experience!“
“Tried to come here twice and had no good luck. Third time is the charm! Had an incredible experience with our server Deaja. Would recommend starting with the Brussels Sprouts followed by a burger, either the Hit Corner or the Mushroom Swiss. Don’t forget to upgrade to the Truffle Fries!!“
“Stumbled across The Tattered Toad when the orchard we were going to didn't have any vegetarian options for lunch. The fried cauliflower, mac abd cheese bites, poppers, onion rings and hot pepper bites were so tasty. Everyone enjoyed their food and they even have a kids menu. There is a super fun playground across the street that all 3 kids plus the grown ups had fun in.“

“I love this place! It is a great place to go on Sundays to watch football. The patty melt was delicious, I will be back just for that. The fries were perfect and even better dipped in their homemade ranch. The beer selection was decent, I really enjoyed what I had. We will continue to come back.“
