“We have been fans of Cobble since the very beginning - I can't believe I haven't written a review! The attention to detail, quality, and creativity is unmatched. We love coming every few months, although it would be weekly if it were up to me! We travel a fair amount and have experienced many, lovely meals. We love to compare to our local favorite, but the "Cobble Bar" is quite high - nothing has beat them yet. :)“

“The food is extremely delicious and presented well! Little louder than I’d prefer however the burgers were great! Got to try the F4 Hot Burger if you like a little kick. Staff was really friendly and the ranch is great to. Don’t miss out.“

“We were there on a Thursday for lunch. The place was packed but we found a table in back. My husband had biscuits and sausage gravy, and he said it was delicious! I had a tenderloin and fries and they were very good. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. The food came out hot and in a timely manner. We will definitely be back.“

“Went to Lucky's for breakfast with my family. I had the Villa with their French toast special (red velvet with a sweet cream cheese filling). The French toast was so delicious I didn't need syrup with it, my over easy eggs were perfect, the sausage links are huge and we got four to an order. My son had the mini waffles and they are decent price and excellent quality. We topped it off with coffee that our server Mika kept full and checked on us often. We will definitely have to go back and try other things on the breakfast menu.“

“Went on a date night to try somewhere new. Our server was so nice and informative about the menu. Both tried two of the burgers and were happy and went home full. Loved that you could pick salad, fries, or soup of the day for the side. Will 100% go again and recommend to everybody. ❤️“

“Loved this place, it’s funky enough to make a west coast hipster blush. The coolest location that’s kind of in a neighborhood kind of in the shadows if downtown Cedar Rapids and on the outskirts of the new Big Grove and Pickle Palace tourist traps sits this authentic, homegrown funky spot. The patio and and fire pits are to die for. The bar makes one want to belly up and drink the day away like a cowboy fresh of the trail. Keep it local LPSF!“

“I had the fruit salad and brisket sandwich. Both were delicious! The fruit was ripe and fresh cut. We also shared a piece of the chocolate cake between three of us and still had leftovers! It was a super generous helping and very decadent. The atmosphere is quaint and fun, with beautiful light fixtures. The gals serving us were friendly and helpful great job and thank you!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp entrance in the back. I recommend bringing help or calling ahead, as you'll need to maneuver the gift shop area. Totally doable with care, just be aware.“

“We went early so a smaller crowd; likely much busier later. A fairly typical Midwestern “corner bar with food” however the food was excellent and a wide choice of tap beers with a nice Happy Hour option. Recommend!! (Kind of a hidden gem, with great service too.) We had wings and onion rings, and the daily special BBQ pulled pork and sweet potato fries.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp in the back. Call ahead to reserve a “lowtop” table.“

“Our server Kale was excellent. Very thorough and attentive. We each tried something different. I had the Cobb salad with Chicken. It had unique corn bread crouton, cranberries, diced sweet potatoes, yummy fresh crumbles bacon bits. The sweet potato were the only part of my meal I was not a fan of. We all tried the salmon Cajun soup. It was good the salmon melted in your mouth. The Class Act burger my son said was easily the best burger he has had. My son's girlfriend had the Iowa omelet and she said it was yummy. My husband had the corn beef hash he said it was a great from scratch hash.“

“A great place to stop in and have a good breakfast. There is seating for seating for around 50 people inside. The place was clean and the staff efficient. There was a sign saying wait to be seated but when they saw anyone they would just say go ahead and set anywhere. Just as we where seating our waitress came over and got our drink orders. When ahe came back she asked if we where ready to order and we said yes. A short time later she came out with oir ordersEverything was correct amd tasted delicious.“

“Really solid greasy spoon experience. Iowa nice servers (which is not always given for diners), decent comfort food, clean ambience, and a good mix of townie clientele. The food was quite underseasoned, but nothing that could t be fixed with table salt and pepper. They probably do this on purpose for the older folks who might be limited salt. We had breakfast and everything was pretty much exactly as you'd expect. Generous portions!“

“Stopped by for the first time and let me tell ya what, BurgerFiend is exactly what other Guys wish they could be. For the price of a certain 3 bun burger I got exactly what I wanted with a side of delicious fries. Could not be happier. Also finished it all off with a delectable chocolate shake. They use French Vanilla base with chocolate syrup so it's creamy but not overly rich. I will return.“

“Not a horrible place. We were there for a company party, so the place was closed to the public and we were the only ones there. It was very open. In the way back they had games, like cornhole. I didn't really go back there so I'm not sure what else was back there. And there is a pool table up front. The only thing that bothered me was its location. It's behind other stores, so you kinda have to know where you're going or else you'll miss it. The entrance is in between two businesses and farther back. But, obviously, they can't do anything about that, so it just is what it is. I did like the size of the place and how airy it felt, the ceilings are really high, I think it was just a warehouse that they converted into a bar. But, all in all, it's an okay b ar. Not the best, definitely not high scale. I don't know how much drinks cost because ours were covered..“

“Zeppelins is such a wonderful experience every single time we go. The food is near perfection, I love that this restaurant has a gluten free menu and takes allergies seriously. I have never had any issues while eating at this restaurant. The happy hour that runs everyday is such always a bonus on top of the wonderful and excellent service we receive from the staff.I wanna give a special shoutout to Ben, who is such a wonderful server and just perfection. He is always excited to see us, makes us feel welcomed and wanted there. He always remembers our drinks, checks out throughout the night and always says when the bill is given he is still around if needed. He is always a pleasure and we love asking for him! We appreciate you!I would also like to give another shoutout to Maddie who is always at the hostess stand, she always make sure we feel special, always has the gluten free menu for us and recalls our name. She’s always a light to our visit, we always love walking in and she’s there and welcoming us like old friends. We appreciate you so much!!Dietary restrictions: They can handle dairy allergy and gluten allergy!“

“Yesterday 11/17/23 I was lucky enough to order the Cuban Sandwich. It was a random carry out choice and I was craving one. I’ve had many Cubans, but Cruz’s knocked it out of the park! Nice crusty but soft hoagie, tender and juicy slow cooked pork, a nice thin slab of ham, melty cheese and crisp pickles. I’d highly recommend this awesome sandwich.“

“The menu has a really nice selection. There is a good value for the food you get. We liked the appetizer sampler basket because we could try three different appetizers at once with smaller portions. There is a jukebox you can choose your music on by using your phone. There are also TVs, pool tables, and darts to play. The bathrooms were clean and well lit.“

“I discovered this restaurant about 8 months ago and it is easily my favorite restaurant in town. Delicious home cooked meals with large servings of everything. The service is friendly and top notch! And it's clean with a homey atmosphere. And best of all, the prices are reasonable and you always get your money's worth! Try it, you won't be disappointed!!“

“I had an exceptionally excellent meal last night! Texas Roadhouse is ALWAYS great, but my server went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary needs and wishes. As a person following a gluten free predominantly keto diet, it’s not always easy! She gave me salad without croutons, I had the 16 oz ribeye medium rare, and loaded broccoli. Yes folks, broccoli with butter, sour cream, cheese and bacon, and when I asked for it on a plate instead of a small bowl, and explained why, (better cheese melt), she said heck yes and got ‘er done. Now I know this isn’t every one’s cup of tea, but it sure made my night, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t try it herself next time… signed, Potatoes Not Necessary!“

“Luckynpenny is a convenient nice place to meet friends after work. The high booths are appreciated so that you don't have to share the other diners conversation. The food was mid level good, and my grilled chicken cesear salad was well made and fresh while not being outstanding. I was happy enough with it.A bite of a friend's veggie pizza with garlic oil found it to be very good with a desirable crisp thin crust. The wait staff were good without being overly friendly. When our checks arrived, my drink had been erroneously added to someone else's check at my table.Clean, with monster sized televisions, all playing something different.“

“My dad and I popped in for lunch at Czech Town Station. Our waitress was very helpful throughout our meal and quite accommodating with helping us select beers to try with our meal. We both ended up getting the schnitzel with tots and potato salad. We polished it off because we were hungry tourists. This restaurant provided a nice pick-me-up for us to continue exploring Czech Village and Cedar Rapids.“

“Stopped at New Bo for something to eat and decided on this booth. I ordered the Italian Beef with Hot Peppers and juice on the side since I was eating in my car. It was hands down the best I have had in Cedar Rapids. I would put it up against a couple places I go to in Chicago. Full of beef and very filling and was $11 after tip. Well Done I will be back!“

“We stopped by this restaurant for lunch on our drive home to Minneapolis (from St Louis MO). Very good and friendly service, decent (unpretentious) foods: I asked to have the hashbrowns crispy and it came out just as I expected it. This will be our annual stop after Thanksgiving on our way home.“

“ON MARCH 30, 6pm went for nice quiet dinner and WOW! The music was so loud you couldn't here yourself. It blew our heads off. I don't know how the customers there could stand it....There was no choice but to leave. We like the place the servers and the food but not with music raising the roof. Very dissapointing! Not sure if and or when we'll go back.“

“4.25* (out of 5) Food: 4* Atmosphere: 3* Value: 5* Service: 5* 01/21/2024 My wife found this place online and wanted to stop for a meal, so we ate brunch here on the way out of town after our weekend stay in Amana. It is inside an older traditional brick building and has a lot of character, actually reminding me of walking into a centuries-old restaurant in Europe. The basic colonial decor fits the character of the 19th century Colonies theme with a penchant for the color burgundy throughout the restaurant. I gave the atmosphere an average rating - clean and historic, yet also a bit aged. The service, quality and value of the food though is what stood out to me from our visit. Max W. was our server and he was very attentive, full of suggestions and made the experience quite enjoyable. My wife ordered the Ronneburg Melt with Fried Potatoes and I ordered the Schnitzel Sandwich with Pickled Beets (see picture below). I don't have pictures of the meals and while I can't seem to get it posted on the website, here is the link for the Reel on Instagram, showing the food and the interior of the restaurant: If you found this review helpful, please show your appreciation with a Like or a Follow. “I really should have been eating at Willie Ray's more before now. I first tried the place that is now Willie Ray's once or twice back when it was E-Z Fast BBQ. I have picked up food from the little hut a few times since it has been Willie Ray's, also. Willie Ray's food has always been fantastic, but I really don't like to do barbecue as take-out. (I have dogs, and bringing barbecue in the house gets them so worked up.) Now that Willie Ray's has a sit-down location, I'm thrilled! I have been twice in the past week. I'm the kind of barbecue fan that real barbecue fans complain about. I drench my food in sauce. So, the quality of a barbecue restaurant's sauce is super important to me. Willie Ray's sauce is amazing! I have tried the pulled pork sandwich, and the brisket sandwich. I would highly recommend both. Personally, I liked the pulled pork a little better, but I think most barbecue fans would prefer the brisket. The brisket has an incredibly well-developed bark. I happen to be a weirdo who doesn't like much bark, but I know most people love it. Even with more bark than I'm used to, the brisket was still awesome, though. The people who run the restaurant have been super nice on both visits, and they get you your food very quickly. So, it's a great lunch break option.“

“Tried app sampler and chicken tenders were amazing, really good honey mustard. Got my usual for dinner and everything just as I expected. Luis was a great server, so friendly and accommodating. Great to find such kind and attentive service, thank you!“

“This is just what Cedar Rapids needed. The food is awesome. Breakfast for 2 is cheaper than lunch for 2 at a fast-food joint! Portions are good sixes. The service was great. Very spacious and clean. Definitely will be a regular place for breakfast. I will be going back to try their lunch menu ?“

“The burgers are fresh, and all the best REAL ingredients (lettuce, onion, pickles) make it more like an expensive burger. The best fries anywhere! And get a malt; the custard is just the right texture that a spoon is needed in the beginning, but a thick straw works in the end.“

“The baked steak was yummy. It was the first thing gone on my plate. The hash browns were good.My husband said the omelet was good and the pancakes were ok. However the elephant ear was not worth it which was a huge disappointment for him as that's what he was looking the most forward too. The server did a good job.“

“In Cedar Rapids for business. Found this gem in an industrial park to watch the Iowa game. Menu is more than handhelds and fried barf-ood. Prices were extremely reasonable and portions generous! Salad was a pleasant suprise of spring mix and crunchy mini cucumbers plus other ingredients! Food arrived timely and well prepared. I thoroughly enjoyed the broasted chicken with honey drizzeled roasted brussel sprouts. Our 1/2 order of nachos was delicious and more than enough to share. From salad to nachos all produce was fresh. Clean and pleasant decor. Plenty of TV's to watch Iowa for the win. Server kept us supplied with cold beer! Great, great local pub experience!!!“

“My hometown bar I grew up in and love. Great service and good food. But God damn the prices to eat, have a couple drinks, and leave a decent tip are God damn outrageous. Doubt I'll be back anytime soon. I don't know how people can even afford to go there.“
