“Most of the food was good. The Cajun shrimp and chicken pasta was disgusting. It tasted like dirty dish water. Everything else was delicious. Fish and chips, bourbon glazed wings, and the classic platter were satisfying. Our waitress was busy but didn't miss a beat. Overall, it was a good experience even with a busy toddler.Kid-friendliness: They give you a crayon and coloring sheet and have a kid menu.“
“I have pool league there on Tuesdays, great place! Big space and staff is super friendly. Amber the bartender is super nice and funny and Alaina is a great manager, very accommodating. Maybe she'll convince you into a $3 Mystery shot like me lol... Another plus is the food, especially the wings and burgers!! Concert/ band venue ambiance is also a great vibe in their back room on the weekends check it out!“
“Went down for breakfast and got the burrito which was surprisingly good. Wife and I got coffee which was lukewarm at best but we told them about it and they made a new pot. Server lady was very good and friendly. A little pricey but we’re next to the airport so…“
“Best burger I have ever had! I had a single cheeseburger with the crispy fries. The burger was absolute perfection; from the bun to the patty. I sat at the bar, arguably the best seats in the house. You get to see the dedication and care the cooks put into their craft, and the results reflect that!“
“Food was incredible. Entire team was fantastic. Everyone was so nice and friendly. One of the best dinners we’ve had in all our global travels. This is food made with LOVE. If we lived in Chicago, Jeong would be a staple restaurant for us.“
“Love Kasama! I’ve been back each time I visit the city and the breakfast is banging. I know the sandwich + hash-brown is iconic and a must try but their other food is equally as delicious. Would highly recommend ordering online to skip the line if you don’t plan to eat inside.“
“EDIT 03/29/24:Got an email today saying I got a refund for the booking fee as well as the surcharge. I was also told that "The restaurant surcharge is in place to help us offset the rising costs of food, beverage, labor, benefits, supplies, and more. It is added to all checks but can always be removed upon request."I've upgraded my rating to 4/5. I appreciate the response, but I still don't agree with those fees. Just raise your menu prices.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Another toxic Chicago racket. In this one, booking a reservation actually costs you money! Yep - they do not apply the deposit to your final bill or refund it - they just keep the money for you making the reservation. Then, they charge a 3.25% “restaurant surcharge” on your final bill. A surcharge for what exactly??? Covid is over. At least fake it and call it “employee benefit” or some other made up thing. It’s a shame because our waitress was top notch and we would have tipped her 20%, but after deducting the silly surcharge and the deposit it came down to 15%, so good job on screwing over your waitstaff.Vote with your wallet - don’t let them get away with it.“
“The taste was much better than I expected. The two of us spent over 500, with nearly 100 in tips. The A5 Wagyu was more delicious than I imagined, and the oysters are definitely a must-order item at their restaurant. The only issue was personal; I’m someone who doesn’t like being frequently asked "how is everything" while eating. Although the person in charge was very enthusiastic, it was just a bit too much for me. I hope in the future they could pay a bit more attention to individual customer preferences.“
“Coach's restaurant is the restaurant in the Doubletree hotel near Midway Airport. This spot is easy for travelers seeking convenience. I had the apple pecan shrimp salad. The salad was well prepared and the shrimp was well seasoned and grilled. This spot is very clean and in order, creating an easy place to grab a salad or other lunch and work. It’s also good in the evening to grab an easy dinner and watch a game.Service was fantastic. I think my girl filled up my water 10 times.“
