Came in and were greeted by the manager. The plates are small but suprisingly good flavor. We all shared and walked away full after trying several dishes. Our waitress (I believe her name was Pearl) was very attentive and courteous. My favorite items were the garlic beef noodles and the short rib potato hash. I absolutely love the lamb carpaccio, never had raw lamb before, it was cured well and paired with gooseberries that popped in the mouth and cut through the greasiness. Mussels were also mind blowing with the taste and creativity. Everything was fantastic until the blue prawns get in the way, they were still kinda raw I know that’s how some places do it but I felt uncomfortable eating raw shrimps, and desserts were subpar. However overall it’s amazing and definitely worth going back for new menu rotations“

“Food is meant to be enjoyed but food can also be an experience and I have never been anywhere that did this quite as well as Schwa. Every dish was both beautiful and delicious and you could see the intentionality behind every decision. I particularly loved both the wagyu and the quail which were probably the best meats I’ve ever had.

As far the experience itself, I can acknowledge it’s not for everyone but it was certainly for me. The music is loud but not overwhelming and I felt like they were playing one of my playlists. Really I just had a lot of fun dining here. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday experience and hopefully I can come back for another special occasion soon.“

“I went for a friends graduation brunch, and it was definitely a hopping spot in the city, and I can see the appeal for the rooftop views alone, but I think it’s a bit overpriced for what you’re getting in my opinion. I had the biscuits and gravy ($25) which was fine but also strange in that it tasted more like a chowder than gravy. I also got the chocolate chip cookies which were and came in an order of 3 for $12. As I said, a bit overpriced for cookies, but actually felt worth it for their size and deliciousness. Of course, part of why you’re coming here is for the views and this place did not disappoint! Despite it being a very hot day outside, there was a good crowd out there especially because there’s a bar on the patio as well. And even though it was very busy throughout the entire time there, my party and I had fairly consistent service, although I did have my drink order forgotten, but the server ended up comping me for it, which made up for it.“

“Stopped by for a brunch date with my husband. We had bottomless mimosas which was a great option. The breakfast nachos and churro French toast were both very good. The views were beautiful and you can’t heat that. Service was a tad slow but overall a good experience and would come back!“

“Some of the best grilled seafood in the city and that's saying something. Top 2 in the city along with Dees" IMO. Very seasoned without being salty. My guess is garlic. Crabs are my go-to. The corn, potatoes, and turkey necks are all tasty too.“

I highly recommend this place if you are looking for some delicious soul food. I love the dressing, baked chicken, sweet potatoes and muffins. The portions are good, I had enough left over to take some home for a late night snack. Our hostess Ms. Lyn has outstanding service she made sure that my glass was full at all times and that I had everything that I needed. “As RH furniture owners and lovers, we couldn’t wait to try the restaurant in their gallery. We did not have a reservation and got seated within 15 minutes. However, I would recommend a reservation in the future, even for lunch on a weekday, as it was really busy. The decor and ambience were beautiful. We got the lobster roll, chicken sandwich, and fries for food. The lobster roll was absolutely amazing - the lobster was cooked perfectly and not chewy whatsoever. I also appreciated that it was not drenched in mayo. The fries were crispy and seasoned well. My husband liked his sandwich. Our only complaint would be how slow the service was, which doesn’t seem to be the norm in Chicago.“

“They make the absolute, hands down, best meatball grinder I've ever had. Everything about it is otherworldly.
The meatballs are well flavored and have the ideal texture and consistency one could ask of a meatball. There's an herby, garlicky flavor which is very noticeable without being overwhelming.
The sauce is just a little sweet, just enough to contrast with the meat. There was mozzarella and it seemed like a little bit of ricotta too, but not too much to make it gloopy.
The bread was perfect, really more of a hard, crusty, fresh baked roll. It provided a crunchy contrast while standing up to the healthy heaping of ball and sauce and cheese.
It was the best sandwich I've had all year and the best meatball sandwich I've ever had.“

“This is possibly the most amazing place I think I’ve ever eaten. I had the mushroom omelette with a Greek bread toasted.
The servings are extremely large. Someone back there really knows how to make an omelette. It is so fluffy.
Now if you think that can’t get any better the topper is they offer ice cream with your breakfast for dessert .
I was here on the marathon weekend this Sunday so it was extremely chaotic and they just really handled it so well .
