“If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food with lots of options (and generous portions!), look no further! Upon arrival, you get chips and 2 types of salsas (Roja/red and verde/green). I ordered a fish taco and an Al pastor taco con rice and beans. So much I couldn’t even finish! My boyfriend ordered one of the many options of burritos and it was the biggest burrito I’ve seen! He loved it!!! The mole sauce on it was delicious. Oh, we also ordered taquitos as an appetizer which could be a meal in itself for one person haha! We loved the food so much, we ordered a half dozen tamales to go. Chicken and pork. Soooo delicious. 5 stars. Can’t wait to go back and try everything else! FYI - it’s byob in case you’re looking to have a cervesa or cocktail with your meal. You’ll want to bring that with you. Saves money so you can eat more!!!“
“Flo is awesome! Delicious & good value. Easy, comfortable neighborhood spot. Weekend brunch is fun. I particularly love dinner...amazing homemade chips and guac. Love the burger & fries!! And classic steak tacos. Perfect margaritas.“
“Much smaller than I imagined and the atmosphere wasn't my favorite upon walking in, however, the food and drinks blew us out of the water! I ordered a Michelada and it was FIRE.Food was incredible. Honestly anything on the menu you cannot go wrong.“
“Nice addition to the neighborhood! We were seated promptly when walking in at 10:45ish on a Saturday morning for brunch. Didn’t have a reservation. Service was great. Our waitress was attentive and patient when my family member took a bit to order. Food came out pretty fast. Very nice establishment. Would recommend.“
“I have hosted two events at Barcocina West Town and they have both been outstanding. The team was very easy to work with pre-event to coordinate. Day of, they had everything ready and were very attentive to our needs. The servers and bartenders were exceptional and provided incredible service. The food and drinks were delicious, and everyone had a great time. The space was super cute and inviting. If you need to host an event - bridal or baby shower, birthday party, anniversary, graduation, or a business mixer- look no further!“
“They are a great option for family dining. They gave us specialized attention for a bday party and made us feel incredibly welcomed while the guest of honor was treated extremely kindly and given even more specialized attention. And the food was great too!“
“One of my favorite aspects of Bar Sótano is the service. Went in without doing much research and it went beyond my expectations. It is intimate, cozy, and even though it’s in a “basement” it did NOT feel claustrophobic. There were patrons celebrating a birthday, friends hanging out, couples being romantic, and some sitting at the bar just chatting. The food top-notch. Chef Jackie’s menu is excellent! Highly recommend the roasted bone marrow, oysters, paella, and of course either the flan or tres leches.Tequila and mezcal options are excellent. Try a flight of either on your first visit (or any visit). I lean more tequila and was happy Fortaleza is on the menu.Keep in mind that there is a mandatory 20% service charge regardless of party size. I think this is a great way to go and make sure staff isn’t “trying” for tips. Consequently making it a better experience for the patron and a better working environment for the staff. A win-win.“

It had a cozy, vibrant atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. “This is my favorite restaurant in the area! We have tried multiple things from the menu: chilaquiles, tacos, burritos, pozole, sopes rusticos. Literally nothing disappoints! The waitress is always so nice and attentive. Really wish more people knew about them and ate there.“

“Owner is contagiously passionate about his food, which made the experience that much more enjoyable. The juice/horchata/lemonade Are incredible - if it’s your first time, owner lets you sample each one. Ordered the birria quesadilla dinner with chips and guac, all of which were outstanding and so authentic. Will definitely be back!!“
