“Came here on a Sunday night for the first time. We were delighted to see the "oysters for $1.50 all day" sign upon our approach. Yes, please! Josh gave us the drink menu run down. You will want one of each, but I tried two on this visit. The pink one is Familiar Places and the other is Confucius' Final Cocktail. Yes, the cookie gets a little soggy on one side, but it is soaked in a lovely alcohol concoction. No complaints. See photos.The menu is small plates. After the oysters, we had the fried white anchovies, grilled octopus (our test for any restaurant offering it and they passed with flying colors), croquettes - spanish style, and a small charcuterie plate. All fresh, and amazing. Loved the accompanying sauces for each dish.They will have outdoor seating for summer which is perfect. The seating indoors is intimate, but inviting and we never felt rushed. A great date night spot or a stop for a true, craft cocktail.The owner, Devin, was there and is also hands-on to take a drink order or answer questions. The kitchen staff prepares the food quickly, but it's obvious that they take care and pride in their preparation and service.We will back for sure!“
“Delicious food! The atmosphere is intimate and set in, what looks like, a house. It's a small space but perfect for a date night or dinner with friends/family. The tacos are amazing! As is the guacamole and potatoes. Everything I had was 10/10. The drinks are incredible too. Highly recommend coming if you're in the area. The flavors and dishes are unique and not like anything you'll get anywhere else. The chef does an amazing job.“
“Our experience was absolutely amazing!! As a local business owner as well in Geneva I kept hearing about this restaurant from multiple clients and it did not disappoint!Our server was absolutely amazing, she did not rush us, she was very sweet, and very genuine when it came to describing the food.The food was 10/10! The beetroot salad with chive ice cream was incredible. It sounds like it would be questionable but it is such an amazing and brilliant combination of flavors. The scallops were out of this world and cooked to perfection.We did not have one bad dish and will definitely be back! “Took my daughter to Mesón Sabica for her birthday. The food was delicious as always but what make us impressed was the details. They gave her a birthday card , the young lady that took care of us Mallory was so attentive and nice . She even mail us a thank you card for the visit . That restaurant is a very special place with outstanding, delicious food . Everyone should go and try it !Vegetarian options: The vegetarian pasta is out of this world , my favorite.“

“We are a family of 4, we weren't sure if a restaurant without Kids Menu was a good option for us. But our girls (6 and 13) loved every dish they tried. It was a delicious experience and we definitely are coming back. Sonny was a great host, gave us recommendations and he just got us. We tried Meat paella, Beed meatballs, charcuterie, chicken a la giardiniera. We cannot wait to enjoy Al Fresco when the weather gets warmer.“
“The food here is awesome, the service here is usually great. Tonight though, our server carleigh was exceptionally horrible. It started out fine even though I could easily tell she had been drinking for what seemed like the entire night based on the fact that when she was looking at you, she was moreso looking through you. That, and the fact that she had to pause every few seconds to remember what she was just saying. All of that taken into account, my partner and I laughed it off.When I noticed both serving plates on the table were dirty, I politely let her know “hey, I understand this happens, but these plates are dirty. Do you mind if we replace them?” ……she then proceeded to pick up the plates and say “how are they dirty”Hahahaha okayAfter that she probably saw our table two last times, one being for the check.She then proceeded to have us waiting for 6-7 minutes for her to come BACK and grab the card from us —so her busser had come by and done it for her. When she finally came to grab the check, she literally non-verbally signaled for the card with her hands in the air and finally goes “the card?”Look- if you’re going to drink on the job, make sure you’re a functioning, kind drunk.Pasta was great.“

“Never had your tacos before but refuse to pay $3-$6 for a taco. When I saw you were going to be at scarecrow fest in st Charles and your tacos were $1.75, we had to try them. Got them for lunch and then decided to get more for dinner on way home. So delicious and so worth the $1.75. Thank you for helping fill my taco craving, been missing authentic tacos.“
