No gristle, very tender. Barry, our waiter was accommodating, efficient, and flawless. We had 2 special requests that he honored without blinking an eye. Barry's not your run of the mill waiter. He's entertaining and funny without interfering in conversations. From beginning to end, it was a textbook perfect dining experience.“

“First time dining here and it was awesome! We came in 30 min. before close on a Sunday and were graciously welcomed! Our server, Salvador was very attentive and eager to provide great service. The food was absolutely outstanding! Nonna’s meatballs were the best I have ever had. It was a portion of 3 huge meatballs and the meat was very soft and juicy. The Caesar salad was fantastic with REAL Caesar dressing complete with white anchovies and lots of cheese. We also had the rigatoni with vodka sauce, fresh mozzarella and sausage which was delicious! “The food met or exceeded everyone's expectations. Our server, Brooke, and her assistants were terrific: pleasant, patient, and attentive. The restaurant was full/noisy and the host did his best to accommodate us with a quiet location, a request we made through the app because of the hearing disability of my husband who is a Vietnam Veteran. The volume of the restaurant was still too loud for him: even with hearing aids conversing across a table that could have accommodated eight when we turned out to be only five was challenging, but the window location was the best option and we appreciated that the host did his best. I'm pointing out this situation because it is difficult to find a restaurant that ticks all the boxes: good food, good value, and good conversational ambience. Surely it is a plus that Neat did their best.“

Excellent service from Johanna who is personable, professional and-knows the menu well! You can't go wrong with her recommendations though not sure you could go wrong with anything here! “Came here with my wife while we were in town for a marriage conference. It was a busy Saturday night, but we had a reservation so the wait wasn't bad. Service was excellent and they got us helped very promptly, even with the full house!I ordered pollo marsala (pictured) with The Godfather (drink). Both were excellent! My wife ordered the pappardelle al nonno and she liked it as well. Great atmosphere as well. Would recommend the high tables if you're on a date as they're a bit more tucked away.Parking: We went on a Saturday evening (6:30 reservation) and didn't have any issues finding parking. Used the side lot which is shared by the other businesses nearby and found a couple spots immediately.“

“I would give this place 100 stars if able! I had to plan a rehearsal luncheon for my son's wedding in Joliet in mid May with only 2 months notice. Since we live in North Carolina, I had to do all the research online. Thank heaven I came across SixtyFour Reserve Room in a Google search. The manager, Andrew, contacted me right away and was so helpful in making suggestions for our event. Cheryl, the events manager, took over in finalizing all the arrangements. There are so many different options for appetizers, meal combinations, wine, cocktails and beer! Our guests were able to choose their favorites ahead of time. When we arrived on the day of the event, we were so delighted by the venue! Everything I had requested was in place, and Cheryl and our amazing server/bartender, Alex, immediately greeted us and made everyone feel welcome. The appetizers and meals were served efficiently and right on the timeline I had planned. The food was incredibly delicious with a pleasing presentation. Our guests had so much fun with the Wine Stations, and the whiskey lovers appreciated the variety of choices. Everyone raved about how much they enjoyed the food, drink and ambiance. Best of all, I was able to relax and enjoy our guests since all the work was done by Andrew, Cheryl, Alex and the kitchen staff. The cost was very reasonable, especially so close to Chicago. “Unfortunately, the evening did not start off well. We were told that we had to wait for our reservation for atleast 10-15 min after our original time, even though we showed up early. Then after waiting, we were told another 15 min. Noticed that they seated other groups that were walk ins so I guess they were given priority. We had two young children who were starving so we decided to leave and just as we did, the manager came running after us and asked us to stay. They turned around a table and even through a pizza in the oven for the kids, no charge. The food was good, not great. Felt a little rushed as it was now kind of late for dinner and they were getting ready to close. Wouldn't mind giving them another try but will likely favor other restaurants over this one.“

“Open, very, summery atmosphere! Feels like you're grabbing dinner on vacation to places like Palm Beach or Miami. Such a great place for a brief escape from Chicago winters. Elegant but still casual. Bright colors, nothing dark and dingy like several if the more old school Italian restaurants. Food is excellent! A good variety. I had the linguine with clans and I loved how it wasn't saturated in butter and garlic. Tasted like it does in Italy! Bread was fresh, beet salad was surprisingly delicious, and the Gelato was some of the best I ever had. We got hazelnut and pistachio. Coffee was good and strong. Service was good though we had to ask for several things which should have been already at the table, like grated cheese, salt and pepper, sharing plates should have come with the dessert as they gave enough spoons to know we were all sharing, etc. I've been here when it's jam packed and the service has always been great! This time it was less busy and we had to ask the bus boy for things. But, that being said, the waitress was very polite and immediately took care of requests when she was present. I wanted a table by the window and the host willingly accommodated us by making a 4 top for us. One plus from coming on a lesser busy time was that it was much quieter,l. Usually it's pretty loud in there when it's busy. But I always appreciate the uplifting vacation like atmosphere! I've never been disappointed, and this is probably my 4th time eating at Lucia Rose and will not my last.“

“Where do I start? I came across this place on instagram. I was shocked, that I had been missing out. I didn't go right away. So, I decided to go one Friday and the service was awesome. Both bartenders, were very nice and attentive. The ambiance, was chill. Some people, were standing having their wine immersed in conversation. I took a seat, at the bar since I was alone. I cannot remember, the drinks I had. But, I enjoyed both! I visited again, the following Friday LOL! This time, a little earlier. I sat at the bar again, this time I went for the special "froze rose" with a shot of gin. Extremely good drink! So I had two lol Many thanks, to that bartender! Both times, I loved my expertience...I've found a new chill, laid back, after work on a Friday spot!“

The wine was wonderful our Pizza was cold and our stuffed Mushrooms were slightly over cooked. With these minor issues it's not enough to stop us from wanting to go back. The other dishes looked and smelled fantastic from the people around us . The location is also nice a suburban downtown enclave.“
