“I am giving them a 1 star rating for many reason. I went here for the first time last night to celebrate my 11 year anniversary. We called 2 weeks prior to set up reservations. We got to the restaurant 20 mins before our time. Got in 10 mins after our reservation time and got a table literally right in front of the kitchen. I can’t tell u how many time my chair got hit by people walking by people who worked their people just walking. At one point I kept trying to flag down any waiter so we could get our check and go. For how much I spent I was expecting something completely different and not so cluttered they have way to many tables to close together there is no walking room. If u have a wheelchair forget about coming to this restaurant. The food was decent for the price I paid although I didn’t want to complain cause it took 40 mins just to get our food in the first place. My steak was over cooked. U would think it with it being a steak house they know how to cook it”

“The choices on the many menus were vast and the dishes were delicious from the avocado appetizer to the special salad to the special dinner that included a choice of wine,salad, steak,or shrimp etc.And dessert!The waiters did teamwork and the managers were visible and helpful There is now also a special harvest menu that looked delicious with a pumpkin ravioli that we want to get next time”

“This is absolutely a one of a kind experience! My mother and I did the “Decadent Omakase” as it was our first visit. Lee, our waiter was amazing. All of the staff that helped us were so informative and kind! The flavor in each selection was beyond this world. It was pricey but worth every single penny. I have never had a better experience in my life. The Omakase was EIGHT COURSES. Every one being perfectly curated. I cannot wait to go back.”

“We had the hot tapas ... scallop (none of the sweetness. Literally tasted like water in solid form). The sauce was the saving grace. Also had grilled calamari. Not much flavor and no char like we are used to (the red pepper sauce helped). Also had the patatas brava. Sauce was really good. But what we really came to try was paella. We had the seafood one and thankfully THAT was on point!! Loads of flavor and delicious!!! Our server was excellent as well.”

“Food was made to order! Chicken was flavorful. Loved the sides we got mashed potatoes which were rich and buttery, fry’s were well seasoned. The chicken bites were dry tossed in the warm classic rub which was flavorful and had a hint of warmth. Jose was great at helping us select items from the menu.

“This hotel is perfectly located roughly equidistant between O’Hare and Wrigley. Depending on the time and day, you can get a very reasonably-priced Uber ride to either location. It is also within walking distance of several great restaurants. Le Meridian is clean and modern, and in a very safe area. Our room on the second floor was also very clean and modern. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downsides: no free coffee in the morning, a bit noisy at night, and the mattress is so comfortable, it makes me realize how uncomfortable my mattress is at home!”

“We visited Blackwood BBQ at the Mart yesterday and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, but the staff were incredible. My brother is deaf, and Darnell and Demetrius were patient and helpful, communicating with him directly rather than looking to me for help communicating with him. This seems like a small gesture, but it's a really big deal for us and we appreciated their kindness.”
