“This is absolutely a one of a kind experience! My mother and I did the “Decadent Omakase” as it was our first visit. Lee, our waiter was amazing. All of the staff that helped us were so informative and kind! The flavor in each selection was beyond this world. It was pricey but worth every single penny. I have never had a better experience in my life. The Omakase was EIGHT COURSES. Every one being perfectly curated. I cannot wait to go back.”

“We went on a Sunday early evening. Restaurant was not as busy as I expected. I could have just walked in without reservation. Food was great service was great. Hostess brought an allergy reference guide to table, which was a very nice touch! Drinks are fantastic with a variety of cocktails and wine list. Try the dates and the patatas bravas. We ordered the seafood paella and it was fantastic.”

“The largest of the BlackBerry Market installations and the one I gravitate towards the most; while both the Glen Ellyn and LaGrange locations are charming, the Oak Brook building is more impressive, with higher ceilings, a gorgeous amount of light due to the ample windows, and a great mix of different seating options. I’ve been to BlackBerry market to simply grab a quick bite after running errands in the area, but I’ve also come here with a larger group of friends for relaxed brunch. No matter the occasion, I’ve never been disappointed with the food! It hits every time— my special shoutout goes to the Italian Wedding Soup, as well as the Chicken Avocado Club! I always gravitate towards those dishes and they never let me down.”

“I am giving them a 1 star rating for many reason. I went here for the first time last night to celebrate my 11 year anniversary. We called 2 weeks prior to set up reservations. We got to the restaurant 20 mins before our time. Got in 10 mins after our reservation time and got a table literally right in front of the kitchen. I can’t tell u how many time my chair got hit by people walking by people who worked their people just walking. At one point I kept trying to flag down any waiter so we could get our check and go. For how much I spent I was expecting something completely different and not so cluttered they have way to many tables to close together there is no walking room. If u have a wheelchair forget about coming to this restaurant. The food was decent for the price I paid although I didn’t want to complain cause it took 40 mins just to get our food in the first place. My steak was over cooked. U would think it with it being a steak house they know how to cook it”

“If you are looking for an Indian restaurant that is good and affordable this is a place to try. My partner and I got the variety tray which includes rice, salad, chana masala, naan, chicken, and lamb. We had the chicken in korma curry which was so flavorful. The naan bread was so flaky and light. The food was fresh and tasty. If you want dessert, I recommended the mango lassi and the galub jamun. They are like sweet donuts in fresh and airy whipped cream. Overall all the food was great. Would come back.”

“I am in sheer awe of how amazing this order was! The quality of the chicken sandwich has practically revamped my rating scale for food moving forward. On my previous 1-10 scale, this legitimately would have been a 15. The fried boneless thigh was juicy and tender beyond compare, with a spice and flavor profile that blew me away. The Cole slaw was crispy, flavorful, and inventive; a perfect accompaniment. The pickles are astounding (I don’t know but I feel like they are made in-house). I swapped the sauce for the hot honey ranch and it was delectable and scrumptious.

By far the best fried chicken sandwich I have ever had.

The fried corn bread was equally astounding, crispy little perfect pillows that explode with a homey feeling that echoes through the meal.

I would like to personally thank the staff of this excellent establishment, and I will ABSOLUTELY be in for a dine in as soon as I’m able. Each and every one of you has made my whole week. Thank you from the bottom of my heart”

“This is literally just a Starbucks. A very fancy Starbucks in a very fancy hotel with a very fancy name but if you are trying to find a non-chain coffee place, this is not that. Still good though!”

“This hotel is perfectly located roughly equidistant between O’Hare and Wrigley. Depending on the time and day, you can get a very reasonably-priced Uber ride to either location. It is also within walking distance of several great restaurants. Le Meridian is clean and modern, and in a very safe area. Our room on the second floor was also very clean and modern. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downsides: no free coffee in the morning, a bit noisy at night, and the mattress is so comfortable, it makes me realize how uncomfortable my mattress is at home!”

My brother is deaf, and Darnell and Demetrius were patient and helpful, communicating with him directly rather than looking to me for help communicating with him.
