“We really like New Rose Catering. We regularly order their weekly meals and each one has been very good. My picky eating kid really likes their food too. The meal comes in a half-pan and includes 4 very generous portions. Recently we had chicken parm with pasta. The meal also includes a large salad with a tasty dressing on the side. It's a very good value. The meals are delivered warm to our house around dinner time. We usually pop them in the oven for 10 minutes and then dig in. Recommended.“

“Our garden club used Unforgettable Edibles for our annual Christmas party . The food was outstanding, and super tasty ( especially the lemon chicken). The butternut squash was superb. Our contact ( Careen) great customer service skills, and was friendly. Also women owned business, very important. Definitely will order for our next Christmas party.“

“Naveen's Cuisine is amazing! This is hands down the best cooking class I have taken from booking the appointment to cooking to leaving the class! Naveen's establishment is beautiful and equipped with everything you need! I have now taken 2 classes and would go back 10 more times. We happened to have Chef Amy both times and she is super knowledgable, helpful, fun and a great teacher. Naveen was teaching a class in the other kitchen (there are two kitchens there) and he made sure to pop over and interact with our party as well. He is super personable and very accomodating as well. “Ovy Signature Catering is the best of the best when it comes to wedding catering! From start to finish, working with Ati, Ovy and the rest of the team was such an enjoyable and seamless process. We could tell immediately how much they care for the couples that they work with and there was no doubt in our mind we made the right decision by working with them! Upon our first meeting they took the time to get to know us, our cultural backgrounds and used the details to put together an incredible wedding tasting menu. We have not gone a day since our wedding without someone telling us how incredible the food was! The entrees were served hot, timely and tasted even better than we had remembered it. We were even told that the presentation was like it was served at a gourmet restaurant - it truly was!Ovy Signature Catering is the best in the game and I would recommend them over and over again to anyone throwing a wedding! “Wow! We loved these guys. Our venue sent us a list of recc'd caterers and I am so happy we went with Amazing Edibles. Firstly Remedy, Sarah Ann and Andrea were super responsive, totally knew all their stuff and were incredibly respectful of our budget and desires. The tasting with them was fun and Very tasty and I can't thank them enough for how our wedding went last weekend. We got to the venue and honestly everything was done and done better than I could have imagined. They flipped the room after the ceremony and I can't get the picture of how beautiful it looked out of my mind! They know how to set a gorgeous table even with our sort of minimal decor. The lead greeted us and asked us only necessary questions and then just got it done which was a godsend because of all the chaos of our families and wedding party etc. We came back to the private room after our photos and there was a gorgeous plate of appetizers and our signature drinks there waiting. All of our guests told us how amazing the food was, bar staff was great, and not a single thing was out of place or late or off. At the end of the night them or the venue staff Both? (they worked in tandem with Ovation, Chicago) handed us a box of all our stuff rounded up from everywhere and thank god they did because by midnight I dunno if we would have been super able to find it all ourselves! Absolute professionals who know exactly how to cater an amazing party. Our venue was super happy that we chose them because they love working with them too and it's clear to see why. They took all the stress out of all those small things you don't even think to think about and I can not recommend working with them enough. Thank you all again!“

“It's a shame that there are so few of these delis left in the area; there used to be three or four along a couple of miles of Archer down here (including Bobak's), but I guess the demographics no longer supports them. It was a joy to find this place by accident.We go to this tiny place mainly for the beet borscht, bigos (to DIE for!), and pierogis. I smiled when I noticed they actually have wooden barrels of kapusta and pickled cukes wedged into a rear corner.They have all different kinds of fresh pierogi and, for such a small space, a pretty good sausage/meat selection. I know very little about East European sausage names, but it would probably be wise to call ahead if you are looking for a certain kind.“

“I am an Italian beef enthusiast. Possibly even an aficionado. This was perfection. Perfect beef - awesome giardiniera. Maybe the best I've ever had on both counts. Lean, tasty, and juicy and the hots were fresh tasting and vibrant. Supreme tamales - as good as Tom Toms, old brand. Necessity for an old school beef place. Actual cut potatoes for fries! Italian ice solid. The owners were there (husband / wife) when we visited, which was very nice. I wish this was near to me because I'd probably never go to another beef place again!“

They were easy to talk to and also incredibly accommodating. It made the whole wedding process that much smoother. Not only do they have a remarkable team, but the venue itself is a magical oasis. My husband and I knew we wanted to do great and delicious mexican food for our wedding and we were struggling to find someone who could do that in a large venue setting, and was willing to travel to Janesville, Wisconsin. I found Rossy through tons of research online and so happy I did! She is so incredibly kind and we enjoyed taking the drive to Chicago where she cooked right in front of us a variety of options to try for our wedding.I know that my husband and I probably over communicated often in the 9 months leading up to the wedding with tons of questions and making sure all would go right. She was so patient and kind, communicated with us as we needed, and made sure we were confident with the day of.The day of was amazing! The set up of the food was great for a buffet for 220 people! “I have worked with Jewell many times since 2015, this was my first time using "Jewell To Go Catering" and the service and quality is just as high level. Most recently used for a cold serve lunch of 3 proteins, salad and starch for 20ppl - everything was great. The sauces did not have much punch to them, they were super mild, but I thought this was ideal for a business lunch where everyone had to be comfortable in a long meeting following eating without getting to brush their teeth, etc.“

“Twice a year for the past two years, orders have been placed to stock up on the most amazing gluten free pizzas and empanadas from Cassava. The texture of the cassava dough is perfect. When cooked correctly, the outside crust offers an amazing crispness, while the warm inside bread is soft and chewy. The fillings and toppings are plentiful and taste amazing. “That salmon salad is so, so good! It’s not just a hunk of bone-in salmon, so you actually get to have it with every bite. I got the raspberry vinaigrette to go with it—it’s crazy good. “We have been coming to Helfeld’s since they opened and beyond the amazing food (lox and bagels are to die for) the owners make this place even more phenomenal. The father daughter duo clearly loves what they do and it shines through in their food. They are featured at the Holocaust Museum’s “I’ll have what she’s having” exhibit which goes into the history of Jewish Delicatessens and their importance in America. The lox and bagel here is the highlight of our week!“

“We were in the area and remembered that Two Chefs was down the street. We have emotional ties to this restaurant because they catered our wedding in 2011 and we were very impressed with their food. The waitress greeted us at the door and was very professional, polite, and well dressed. My husband ordered the chicken pot pie, it was very flavorful. The chicken was very tender and the crust was flaky like you would expect. I ordered the 1/2 chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli it was so delicious and brought back memories. We will be back for sure when we are in the area again. If your in the area, I recommend giving this place a try!“
