“I recommend everything on the menu. Baldarotta’s is incredible. I’m Italian myself and I’ve never had any Italian food more authentic than here. I’m also a relatively picky eater and I know with certainty that I could literally order anything on the menu and be shouting its deliciousness. And it’s even delicious as carry out or as leftovers when no longer technically “fresh.” A must try and you’ll absolutely return. We come from 40 minutes away solely to dine here.”

“Bunny’s Tavern never disappoints. We often visit before seeing shows at the Station Theatre, and get drinks after. The food and drinks were great as always, and the atmosphere makes it easy to settle in and stay longer than you planned…which we definitely did tonight, hanging out and playing the slots right up until close. What really stood out, though, was a moment of genuine kindness from the staff. Just before closing, a very elderly gentleman came in wearing his Illini gear, bright-eyed and bushy tailed, clearly thinking it was morning or game time, even though the game had long since ended. He sat down and asked for a cup of coffee, and the bartenders greeted him by name. When they gently told him it was nearly midnight and they didn’t have any coffee brewed. He was completely surprised. “You gotta be kidding me!!” One of the bartenders sat with him, spoke kindly and calmly, and then said she’d walk him home and help reset the clock in his apartment again. After what was clearly a long shift, seeing that level of patience and compassion was honestly beautiful. Great food, great drinks, and truly good people behind the bar. That kind of grace says everything about a place. I’ll be back, and I’ll be recommending it.”

“The people at this bar are all extremely kind, caring, and compassionate. I recommend going on Monday nights for the Hootenanny which starts at 8pm. Matt the bartender will take good care of you, and Clayton, Chloe, Brad, and Dan among others are extremely friendly and helpful in case you wish to try performing for yourself. Give it a try! Just bring an acoustic instrument and have fun, you can't do any worse than I did, I assure you, and I still got plenty of applause. How could I forget Keith? The master of the mandolin and sound coordinator to boot.

They usually have ~13 different flavors: I personally recommend Lavender Honey or Hops. You can get flights and samples before you try anything.

Everything was delicious and reasonably priced too. Will be returning more often!”

After a brief hesitation (I love BLTs!), I opted to order the chicken salad wrap and fruit cup. Delicious! They offer a decent variety of breakfast and lunch options with quick and friendly service. Highly recommend if you have not tried them.”

They’re only good with dipping sauce or another food item. I used to ONLY order french fries, but not anymore because they don’t taste the same. ? “I visited 25 O’Clock Brewing Company for a quick drink and had a really solid overall experience.

The vibe is very chill with an open, comfortable layout. There’s a mix of bar seating, tables, and outdoor seating, and even though there was a decent crowd, it still felt cozy and relaxed. The space also has board games available, which adds to the laid-back atmosphere. I also found the bathroom doors—made of bare wood with handwritten messages from guests—interesting and unique, though I’m not entirely sure if that’s intentional or just part of the aesthetic.

We were greeted by a friendly bartender who offered samples, which was appreciated and helped with decision-making. There was also a happy hour from 4–6 PM with $1 off drafts.

In addition to drinks, they also offer food options, though we didn’t order anything during this visit.

I wasn’t in the mood for alcohol, so I tried the Cloud Mountain kombucha instead, which I’d heard is popular locally. I was able to sample a 2 oz pour for $2 before committing, which was a nice option. The kombucha itself was crisp, refreshing, and not overly sweet—honestly one of the better ones I’ve had.

My partner tried three beers and found them decent, though nothing particularly memorable.

Overall, this is a great spot for a relaxed drink with a good atmosphere and friendly service. The kombucha stood out as excellent, and while the beers were more average, the overall experience makes it worth a visit.”

“Well we all know Boomerangs is an awesome place in East Urbana, Boomerangs supports and hosts live music and has several shows through the week and weekend. The food is great, the staff is great, the atmosphere is great. Music, Gaming, Large Tv's for sports and pool tables and again the music is great, did I mention the music at Booms? and of course the infamous boom jams, which is the best Jams around! Boomerangs Bar & Grill for lunch, dinner, music, gaming, sports and music 😍👍🤘”

This dish was spectacular with a generous portion of Maine lobster it was cooked and seasoned perfectly with truffle oil and spring onions. I absolutely loved the taste and definitely would order again. Everything looked excellent there with everything made from fresh ingredients. I’ll be returning to this establishment without a doubt.
