“We went for dinner to sit outside on the patio, overlooking the golf course,for our Anniversary. Quiet and peaceful, pretty views. A few golfers finishing their meals. Our server, Lori was very friendly and attentive. Our meals were delicious, the cook even came out to check if we were enjoying. We got a delicious treat, bread pudding dessert.“

“We played a show at the theater next to this place. Had dinner here. WOW!!!! The service was very good and friendly. But the food!! I had a huge burger with bacon, egg, and hashbrowns. It was huge and incredible. Wife had a chicken wrap, she said was incredible as well. The incredible food combined with the small town friendly atmosphere makes this place well worth the stop. “I used to go here all the time as a kid growing up in Woodstock. I was recently back in town and decided to give it another try. It completely holds up to my memory of the restaurant! What was even more exciting was what I decided to order off the menu... A sloppy joe sandwich and waffle fries! Where else can you order THAT in a drive thru??? Not only that, but the sloppy joe was sooooooo good. Big ol' pieces of onions and green peppers. Seriously well made. Not just loose meat on a bun. “$$ I need to preface my review with the fact that we at here at 5pm on a Saturday right during NCAA basketball games. Upon walking in, we noticed it was extremely loud. We had to have staff repeat things due to the fact the room was loud and they weren't. Anyway, we were seated right away and given menus. Decent selection and good specials. It took a little effort to order due to the noise but we managed. Our drinks came out right away and food came out quickly as well. Both my Shrimp Po' Boy and wife's Lobster Roll were prepared well and tasty. This is a new establishment in this location and appears some of the staff are new too given my wife was asked if she was done with a good portion of food on her plate. Another odd thing was it seemed they wanted to turn tables over quick. We were in and out in under an hour. My wife was asked about another drink, however, I was not and no mention if we wanted any dessert. Anyway, the experience was relaxing and we hope to go back when there's warmer weather to take advantage of what appears to be a large outdoor patio near the front of the restaurant.The staff was very friendly and pleasant and the area is downtown Huntley and has a very small town feel to it. Plenty of parking in the area, however if it is really busy, you may need to walk a couple of blocks.The prices are reasonable for food but a few adult beverages could bump up bill a bit.The one suggestion for management is have your staff talk louder when necessary. The wood ceiling probably doesn't help acoustics.Parking: There are a few free public parking lots within a block. The restaurant is surrounded by side streets with free parking as well as residential streets within a block or two if nothing available in immediate vicinity.Wheelchair accessibility: If memory serves, the entrance is ramp accessible but the door is not automatic.“

The bartender/waitress deserved some large tips for handling the plus 30 people in there today. I just went in to pick up three pizzas and had to patiently wait to be served. “This burger place is located in the strip mall off of Lakewood Rd & Ackman. Family run business. I only have been here 2x - I love that we have a burger joint in the area that isn't fast food . The buns are very good, soft and tasty. The burgers are yummy! My favorite is the chicken pita.“
