“We got a 16” pepperoni pizza and breaded zucchini. The total with tax and small tip was $33. Not bad and on par with other area pizza joints. This pizza was pretty good. Enough cheese and each slice had at least 1-2 pieces of pepperoni on it. The sauce was also pretty good. The only thing I didn’t like was the crust. Well it was don’t perfectly, it seems just a little chewy. But no where near enough where I wouldn’t get it again. I would recommend Duncan and Dada’s and would actually get the pizza again. My wife loves the breaded zucchini. The pieces were big, unlike other area places where it’s small pieces and all you get is breading. She said it’s her favorite breaded zucchini.We will definitely be back.Parking: Park in the front of the building I’m for easy access to pick up food. If you want to bowl, park in the back.“

“Good food and great atmosphere“

“Stopped in for carryout. Ordering was a bit confusing. We did try the brisket, and it was delicious. The sides were just OK (lots of rice, a few potatoes, garlic, some type of tomato salad, corn, and Cole slaw). They also give you lots of sauces. I would go back and dine in.“

“I tried the Fire & Grill yesterday for take out order. I ordered 6-piece wings and fries in both Grilled and fried. I can say they were equally very good. Nice size and done just right. Juicy and good flavor with plenty of tasty fries. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They informed me that the grilled wings only 4 were ready and I could wait a few minutes for the other two but offered to give me a leg and thigh in its place if I did not want to wait. I took them up on the offer and the grilled leg and thigh was also very good. I will be ordering from here again. The only thing I would say is that I did not see a bathroom available for those that want to dine in and wash your hands afterwards.“

“Today's visit was Mothers Day Brunch. So many fabulous ,fresh choices. Old favorites like bananas foster French toast and chicken tenders and Mac and cheese. Attentive staff. Stocked buffet. Full bar with great brunch cocktails. Easy peasy. ??❤Wheelchair accessibility: A few handicapped spots in front. Great area to unload by the door if you can't get one of those. It took a bit of navigation on this busy Holiday but helpful staff made it easy.“

“The staff is welcoming,, accurate and attentive. The food is fresh and prepared quickly. Prices are reasonable. Establishment was clean. There are even vegan options. I been to the restaurant on two occasions and both times, the service and food was excellent. I ordered a double turkey burger combo on my first visit. On my second visit I order the half chicken with fries. I will. continue to patron this establishment.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking available andthe staff will accommodate.“

“My friend and I stopped in at Firewater BBQ in Elmhurst on Thursday Dec. 1st for the "Granny's Lunch Box Special" which is available daily from 11AM-2PM. This was my second visit and my friend's first at Firewater. We both ordered the Angus beef brisket sandwich with a side of 3 cheese Mac & Cheese and a soda. The brisket (smoked for 22 hrs) is amazingly tender and flavorful. It was piled high on a toasted brioche bun and is served with your choice of sweet or spicy BBQ sauce or both if you like. The Mac & Cheese is sooo silky-smooth and creamy and compliments the brisket quite well. There are complimentary pickled jalapeños and sweet & spicy pickles available as well. My friend was so impressed by this amazing brisket that he placed another exact order to go to bring home. The cashier who also took our order was very friendly and polite. We told one of the chefs, Shawn, (pictured) that we really enjoyed the brisket and complimented his skills. My friend and I will both be returning to Firewater BBQ and we'll definitely be letting our family and friends know about this wonderful BBQ spot.“

“Like most, we've had a bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's Sauce in our pantry for years. I was recently tasked with finding a new place to meet up with friends. With the help of Yelp, I stumbled across Sweet Baby Ray's Restaurant. The BBQ was excellent, the Service was perfect, and the ambiance of the place is just as it should be. I'll be back again soon. “We were there with Son and Future Daughter in Law. For Catering Tasting. Also meeting her Mother and Step Father for the first time. So a little nervous but Good food always makes things easier Immediately! ?Vegetarian options: The have Salades and don't know.Wheelchair accessibility: I have MS. “I don’t do reviews often but when I say I wanted to write this review mid bite! This BBQ restaurant is sooo delicious! Juan is a pit master and a saint! We drove from Chicago to try it and they did not disappoint. Lord forgive me the Waygu beef brisket was a melt in your mouth tender I can only describe as heavenly. I regret not getting more we had samples of the smoked Turkey, tri tip, & hot chicken. We ordered the half chicken, the waygu brisket, street corn, Mac and cheese, slaw, corn bread, to go we had the rice pudding and bread pudding Delicious! I overheard chef describing a smoked gyro they do on Fridays and not a Friday will pass that I won’t think about hightailing it to Beach Ave. BBQ to try it! The experience from the entrance to the exit!! was perfect!! the menu items were fairly priced the dine in area was clean and the staff were attentive and kind! 10/10 would recommend! “Smitty's ale house is at the location of the old stores, the spirits bar not the strip club. They really did not change much from the outside. The new owners updated the bathrooms, looks like they expanded the kitchen and removed the dj booth. All probably good moves, based off of the history. The aaa staff was nice and engaging. The crowd for a bears Sunday was a lot lighter than the places previously iteration . That may be due to the bears sucking this year though. There was also less staff but enough for the limited crowd. For an ale works they had pretty standard beers on tap. Looked like only one rotating tap out of the 10 on the taps. Not a very deep option for beer needs. I do think any bar named Smitty's should have guineas on tap . I had the steak quesadillas. They were solid bar food. Overall thisplace is worth the stop but needs a bit more to stand out.“

“It's been too long, Gale Street Inn! We missed the mouth-watering ribs, the classic cocktails, the skilled staff. Well, last night we finally made it back, along with couple friends visiting from Germany, and boy, you did no disappoint! Our friends were duly impressed with the classy supper-club-like atmosphere (we had to explain "supper club"), the size and flavor of the succulent ribs, the melt-in-your-mouth salmon, and a small, but well-curated beer selection. “I have been coming to squabs for years now along with my family. They always have the most tastiest foods and my favorite is the gyro plate because it’s such a good portion that can be made into two meals if you are spreading out your meals. I came in one day 10 minutes till closing, they still made my order with much love and care, and I appreciate their service. 100% recommend squabs and trying out their menu items since there is many delicious options.“

We loved the Brisket which is moist and has a bit of delicious fat, the pulled pork is not dry but flavorful and turkey slices are just ok -maybe lacking flavor which can be dressed up with a choice of sauce.The two slices of bread could be replaced by the traditional corn bread .The coleslaw was freshly made and yum! We found the mac & cheese to be bland and is a surprise because other patrons complained about this item and feedback didn’t seem to help! The triple chocolate cake is tasty but not moist enough so it crumbles.We paid $34 and was enough for two persons.Very pleasant staff will return on Tuesdays !“
