“We went here after attending the Edgar Allan Poe speakeasy a block away. The food was wonderful! Good presentation and service, too! I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“We recommend Salt on Mass for its incredible consistency. The experience is always welcoming and forever delicious. My husband David treated us to a delightful dining experience for Valentine's Day Eve. (I love dining "off holiday" for a more peaceful pace.) We've dined at Salt on Mass many times and continue to be thrilled with our experience. We reserved through Open Table and were seated immediately with our on-time arrival. I love a table with a view of the room's comings and goings, so #41 was ideal, again. We were welcomed by our server Ryan, who explained he was also our bartender. (Love it - special insights on cocktails and wines.) He served us well, attentive but not too much so, and we loved his creative chocolate martini as our "appetizer." :-) We chose our dinner favorites - Chilean Sea Bass with delectable risotto for David and Salmon with expertly grilled asparagus for me. The portions remain appropriately generous, so we split the Key-Lime Chiffon Cake for dessert. Congratulations Johnny and crew for delivering another memory-making visit. “I loved the food and service. We had the Clobster cakes which were so fresh and delish. The greenery that looked liked decor was actually a delicious salad. We continued with the Firecracker pasta with salmon and lobster. So much meat. Everything was seasoned to perfection. I was quite impressed and will be back.“

“Met there for dinner Sunday with family. Haven't been there since it's all been redecorated and I was really looking forward to it because I used to go there a lot before that. The service was perfect everybody was helpful and friendly but I got the fried shrimp and it seemed greasy and it came with rice and that seemed pretty greasy or oily. Didn't have flavor like I remember it before so I was a bit disappointed. Likely will go back it's not real close to where I am but I'd like to give it another try cuz I used to love that place.“

“I was curious about trying the place,, I kept missing the business hours,, finally ordered a Grilled shrimp Po boy,, and a Jamaican jerk loaded potato!!! Both were absolutely amazing!! The shrimp were cooked perfectly, the fries were really good, and the loaded potato was both delicious and huge!!!!!! I'll be going back for sure.“

The standard to Eat to Live, it's there, and you can taste it and feel it. The buttered cabbage...it's just great. I don't know what kind of butter they use or what they put in it, but it's 🔥🔥🔥🔥. I always get two because it's nothing like it, lol. I also got the Grilled BBQ Salmon burger, chefs, kiss cause, WHAT, LOL!!! So freaking good, like I can't even express how happy I am that they are back open. The cabbage alone will keep me coming back. I'm just excited. “Ordered Kitchen sink. Fish, Clams, shrimp and crab cake were incredibly delicious. I had an issue with the 4 percent discount for cash not being honored. I got a business card from them and emailed as soon as I got home.

They replied quickly and escalated to someone higher up and was asked to call. Spoke to Molly Caplinger for 16 minutes and she was so nice, professional and understanding. Sent me a gift card for my troubles and appreciated me bringing the issue to their attention. I will be back! This is how you do business right!!“

“Fifteen years ago, I moved to Indiana for a job with Lilly. A coworker introduced me to your restaurant. I've been HOOKED since then. I have eaten at every steakhouse within the downtown area. Your steaks were the best!! Sunday we came to have Easter lunch, as a family. The food and steaks were disappointing. We could have been eating at Applebees. The sides were not very good. One time in 15 years is okay I guess. Just not the Capital Grille I am accustomed to.“

We tried a bit of everything - dumplings, buns, fried rice, fried noodles, beef noodle soup and a beef pancake. Order it all!! We would eat here every week if we didn’t live states away. Service was excellent and the young woman is kind and helpful- like a visit with a new friend who is excited to share her culture and foods with you.
