“Fresh, hot, ready in 15-20 minutes! I've tried their calzone, pizza, Italian beef and stromboli. Wasn't a fan of the Italian beef though. If you like a little bit of spice, I highly recommend getting the spicy sauce on your pizza or calzone. It's sooooooo good!”

Prices weren't bad, but the older crowd that frequents the place had to loudly talk down about "this damn younger generation" loudly enough for me and my wife and our 3 young kids to hear. So naturally I had to defend them and I yelled at them and there selfish generation for causing so many young screw ups in my "young generation." The food was very good, the flautas, tacos, burrito, queso, and horchata was great and very fresh! Will definitely get this again!”

“Came for the first time on Sat. Drove 45 min to try this place out and we were not disappointed. It was VERY busy but all the workers worked quick and efficiently. We ordered a deep dish with low expectations (as the further from Chicago we get the pizza usually isn’t as good in our opinion) but we were very pleasantly surprised with everything about our pizza. The dough was delicious and cooked perfectly, fresh mushrooms, huge chunks of sausage and a perfectly balanced sweet sauce. The garlic rolls were a nice touch and SO good! We will most definitely be back!”

“It was our first time visiting the Viking Chili Bowl in Valpo. We called ahead for a table since we were a party of 6. Glad we did. Even though the place was packed, we had excellent, friendly service. I was impressed that our food arrived as soon as it did. The food was good. My husband absolutely loved the ham. Portions are big. My granddaughter barely got through a half on one of her pancakes. I had the fish sandwich with Onion rings. Sandwich was standard. I really enjoyed the rings. My husband and I ordered the chili to go for dinner. I have to say, I was disappointed. The only negative. The chili looked very processed. Like it came straight from a can. It was an unappealing brown color and it didn't taste good. Guess I had a sort of expectation from the restaurant's name. Again, everything else was pleasant and enjoyable outside of the Chili. We look forward to returning some time.”

“I enjoy duffys place to catch up with friends. They have reasonably prices on food and drinks. I look for their specials and special music the most.

Parking: They have a decent amount of parking in front and back. When they are really busy it can be hard to find parking”

“I typically stop in once a week and get a treat and latte. The baked goods are absolutely delicious and the latte is just what I need in the morning to kickstart my day. The workers are very friendly and puts a smile on my face each time I come in. Next time I need a special occasion cake, I will be ordering from Cake and Cups!”
