“As always, phenomenal meal at The Red Pepper! Even better when it's on the company's dime and I can order a large Bow Tie Pasta!I look forward to visiting The Red Pepper on every visit to Madison!”
“I'm never disappointed! Great pizza! The salads are plentiful and delicious. Can't turn down the tasty breadsticks and nacho cheese either. ? Very clean, and the servers are very observant and help each other out. I had two separate waitresses filling drinks the day I went.”
“I've been going here for a while and love it everytime. Even if you don't like mexican food, they have something for you. The burgers are amazing and the tenders are perfect. They have a house made hot sauce that is the best in town. It's locally owned and full of flavor and love. Highly recommended!”
“This place is a Godsend! I came here for a small meal, and ended up falling in love with the owners, the restaurant itself and all the guests. I’m here in town working with Lifetime Quality Roofing, we gave out pizzas with Belos. Now I come here to eat everyday!!! Pls stop by, try their scrumptious food, homely family atmosphere, and world class CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!”
“This place is amazing. Only open Saturday and Sunday but they are packed on those days. You know it’s good when you’re willing to wait in a line of 10 people. They continued making drinks after close to make sure they accepted all customers. When I left there were still 13 people in line for drinks!! It is a MUST TRY in Madison!Vegetarian options: The menus are huge. I’m positive you’d find something for any dietary need.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of dairy alternatives.Parking: There is a little water trough you will have to drive over but it’s not too hard.Kid-friendliness: Perfect drinks for people of all ages!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp!”
“I'm coming out of yelp retirement to praise this place for it's no-nonsense, great approach to sushi. The decor is nothing special. Who cares. The sushi is great. The taisho absolutely knows what he's doing. Half the sushi bars in KY can't even do normal hosomaki. Not only do I not have to ask for the nori to be the right way around here, I get perfectly tight rolls that aren't going anywhere when I dip it in the shoyu. The quality of fish is great, quite comparable to a decent kaitenzushi in kichijoji or even meguro. Obviously the selection won't be as diverse as Japan, but the usual stuff is all here, cut well, and fresh tasting. My standard order includes sake (salmon), hotate (scallop), hamachi (yellow tail tuna), negitoro or equivalent (a minced tuna), unagi (often a whole donburi because I f#$@ing love it!). Then based on what was excellent from that bunch, I'll order a 2nd time. My wife loves ika (squid). Taisho whipped out the blow torch for my unagi and even seared her ika with it. Most places just toss it in the microwave. TYVM, taisho. On top of all that, this place doesn't break the bank. They do need to brew their tea stronger though. Mata ne.”
“Was in town for a quick mini vacation and stopped in here for a bite. We chose the chicken bacon ranch pizza and breadsticks. Food was delicious. Definitely homemade not boxed. People were friendly and prices decent. If I were feeling more adventurous,I would have tried one of the uncommon and unique offerings.”
“Went here today for the first time in years. It was just as good as I remember and is always worth the wait. The girl who took our order was super friendly and the woman at the grill was working diligently to get everyone’s orders out. It’s always such a treat coming here!”
“The only thing lacking at this place is the size of it, and I only mention that because they had live music the night we went (2/17/24), and it was a little loud for the space. The singer was great though and a lot of fun. The bartender (Andre, I believe was his name) was attentive, and the pizza and cheese bread delicious!Highly recommend! Affordable prices as well.Note: the price per person I listed is because we had a couple mixed drinks with dinner.”
“Best Mexican I've had in a long time! A must try!Parking: Lots of space for parking.Wheelchair accessibility: HC parking in front with ramps and wide doors.”
“This guy is an amazing artist and creates an array of mixed feelings and subject matter, with his hometown as one of the central themes. I loved his work snd style. His parents own the store, so I met his mom Peggy (and she was awesome).”
“I tried the new house roasted blonde espresso today as a latte. It had a nice light slightly nutty flavor. If you love peanut butter you will love this light roast espresso!Vegetarian options: Gluten free veggie wraps.Dietary restrictions: Options for gluten free,Kid-friendliness: Kids love this place, especially the Italian sodas.”
“I had the salmon taco special today - seasoned salmon on a bed of spinach, topped with house made spicy Mango • Beet chutney and an avocado verde, sprinkled with cojita cheese. Served in charred corn tortillas! It was off the charts awesome!”
“My mom and I had lunch inside today. Everything was great. We left and shopped then came back thru the drive thru and ordered the flavor of the day concrete mixers. We waited and waited they finally came out and said they were out of that flavor. My mom ordered a different flavor and I ask for my money back. So here we are waiting and waiting again. They finally came out with my money and for my mom the flavor of the day that they said they were out of. I was so confused.? They also could of offered us a free mixer on our next visit after we had waited for such a long time but no such luck.”
“I would give this place a 100 star review if I could. Not only were the staff incredibly friendly, (even the owner came out and asked how everything was) but good brick oven pizza is hard to find, but this pizza was delicious! And very reasonably priced. I would recommend to EVERYONE.”
