“I've been going to this place for years. I live in Topeka, it's only a short ride away.I've seen some killer bands here, for very inexpensive. I dont drink alcohol anymore, but I do enjoy the free water ? .The patio always goes off, Everybody dances and the Djs have awesome energy. They keep it heated in the winter. It's just a great spot if you want to feel good and have fun. Glad we have stuff like this nearby, cuz Topeka has nothing.Thanks for all you guys do!“
“I was visiting family for the holidays. I visited the Sandbar, to watch a Chiefs game. It was awesome they hosted a potluck and had random specials for shots. Everyone was inviting and chatty. Best of all super dog friendly. I mean like, dogs off leash with no one freaking out. I loved my visit.“

The waiter came by frequently to check on us. He was patient, informed, helpful, friendly, polite, and professional.We ordered the chorizo nachos as an appetizer. Super yummy. Big enough for the 5 of us to share.I ordered the wings for r dinner as that was the special of the night and they were 1/2 of ($7). My brother and sister split the “Night Moves” pizza. My other sister got the kale and beets salad. My other sister got the fish and chips.I loved the wings. But I could only eat 4 after gorging myself on nachos. I took home the other 6 wings.My brother and sister had 2 slices of pizza leftover.My sister loved the salad and finished all of it.My other sister loved the fish and chips and we all tried them. The sauce is kind of sweet, but also has a lemony taste. She had leftovers and took it home.We really enjoyed ourselves. The heaters kept us very comfortable so we could all take off our coats outside after a while.The bill was very reasonable. I would definitely return.“

“Hosted a college party event here and I couldn't be happier with the bar and their staff. Rented out the entire place and got a classic bar upstairs with a dance club vibe downstairs. They had everything we could have wanted like special made shots, party games, and an outdoor seats to escape too.The staff were easy to communicate with and super helpful with bouncing, cleaning, and and answering any questions.The drinks were very affordable and so was the rental price.Overall I can recommend them to anyone looking for a space to host in. 10/10 will work with again. “I love this place. They serve really excellent food for a decent price. The specials are always good. They have really good burgers as well. Some of my favorite meals from here are the open face roast beef, the CFS, the smoked Carolina gold chicken sandwich. The servers are all very nice and take care of the guests extremely well.“

“A favorite local bar for me, my husband and our furbaby. They don't serve food but you are welcome to bring your own. If you want a snack they do have complimentary popcorn. It's a great place to catch a Jayhawk or Chiefs football game .... it can get loud but isn't that the point. Our favorite bartenders are Pastor Pat and Kanonni. It's always a great time!“

I had an espresso martini (fabulous) and hubby had gin and tonic which he said was excellent. I appreciate that this restaurant has lots of gluten free selections as my granddaughter has celiac disease. Our server Lucas was attentive but not intrusive.“
“We were in town for OU softball all the way from Wisconsin. We decided to try to find something to eat after the Friday 3/29 game so we drove down near the campus. We stumbled upon Papa Keno's and wandered in cuz the pizza smell drew us in. A young girl welcomed us at the counter and was absolutely the most polite and helpful young lady I've met in a long time. She helped explain the menu and offered her help in getting us what we were looking for. The food was amazing and came out quick. The outdoor seating area was awesome! Well done PK!“

“Delicious! Everything we ordered was excellent! The carne asada tacos were generous and served with a spicy red sauce that was a perfect complement to the pico. The burrito special was huge - filled with shredded chicken and topped with another delicious red sauce. The complementary chips were hot and the salsa has a nice kick. We will be back!“
“Leroys is the place to be in Lawrence if you have a big group! We just had a Delta Upsilon Fraternity Alumni party there and it more than accommodated what we needed. The location is great, awesome TVs everywhere, cold drinks and great service! The Chiefs won! This is a fantastic venue and great for Lawrence!“
“I found this place randomly years ago. Heading to the grocery store I needed a cocktail to deal with the masses. I pulled into the parking lot and walked through the door into what seemed like another world. It’s looks like just another sports themed dive bar. But witnessing the diversity of clientele that entered this place amazed me. Everyone was welcomed and welcomed with a smiling face. The staff behind the bar has never disappointed me. As busy as they get some nights. They still keep at smile on their face and banter accordingly. Watching games there is an absolute treat. Sunday chiefs games people bring in their favorite dishes for potluck. KU basketball games the owner at times will buy the bar pizza to snack on while the game plays in the background. I have meet some really interesting and like minded people there. People I consider family now. I thought of this place as an anomaly, unable to put my finger on it. Now after three years of being a loyal customer, I just call it home.“
“I have been playing pool at Emipre for about 8 months now. We live in Ottawa so we have a short drive home but it’s worth it. “I've been to Harbor Lights many times. It's my friends and my favorite lunch spot. A very homey feel. They have great food and yummy desserts. My favorite sandwich is chicken salad on a French roll. I usually have coffee or tea depending on the time and chips. I also like their salads.“
