“Food here isn’t as good as it used to be. The chicken and wild rice soup used to taste better. There’s hardly any rice. Mostly it is just cream based soup with a couple things thrown in. I’m not sure what the chunks of white stuff were. Potato maybe? The Fuji apple chicken salad was just ok. The bear claw was just ok. They didn’t have hazelnut coffee, but the decaf was good. It was freezing cold inside. We got our food quickly. The lady taking orders is super nice but too slow when there’s a crowd. People behind me got tired of waiting in line.“
“PLEASE IGNORE THE WOMAN ON TIK TOK that said the new Caramel Crumble shake is no good or not worth the money! SHE is WRONG!! It is very good and it has tiny pieces of caramel butterscotch candy all throughout the shake and very tasty! I enjoyed my shake i purchased recently.Chik fil A is one of the few restaurants left in USA that serve good quality food for your money!!!And my Mom and I eat...(order thru their drive through) at this location in Mission couple times a week and always get great food !“
“we came across this restaurant on our date night..it was so good!! from the moment we walked in we were very welcomed. The staff was so sweet and helpful. The food was delicious, and the presentation was awesome too! I enjoyed it so much. We love about 45 mins plus away but will definitely be back.“
“Tried this local Gem for the first time tonight. it was by far the best BBQ my husband and I have ever eaten. The Pork belly burnt ends & brisket were melt in your mouth. The jalapeño sausage were the best my husband has ever had. The BBQ sauce was complimented the meats and was also very good. The street corn salad and lemon slaw were unique and would definitely recommend. Planning our next outing already to this place.“
“Great! Here's a sample review:The atmosphere is warm and the staff is very friendly made great recommendations. The food was exceptional - I tried the lamb chops and it was bursting with flavors and super tender. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Mediterranean cuisine. 5 stars and can't wait to go back!“
“Been eating at their various Kansas City area restaurants for over 25 years (favorite one is 117th and Roe location). I'm a BBQ lovin' boy from a BBQ lovin' town and trust me, they're the REAL DEAL! If you want the best of the best, order a "Jumbo Z Man", then ask for "extra brisket" and SLATHER it with their original sweet and smoky sauce. Better yet, have them cut it half, add an order of bountiful french fries and share it with a friend or loved one. PLENTY of perfectly smoked brisket and fries to go around and you won't get a better BBQ meal from a better BBQ restaurant, at a better price (around twenty bucks for the whole thing), anywhere in Kansas City...or anywhere else AT ALL, for that matter!“
“Very cool room hidden off the alley. Had an Italian Beef (Jim's Beef) and had low expectations. Being from Chicago I was a bit snobby about anyone else outside of the Windy City doing an IB right. My apologies. Great sandwich. The bread was perfect. Tender, juicy meat. Giardiniera nice and spicy. My only gripe would be the lack of fries as a side. I had the jalepeno slaw and it was good, but fries are the natural side to a lovely beef. Will be back.“
“The most delicious sandwiches and pastries! If you haven't dropped by- you're missing out!!! Make sure to grab a chocolate croissant for the most decadent pastry around. The BLT was amazing and I could drink an iced latte from here everyday!“
“Great pizza. Very generous with toppings. Picture is of The Works, thin crust. Mobile website could use significant work. Images of pizzas without name or descriptions in the menu. Pull down menu for Half/half topping options is confusing. It makes sense after several tries, but could use clarification.“
“From the moment we stepped into Ragazza Food & Wine, we had a warm embrace of hospitality that marked the beginning of a truly delightful dining experience! As a first-time guest, I found the staff to be exceptionally welcoming, attending to my needs with a level of care that was both refreshing and commendable. The ambiance of Ragazza strikes a rare balance between elegance and comfort, crafting a cozy atmosphere that invites diners to relax and savor their time. The lasagna, a centerpiece of their culinary offerings, was great—layered with rich flavors that spoke to the restaurant's commitment to authentic Italian cuisine. A word to the wise: securing a reservation is advisable. Ragazza's allure is no well-kept secret, and a planned visit ensures a more seamless experience. While the vibrant buzz of conversation adds to the restaurant's charm, it can crescendo to a level that challenges tableside chatter as it was a bit noisy. Additionally, while not a dealbreaker, the absence of complimentary bread was a noted departure from tradition. Despite these minor things, Ragazza left an indelible impression on us. It's a gem that beckons us for repeat visits, and I am already looking forward to my next trip there!“
“Such a lovely experience from start to finish. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous the moment you walk in. We were seated upstairs in the coziest little nook of a table overlooking the first floor. Every host, every manager, and every server we encountered was so warm and welcoming.I had a shrimp pasta dish which was excellent but I think the real star of the show was the duck that my husband ordered which was cooked to perfection and so tender it could rival a filet mignon. We finished our meal with a strawberry rhubarb fruit tart which was absolutely divine. It’s not very often we finish a meal and say, “That was worth every penny” but it’s true —the food, service, and atmosphere were all spectacular and we can’t wait to come back. Well done!“
“This was our first time trying this place. We usually have to drive a ways to get to a quality Italian restaurant but this place is it!! It's carry out only which is fine with me. OMG, very impressed!!! My wife loves lasagna and is very picky so I was reluctant but she thought it was marvelous! I had the swedishish meatballs in garlic cream sauce and it was unbelievable!! Portions are big, delicious, and reasonably priced. We'll definitely be going back!“
“Hubby and I stopped for pizza this week at Dewey's. Great crust! Plus you get to watch the guys "throwing the dough." We ordered it our way: sausage, mushrooms, & carmelized onions, with red sauce (you can choose white or pesto, too) . We liked it just fine, I would have preferred an Italian sausage, crumbled, not sliced. And more of each topping. But it was fine. The inside of the restaurant was so nice. Lots of space and a bar you can sit at. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to come back.“
“Love Johnnys, always come here when visiting family in KC. We love the small atmosphere the wait staff is always very friendly and helpful and always refills the drinks quickly. The food is great, the pasta has a great taste and is so tasty. Haven't had a bad meal, and been coming for quite a few years.“
“We were staying at the Hampton Inn downtown and were looking for a good restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. The city market area has about a dozen restaurants to choose from, so we chose this one. It was an excellent choice. The restaurant is very bright due to having a lot of windows, as well as many light fixtures inside. We started with the shrimp toast appetizer, and it was outstanding. It contained toasted pieces of baguette covered in gold shrimp, moray, chives, Sriracha, nuox Cham cauliflower, and sesame crunch. I could just eat that dish again for my dinner. For entrees, we had the Bahn MI sandwich and the grilled quail. The Bahn MI consisted of pork meatballs, bacon pate, pickled vegetables, chili aioli, banana ketchup, chili oil and cilantro. It was very flavorful but a little spicy. My husband had the grilled quail. He loved it. It was accompanied by ginger-lime fried rice. We would definitely return.“
“The food, service, and ambiance were amazing. It is a great place to enjoy some college sports or major games. The wings are the best in the Metropolitan area. They come out fresh and ready to go. Come enjoy a great experience at The Peanut in Overland Park, Kansas“
“Stopped by here for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised. The ingredients and flavors were definitely Italian, but had a Mexican twist. For example, the Piadas are a wrap sandwich, but they also have “Piadadillas” which were the piadas in the form of a quesadilla. The food was tasty and fresh and the service was good. But the main thing I liked was that they offer something new and different. Prices were very reasonable also. Oh, and they brought a basket of Italian bread and piada chips with dipping oil when you sit down.“
“First time here and was surprised on the flavor. I had the chefs special that came with a rainbow roll, shrimp killer roll and chimichang. Chimichang was not for me but had good was not horrible. The Daikin roll was good and tasted fresh. Yellow tail hand roll is a must get. Red dragon flavor was a hit as well. My wife had the chicken katsu and the breading was light and delicious. The pork gyoza is a must get for a starter . So when we are back up I. The KC area this is a must come back to.“
“The staff are so friendly and helpful here! They make you feel like you are at a nice, full service restaurant. Food is always yummy, good sized portions & they don't skimp on meat on the sandwiches. Quick service & the restaurant is always clean.“
“Hands down a vibe of its own. Love everything about it! My tab was about 60$ for 3 drinks and 2 plates. I ordered the chips and queso and the chicken tenders. And some Tito’s and club sodas. The pricing isn’t bad and the staff was super nice! Definitely going back!“
“We went on a Saturday night and were happy to have live good music and a mixed age crowd. There were not alot is staff for a packed crowd but wow they were killing it and service was super quick from the bartender to the server. Super fun vibe.“
“Calamari was really salty. We sent it back. They were very cordial and took it off the check.Mark's Chicken Parmesan was good (3 out of 5) but the chicken was really dry.I had the Shrimp Fettuccine. It was bland. I took most of it home and "Leah-ized" it the next evening. Much better!!Our girl, Joy, was Fabulous!! Attentive, yet respectful of our space. Ask for her!Lesson learned...don't go on a Saturday night after 5:30... Unruly, screaming kiddos. Unless, of course, you have kids because you'll feel right at home!!!“
“My Guy friend introduced me to this place! I was skeptical at first but; he was right the food is healthy & delicious! It’s like a THAI TAKE on CHIPOTLE! That YUM YUM SAUCE is superb! This place is especially great if you’re on a diet; feels & tastes guilt free!I will be visiting more!“
“I've done a couple of online orders for lunch through Jason's and the food and service is incredible! My pickup orders are ready within 5 minutes, even when ordering during the lunch hour rush. Staff are friendly and quick. The food is healthy and full of flavor. I'll definitely be ordering from here again! And maybe someday I'll order and eat inside the building lolVegetarian options: They have an option for most of their bowls and wraps that remove the meat from them making them vegetarian friendly. If I was still on a vegetarian diet, I would recommend this place.“
“Incredible friendly staff. Since they make the pizza to order it is hot and fresh which is awesome! Pricing is simple and competitive. My partner is gluten sensitive (causes headaches) and the staff was trained and responsive. Will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: Two gluten free alternatives!“
“Hands down the best burger for $7 in Kansas City. Its worth twice that. Got the double and I always ask for extra pickles … this thing was destroyed with pickles in the best way possible.. layers on the burger and under the burger. The fried burger was surprisingly tasty - and not as heavy or messy as I’d imagine. Very well put together.Super friendly service, quality food, and attention to DETAIL. Burgers were to-go and I wasn’t able to dig in for probably 30 plus minutes after getting home. The ketchup and mayo were on the side - meaning my burger stayed perfect and not soggy until I was ready to eat it.Holy grail of burger simplicity.“
“Creative pizzas! Always very good flavor for any pizza. Salads are large and go really well with pizza. Other options too like. Italian dishes like spaghetti and meet sauce! Their bread sticks are fair and that is the only complaint about I have about this pizza place!“
“I stopped by to grab a bite in the afternoon probably about 30 minutes before close, so I was a bit worried that the quality of service or food might be lacking a bit, but man was I wrong. The guy working the counter (who I assumed was the owner) was exactly the type of guy you want to have working with customers at a small business. He was outgoing and funny and just generally radiated a certain dad energy that lit up the place. He also gave me a free drink upgrade and a slice of delicious pound cake for no charge which I thought was pretty great. My sandwich was also delicious, and just like everyone says, the bacon is amazing. I will definitely be coming back.“
“I had the fried chicken sandwich. I have Celiac Disease and haven't had a fried chicken sandwich in about 10 years. It was amazing! I love that the whole menu can be made gluten free. Service was friendly and helpful. I can't wait to come back to try more of the menu!“
“Yet another visit with customer deLIGHT on display. My choices: granola bowl = yum golden latte = delicious Amelia, staffer = perfect example of customer deLIGHT. Ambiance is soothing, fig plant & sunshine add to the warm welcome of staff. Thank you for providing a terrific experience and vibe for your customers!“
“Ordered some boxes of sandwiches for delivery for a workshop and the food was great, they called in the AM when they opened to confirm details and agreed to come a little earlier than I could request on the online form so I could get it set up in time for the lunch. Andrew arrived on time and set up for me. Always love their food!“
“I was very pleasantly surprised by Bibibop in general. This is the only location I've ever visited, but it seems good. The staff has been dutiful and efficient whether going through the line or doing carry out.If you've never been to a Bibibop, it is good Asian food done in the same style, and at a similar price point to Chipotle. They have lots of non meat options, and interesting toppings. I avoided them for a long time, because I assumed it would be pricey and bland corporate Asian food. It might be a little corporate, but it isn't pricey or bland. At least not at the time of this review.“
“I just went to this store for the first time yesterday and i would definitely go again. The customer service was seriously great, especially during a busy time at the mall. The food came out quickly and the prices were reasonable. All the food was delicious too!“
“FOOD: Was SO delicious. We made a special request and ordered Deluxe Boxes, which included a sandwich, chips, pickle, condiments, and a cookie. Lots of food! And the sandwich was SO good.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐SERVICE: Was exceptional. Kristen went out of her way, to ensure we were taken care of and food was delivered. Even more so, given all the events going on downtown... and we had a very large order for a crowd of people.?????ATMOSPHERE: was n/a for us. But the cheerful customer service at delivery, made my day!Highly recommended. And I will **definitely** be letting others know about them.“
“Just had lunch catered from Thelma's. It was AWESOME! Very well liked by the meeting attendees & Owner. Had the slider sandwich tray, Pasta Salad, Green Salad, & Cookies, of course. This is a great organization. I was glad I was able to include a non-profit in our office catering. Thank you, Thelma's staff & volunteers.“
“Y’all need to go see these decorations! This specific place has become such a comfort for me due to the staff and care into the store itself. Genuine guys there all around, amaaaazing food. Strong community vibes and I think it’s wonderful!“
“Ambiance of the restaurant was amazing. Small and compact but it felt homey.Service- our server was attentive and took care of us wellFood- For appetizers we had their shumai, soft shell crab and Tako-su (octopus in ponzu sauce). Shumai and soft shell crab were mid but wasn’t bad. Tako-su was my absolute favorite! For main course I had their salmon, yellowtail and scallop sashimi and all tasted fresh and delicious! Last for dessert we had their pink lady roll (cheesecake fried sushi) which was pretty good!Overall, we had a good experience! The food, ambiance and service was great!“
“First, they have a pretty solid gluten free crust that even the nonGF people in my family enjoy.Second, their service is fast! In a Sunday night our to go order was ready in 10 minutes when they had almost a full restaurant.Third, they have a rewards program. Who doesn’t love free food? Not me, love me some free food.Only downside, the GF crust doesn’t absorb grease real well. Had some pizza grease all over my hands while eating, but that’s part of the experience I guess.“
“We get carry out here around once every two months. 10/10 every time. Large round table, no black olives, add jalapeños. Sometimes a second pepperoni pizza. Perfect taste, always done hot when they say. It's the only place we eat that has "cracker crust" that we like. Not only do they have it at the proper feel, but the right thickness where it reheats well on a pan. Fantastic leftovers, this pizza.I in particular am picky about topping size, and I think it's ideal here. Without specific names, bigger than bargain frozen pizza, smaller than grocery store made pizza.“
“I’m a big fella, so I like to think I know what I’m talking about when I talk food. This place quietly has the absolute best burgers in Kansas City. I’ve never ordered anything from here and left disappointed. It’s all phenomenal. The staff is the absolute best, the cook is a gift from whatever religion you believe in, and the music is always 1000%. I might never leave my job in building 34 just so I can keep eating here. If you haven’t tried it, do yourself a favor and mosey in. You won’t regret it.“
“Unwaivering dominance of the chicken sandwichVegetarian options: Salad!Dietary restrictions: They will customize orderParking: Small weird parking lotKid-friendliness: I've never not seen a kid hereWheelchair accessibility: Premium parking for wheelchairs“
“great food, but we walked in and sat at the bar. then was told we had to get up and walk back to the front to order anything. 1st strike. then after going through that useless and time consuming exercise in futility (they had a card machine at the bar which I then was rang up on later for another drink, doesn't making everyone wait in line to order take more time? yes, it does. ), sat down back at the bar , and only wine and sangria? maybe you all should try and be a real bar too, it's not hard to make some whiskey drinks and have beers . 2nd strike. But the food is good.“
“Planet Sub has been my go to favorite hot sub shop since I was a kid. I absolutely love "the experience" sub, it has grilled chicken, bacon, pepperoni, pepper jack cheese, jalapeños, cream cheese and a chipotle sauce. The bread is homemade daily and it shows because I've never had anything like it before. They offer two different sizes of sandwich which included the half which is about 8 inches and the whole which is about 16 inches. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach and I think I can eat a whole but I ended up with half a sandwich left. Keep that in mind when ordering. Overall this is a must try sandwich shop if you haven't been before.“
“We like Jose Peppers and Cactus Grill and have been to several locations. We wanted some Mexican food and had never been to the Mission location. Our servuce was great. Our food was great. We really liked the layout of this store and may make it our favorite. Its a big place and was very busy but we had no complaints.“
