“I came in on a Thursday afternoon I first realized they have a good selection of home sauces more then I expected. I had a hard time choosing between the 6 wing meal and the chicken and waffles but I went with the 6 wing meal and I got the Korean BBQ sauce on the wings and buffalo dipping sauce. The food came out in like 4 minutes (food is cooked to order). When I say this I mean it, the Korean BBQ is the best Korean BBQ sauce I've had from a fast food place and I'm surprised they had it. the skin on the wings was a little tough but that's just a preference thing, the sauce was so tangy, sweet, and spicy I loved it. The only thing I didn't like was the fries, the texture and crunchiness of them was good but there was barely any seasoning on them and they tasted plain I was expecting more flavor when I saw them dusted in whatever they put on their fries.I am definitely coming back to try the chicken and waffles and other sauces“
“Just visited for the first time the other day. The atmosphere was really cool. I loved how they decorated. The staff was super friendly and the food was really good. The only con is that there isn't a whole lot of seating during the lunchtime crowd, especially for one person. They have tables set for 4 or more, so I just decided to take my order to go, so I didn't take up a table that a larger group could sit at.“
“My friend and I were starving and were going to settle for some mediocre fast food. Chickn n Waffle was right next to us, so we decided to give it a shot. The expectations were low because the building looked outdated and was right next to a weak dispensary. Upon looking it up on google, I was surprised to see it had 4.7 stars! Could it be a stoners paradise? Or could the food really that good? We ordered boneless chicken wings with the Asian chili sauce. The young lady taking our order was as sweet as a belle and had us pull aside for our wings to be freshly fried. A nice gentleman brought out our order with a smile and we unveiled the contents of the takeout container in the parking lot, only to be pleasantly surprised with the portion size and shiny glaze on the inside wings with sesame seeds and thick crispy fries. We tried a fry first and it was crunchy on the outside and a pillow on the inside. Immediately taken back with how perfect the fries were. One dunk into the ranch with a boneless wing, it headed straight for me mouth. Jesus must’ve been in that kitchen, because that was the juiciest, freshest, perfectly seasoned, most amazing chicken wing I’ve ever had. I will come here again. Enjoy. “I’ve had Gus’s at one other location before and was happy. This location keeps right up and served up delicious chicken, beans, and Mac and cheese. I also really love the fried okra here. The waitress was accommodating for my elderly grandfather who doesn’t move well and sat us near the entrance. My drink never got below half full. Loved it so much I bought a tshirt. Hopefully I can come back sometime soon with my whole family. This was way better than Joe’s bbq next door.“

As the owner will tell you "giving the people what they want is what keeps a line forming at his window." “We have been to strips several times, and on a few occasions brought friends with us. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff members are so friendly and helpful. I love the chicken strips and the honey mustard sauce. My son and husband were so happy when we found strips because they LOVE the gluten free chicken nuggets, fries and onion strips. They are all delicious.“

“Was at Chic fil A by Oak Park Mall this week. Waited on by a gentleman named Cesar. He was so polite and kind. Stood out because of his Customer service plus attitude. After eating and still talking with my friend, he came over and offered to take out trash. Again, over the top customer service! As we exited he thanked us for coming in! In a world where fast food restaurants cannot keep enough staff, this man shines like a gem! I hope he gets the recognition he deserves! He IS what brings customers back! Great job Cesar!! “A true hole in the wall. We stopped in close to closing after a day at the zoo. The guy was still very friendly. We had the mac &cheese stuffed turkey leg, fish, and wings. It was all delicious. The only complaint is the turkey leg or mac & cheese was a bit too salty for all our tastes. The rest was spot on with seasoning and was hot and crispy. The turkey leg was still totally something I will get again, ill just get two bottles of water.“
