“I grew up in the Parish and Ben's was a top contender in the lunch and or dinner time line up. Their pizza is good, the muffaletta is good, my all time favorite is the potato poboy with gravy on the side.

We work in New Orleans East and made the trip for a group lunch time order. I haven't eaten from there in years and let me tell ya they did not disappoint. The food was just as I remember it. Quality, delicious, they got us in and out. The hospitality was on point. Thank y'all for doing what y'all do best. Keep up the great work A+”

“Very Authentic! You can still get a burger 🍔 if you are basic 😃. I recommend the sopa de res (beef soup). The staff is great and customer service to match. English is their second language so be mindful and respectful of that. Meals are prepared fresh when ordered. Hot off the stove. Instead of fries 🍟 get fried green bananas instead.”

“I have so much love for Cane and Table. My wedding reception was held at C&T in 2019 and we had literally the best time. Best food, cocktails and ambiance. The upstairs is particularly charming and beautiful. So glad we have memories there. The staff was also so gracious and gorgeous, we had so much fun sharing our favorite day with them. “Bob Boudreau and I were in NOLA for 9 nights. Three of the nights we had reservations at other places with family. Our 1st night we looked up and found Jewel of the South. We loved it so much. we asked our nephew, his medical school advisor and his wife to join us. All three lived in NOLA and had never been here. All 5 of us would definitely go back in a heart beat. “Had an amazing experience eating at Dakar NOLA. The menu was fresh, thoughtful and a great marriage of Senegalese and New Orleans flavors. The service was top notch and because it’s a relatively small restaurant, the atmosphere was intimate and relaxed. Was only passing through NOLA for 1 night and there were so many great restaurants to choose from but I’m so happy I went with Dakar. It was one of my favorite meals ever!!!”

“My husband and I went on Friday night for dinner. Could not wait to try the new menu and it was simply awesome. To start with, our sever team was Isaac and Cheyanne and they were great. We never waited for anything. The Hot Crab Claws and Foie Gras Torte for appetizers were divine. I ordered the Duck Cassoulet and my husband had the visiting fish, Sea Bass over Yakamein. While the fish was excellent, the Duck ruled the table. Thanks to the Servers and Kitchen for a wonderful meal. We'll be back.”
