“Had the opportunity to visit for dinner with a few others. The fried ribs were great and we shared the seafood nachos. The food was hot and fresh. Nice variety of menu items for everyone. The atmosphere was cool and the jukebox was a plus! Of course we had a few daiquiris as well. I'll visit again when back in the area.“

“Based on the recommendations gave Cou-yon's Cajun Bar-B-Q a try. When I arrived I met Kelani who gave me some ideas on what to try…so I ordered the Smoked Sausage Appetizer with smoky sauce and Crawfish Étouffée Over Dirty Rice with Fried Shrimp. The sausage was pretty good but not very “smoked”, the flavor closer to kielbasa and when you added the smoky sauce was a nice appetizer. The Crawfish Étouffée had solid flavor, a little kick, and the rice was a great compliment to the dish. The fried shrimp breading was nice and light, it did not overpower the shrimp flavor and was a nice addition to the dish. I also observed some of the BBQ they had being served and it looked pretty good. The ladies sitting across from me got ribs and there was no need for a doggie bag. Overall good Cajun food and excellent service from the staff there.“

There crawfish was on fire, coming from Texas, Louisiana crawfish is much more spicier. I usually can’t handle spice much but I kept on eating more and more. “Let's get this one above the Denham one. It's tied for my favorite against Central. Went on a date here, waitress was kind to us both and even let us stay past close to finish our food. “For the 7th year in a row, the company that I work for chose Randy Montalbano’s for our annual crawfish boil. Each and every year we are happy that we made that decision. The crawfish are the biggest select size available, boiled to perfection at our site, and their staff is always professional and top notch. They do a fantastic job and we can depend on them. ☺️??“

“No frills, friendly atmosphere. Just good people and great food! Ordered a 50pc wing and a few some egg rolls for my team to work through lunch, and it was hit. Without calling ahead, my order was ready in about 10 min, so it is absolutely an option in a pinch. The wings were some of the best I've had, make sure to grab some napkins! The egg rolls really surprised me, they were just as good as the one's that were served at the old Trey Yuen restaurant in Hammond. I would highly recommend everyone try it if you haven't already! “This is definitely the 'after church' spot on Sundays. We were told the wait would be 20 minutes, that turned into she forgot about us, but we didn't let that ruin our mood. Finally got a table, placed our order and waited 50 minutes before our food came out, now that didn't make us too happy. They were busy, we get it, but it's not cool to keep forgetting about your customers. We enjoyed our meal, paid our bill, tipped our waiter, and got out of there. No complaints about our food.“

“The negative: Parking lot was small; had a difficult time getting my truck out after someone parked near me while I was dining. Was also there 5 to 10 minutes before I had the waitress’s attention. The positive: Food was absolutely outstanding. Roux was perfect. Remoulade was close to world class; I’ve had it in 5 star restaurants in Vegas that wasn’t this good. “Wanted Chinese food, but it was closed so my cousin suggested trying this place out. I'm from Texas so I love tex mex and have tried a ton! I got the enchiladas and my cousin got the red fish special. Before I even tried my food I was stealing his vegetables. Super tasty, well cooked, and a good variety. My combo enchiladas were fantastic- I ate it before I even considered taking a photo. The service was awesome, my cousin never needed to ask for a refill and I never got to the bottom of mine. We added a dessert after the bill and they got it out quick. The music playing was unexpected but good fun and everyone seemed really nice. Can't wait to come back with more family!“
