“Read my full review to learn about the unexpected charge that gets added on. So the food is good, location could be better. The sign is barely visible, if you drove up at night, you wouldn't know from looking that it was a restaurant. Parking lot looks sketchy af. Tables inside are covered with cigarette burns, there's no vibe to the dining area. The food makes up for the weak atmosphere. I did find it strange that there's an automatic 15% gratuity on the check that you don't know about before ordering. That's with the owner serving, not a waitress. I normally tip 20-30% but with the unexpected tip added to the check, I didn't feel like tipping past the 15%. I get doing an automatic gratuity for tables of 4-6 people. But for just one or two people dining in? I would eat there again. But they really need to fix the place up, or at least update the sign outside to one that can be read. I like hole in the wall restaurants, but this place and the strip mall looks a bit too much like you're in DR.”

“We had to wait a good 30 minutes for our food but we ordered a tomahawk. The food was great and filling. They have a great atmosphere that makes me want to come back. I did not know they have crab legs, which isn’t on the menu but they have them. I’ll definitely be back to try the crab legs. $60 for all you can eat.”

“Kelly is the best. I live in Shreveport, but had to do my family reunion events in or around New Orleans. Food Symphony was recommended to me by my cousin. I called Kelly and she got the ball rolling. We had good communication through the planning of my Meet and Greet Event for my family. When I walked into my rented space, I was amazed how beautiful the entire set up was. I had the colors I wanted, and all the foods I had requested. The foods were beyond delicious. My family enjoyed the foods, and can't stop talking about the experience that had in Harvey, Louisiana at the Food Symphony/Timeless Moments Event Hall. Thank you Kelly and Trena. Everything was pleasing.”

“The restaurant itself is clean and spacious! Aside from that, the food is so delicious and made fresh to order! Packed with flavor, not oily or soupy. I got the honey chicken with pork fried rice and spring roll. By far the best honey chicken I have had in a VERY LONG TIME. A lot of places the breading becomes soft but here at Hawaii City, even hours later I have crispy pieces of chicken. The rice is sooo good! Quite honestly it’s the best spring roll I have had in about 10 years! Crispy outside, soft inside. The service is immaculate, the girl who runs the counter is so cheerful, always smiling and extremely sweet! We will definitely be back Hawaii City! Thank you again for a wonderful meal and wonderful service!”

“When we first entered it seemed dead and felt a little strange. But don’t fear, you’re definitely in the right spot. Mango salad was excellent, as are the various Com Tam rice dishes. Come for the chaotic atmosphere, and stay for a fantastic meal!”

“I stopped by this burger spot on the Westbank and was seriously impressed. The burger was cooked perfectly, juicy, and packed with flavor. The fries were fresh and crispy, and the staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. You can tell they care about the quality of their food. Definitely one of the best burgers I’ve had on the Westbank. I’ll be coming back for sure!”

“Under new ownership. Same menu, different faces. Tastes the same tbh but the service can use improvement. All the same equipment but a new, far more convenient point of sale card machine. The fountain drink machine needs to be calibrated, there waa way more soda water rather than syrup. All minor inconveniences that im sure will be remedied. I am hopeful these guys can live up to the legacy of the nice couple that ran this place as long as I can remember. I'll check back in a few months.”

“After getting into town late and checking into my hotel(Hampton Inn directly behind the restaurant), I realized how hungry I was. It was relatively late for dinner but I checked out Ditali's menu, saw that they were still open and decided to order the Calzone. I ordered online without any issues. Maaann....was I in for surprise. One of the legit best meals I've had in a long time! The portions are huge and the marinara was excellent! The staff were very friendly and were very helpful when I picked up! I will most certainly be recommending and dining with Ditali's again!”

“We purchased a gluten free cake for a family birthday due to our daughter having celiac disease. The cake was incredible and she experienced no stomach issues whatsoever! We were honestly shocked at how moist the cake was and how much flavor it had. We were still snacking on it days later and it did not dry out. Highly recommend!!”

“I recently tried Savvy Sliders and was genuinely impressed. The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and made to order, you can really taste the quality in every bite. The sliders were juicy, well seasoned, and perfectly portioned, and everything came out hot and delicious.

One thing that really stood out to me is their commitment to accommodating different dietary needs, they even have a separate kitchen dedicated to preparing halal food. That level of care and consideration is rare and makes a big difference for customers looking for halal options.

“One of the few 24hr bars on the Westbank or even in the metro area. There's random nights for food (it's *always* good), service is friendly, there's 2 pool tables with good competition. Drinks are reasonably priced (as of yesterday most beers are $2.50-3.50) and Steve the owner is a hoot.

Only downside for me is smoking is allowed inside and the ventilation system can't keep up... otherwise I'd go a lot more often. Fun local dive to visit!”

“I always go to frostys and I never had any complaints. I went there last week to get a shrimp and chicken salad and it had hair in the salad. I just threw it away, I would suggest you guys wear hair nets because nobody wants somebody else’s hair in their food”

“This place has been here for a very long time. Stopped by today and had 6 tacos, quesadillas, and papusas. It was still HOT when I got home and tacos were filled with meat. Staff were very nice. Everything was great! Very fresh, authentic, and filling. Will definitely come back and recommend to others.”

This is how I grew up… this place, as a child, were the happiest moments in my life with my family and friends. Life happens. You don’t see people and they go away like the seasons… but I need to go back to the 504 soon. I miss this place so much and all the reviews and pictures make me reminisce of my childhood… when I was innocent and had less responsibilities… my parents were great for spoiling me for the rest of my life on Cantonese cuisine. There is and will never be anything better… there was a place in, Utah that came close. I do believe a family member of the owners started his own restaurant. Their Lo Mien is just as good.”

“The potato I had from here made me sleepy it was so good and full. Prices are a tad bit high. I had a roast beef on bun with the potato. Overall the potato needed a little more seasoning as well as the roast beef. It was packaged nice and full but when you eating roast beef you want the seasoning to chase it. To say I had a seafood potato it shouldn't have been bland. I would dine again for a different experience.”

“This is the best pho in louisiana. Broth is perfect flavor, look at that color! They also give a lot of meat. Rice dishes are also good, I like the porkchop. Also the hidden gems are the salt and pepper calamari, salt and pepper chicken wings, and salt and pepper shrimp. The flavor for these dishes are called rang muoi in vietnamese. Service is nice and straight to the point, that’s how you know the food is good”

“We decided to try out Chinese Kitchen Express to see what the hype was about, and it definitely delivered! We actually went inside and although it was really small it was clean and neat. There were 2 order kiosks and multiple decors pertaining to Bruce Lee. We ordered their Boneless Chicken Combo with an Egg-roll & Shrimp Fried Rice ($12.95) & their Beef and Broccoli Combination with Double Shrimp Fried Rice ($14.95). The portions were HUGE! The taste was so delicious as well. For the price, this was definitely a steal. Of course, China Doll is still on my favorites, but don’t sleep on Chinese Kitchen Express. It’s definitely worth the try!”
