“Thus restaurant never misses. From the appetizers to the drinks to the desserts, you won’t be disappointed. Recommend trying the chargrilled oysters! The outdoor seating is beautiful as well. Our server sierra went above and beyond to take care of us. Can’t recommend it enough.“
“Absolutely amazing. We went through New Orleans in hopes of finding a good meal however it was so busy we couldn't find parking. So on our way out we searched Slidell LA to see if we could find some good food. I am so extremely I couldn't find a place to park because Jazzy pets PO-Boys is definitely on my top 5 list. I've traveled all over the USA and I would take a trip back to Slidell LA just to eat here again. You have to try the red beans and rice.“
“Wow this place was great!! We were driving cross country on I10 and randomly took the exit nearby. A little search online lead us to T Leblanc's. We split the half Muffaletta and paired it with a cup of corn and crab chowder. Finished with their lemon merengue pie. Wow everything was fabulous. The dining room was clean and comfortable with a casual vibe. The service was great too. Definitely take a few minutes to find this place sometime!!“
“The food was very good. It was hot and omg...tasted soooooooo good! I had the French toast and the pasta. They were delicious. My aunt had chicken and waffles and she enjoyed them. I can say the strawberry lemonade tasted like kool aid. We waited 20 minutes for it and it was weak an watery. It's ducked off a bit, so you gotta be paying attention to see it, but it's worth the hunt. The service was excellent. I can't remember the server's name but he was really nice. The atmosphere wasn't "bad;" it was just basic. The food makes you not care at all. You've gotta eat here!“
“I recently dined at Phil's Marina Cafe and had a chance to try a range of their seafood offerings. For my meal, I chose the Snapper Pontchartrain and crab meat au gratin, while my husband opted for the shrimp platter. Right off the bat, I was impressed by the portion sizes, which felt generous, especially when considering the pricing. The food itself was delightful, with flavors that were rich and well-balanced, truly showcasing the quality of the seafood. Our waitress throughout the evening was attentive and efficient, contributing positively to our experience. However, there was a minor hiccup when my husband was given a dirty glass for one of his refills. Although our waitress was apologetic, it seemed that was the full extent of addressing the issue, which was a bit disappointing. The ambiance of the restaurant was satisfactory, though our seating situation was less than ideal. Being placed next to the bathroom due to the size of our party (we were 5) detracted slightly from the overall atmosphere. We had hoped to be seated in the room by the water, but it appears the restaurant has a strict policy regarding not pushing tables together, as those spots were said to only accommodate parties of four.Despite these few drawbacks, the quality of the food and the attentive service (with the noted exception) would make me recommend Phil's Marina Cafe to fellow seafood lovers. The experience had its highs and lows, but the excellence of the dishes we tried would bring me back for another visit. Hopefully, next time we can enjoy the view by the water to fully round out the dining experience.“
“Fried shrimp were good, fried oysters were good, potato Salad was good, coleslaw was good, gumbo was different but good.Crab cakes have a little too much filler for me, they had a decent flavor though.I would avoid the fish, definitely not wild caught local fish, which is a shame give all the catfishermen in the area. It was kinda tasteless and rubbery. Overall decent place with friendly people, I would go back, just wouldn't get the fried fish even if it were free.“
“This is sooooooooo good! Please, please try this. Its just ridiculous!72. Deep South Gold$14.99Boneless breast stuffed with Bonnie's seafood stuffing, fried until golden & topped with crawfish sauce. Served with choice of two sides.“
“Consistently great food and service; always clean, and they recently refreshed the interior so it's looking even better. This restaurant is a popular choice, so at peak times there's usually a wait for a table, but it's so worth it! I highly recommend the Voodoo Crawfish Rolls appetizer.“
“Our first time there. I had the fried catfish and the wife the shrimp Poboy, and they were delicious. Sabrina was our server. She was knowledgeable, and took care of us. We are definitely coming back…A+ all the way…btw, don’t judge the place from the outside. Plenty of good food inside.“
“The new owners have put a lot of money into The Blue Crab restaurant, new fuel pumps, excellent outdoor covered seating, bar and band stand. We've been several times. The only reason for 4 stars is the food was warm, not hot, took a while eventhough there was only 3 tables at the time. Also the French bread is a bit soft. Crunchy po boy bread makes the meal!“
“The Chargrilled Oysters are some of the best I have had. The salads were also good. The Shrimp PoBoy is on point they let me have the ingredients on the side so I can build it to my liking. The sweet tea with lemon is delicious. Definitely a place to go to. Would definitely come back.“
“The food is delicious. We had chargrilled oysters, chicken wings, catfish nuggets, fries and swamp fries. The swamp fries have this crawfish sauce and cheese on it mmmmmThe service was good however the wait for food was long. I'm assuming the food is truly cooked to order The place is a house turned into restaurant. Not many seats available however, there is a pool table and corn hole outside to play. It's a cool spot I wouldn't mind coming back to“
“I went there for a birthday celebration. I guess you get what you pay for. No, I was just a guest. The catering place is not too big. I think we were about 40 people. The place is OK.Parking: I guess you will not have problems with parking if you don't mind walking a bit“
“Have been wanting to try this place ever since I moved to Slidell a few years ago. Recently I passed and saw a “Steak Night Thursday” banner up and thought, this is my chance! Who doesn’t like a good steak? I had not realized that KY was Kevin Young of Young’s Steakhouse. My bad. He introduced himself as “the good looking brother” and won my heart immediately with his warmth and good nature. But then came the STEAK and Oh. My. Lord. The photos cannot do it Justice. A 14 Oz trimmed, perfectly cooked rib eye with fully loaded baked potato and salad. $35. And the BEST steak I’ve had since I don’t know when. Highly recommend this Slidell institution for its rich history, fabulous location in OldeTowne, charming owner and on-point food, cooked to perfection.“
“Went for a financial meeting. After presentation was served a pre selected meal. Because of the number of attendees the staff were rushed to serve us because the restaurant was now open for regular customers. Maybe would have enjoyed it better if my first time there would have been a regular customer.“
“I wish I'd taken photos of these poboys! The crust! A delicate crisp. The shrimp was golden brown and fresh. And that roast beef poboy?! Best I've ever had. The people! You can tell they love what they do. Very welcoming.Only suggestion would be to make your own fries. We love this place ❤️Thank you ?“
“They were very busy when we visited. Got seated promptly, server was very nice AND efficient. I got a junior cheeseburger, it was still large. I would say 1/4 pound and plenty of fries to go with. It was delicious. Hubby ordered a Ruben, he said it was the best he'd had in a long time. Aside from being noisy (just lunch rush busy), it was fabulous. When we are in the area again, we will definitely stop by.“
