She then asked for the kid’s orders so she could get their food going. I’ve never been treated with such kindness and thoughtfulness when dining with kids. It made lunch really easy for us, and much quieter because the kiddos were happily coloring and playing. Upon arrival, we were met by the owner, who was able to find us a seat on the restaurants beautiful and new dining porch overlooking Lake Pontchartrain. “The Thai ribs and the Korean Chili chicken sandwich are sinful. The ribs fall off the bone every time. Corn grits are always a must. I love dining in because the drinks are really good. It's always just a tad too dark in the restaurant for me, but it's still a nice place to go if you want a decent selection of food and drink.“

They have some nice rocking chairs looking out over the lake to calm your nerves, if that doesn't work they also have 3 bars upstairs that you can "pick your poison" and chill. We got some drinks and hung out upstairs overlooking the beautiful lake and all the activities that were going on. I think our wait was over an hour, but it only seemed a short while as the view was spectacular and the conversation was great with other guests. Everyone is very friendly here. The staff was top notch and even recognized the regular customers, which I plan to be from now on. Let's get to the food... In a word - Outstanding! From the chargrilled oysters to the chili shrimp appetizers to the main course, all was well more than anticipated. The cheesecake dessert was out of this world, creamy with the best flavor I've ever had. Definitely give this place a try. You won't regret it.“
