“Great food, friendly service. You might think subs, but I've done nothing but work my way through all the great "Spanish" items: tacos, burritos, pupusas, empanadas and chicharron, which is like a super-charged bacon. :) Love their tacos al pastor as well! Also "Salvadoran enchiladas", which might be thought of as deluxe tostadas. Small set of tables to dine there if you want, but I've only gotten mine to go.“

This is primarily a quick-serve take out restaurant, but they do have a handful of tables inside. They also serve breakfast too under another name. I tried their fruit compote (juice) which is house made with real fruit and it was delicious. Owner was the only one working and he was very nice.“

“This past Sunday I went out for my long run, 13.1 miles, and decided I would stop at Idle Hands on the way back.The brewery is about a mile from my house so most of the hard running would be done.I had the Gretel pilsner and it was excellent. “Exquisite pastries. The hazelnut cream, the tarte au citron were 2 of my favorites. The meringue on the tarte was so airy, the hazelnut flavor light and moreish. “I was around the area and was craving for some Ice Cream - so what did I do? Open Yelp and looked for the closest one to me and has at least 4 Stars reviews- You already know what popped up first - Holy Cow Ice Cream ! I pulled into their parking lot on a drizzly 7pm evening - and have no idea what I wanted . At the same time , I don't want to be standing there looking at the 25+ of flavors that they had . Surely enough- I said to myself, ima have the worker pick for me ! So I said to the girl with a gray sweater, tied pony tail- "idk what I want, can you surprise me ?!" - she didn't hesitate or think twice or question anything (other then do I want it in a cup, cone, etc and I picked waffle cone)- and I'm glad she didn't ask me anything more than that because I STILL didn't know what I wanted lol! . She ranged me up, and did her thing . I also overheard her coworker asked if she wanted her to do it instead- she said no- she will surprise me . I waited approximately 3 min- she handed me a big WARM ice cream cone. I'm going to go ahead and say that waffle cone was freshly made. She gave me two scoops of something which had chunks of caramel squares and chocolate, vanilla, chocolate chip. It tasted a bit like butterscotch and something else . The bottom of the waffle cone had chocolate squares and mini chocolate chips and oh. My. Goodness. It was the most delicious ice cream I've ever had ! Kudos to the girl who "Surprised Me" with this ice cream on April 10th at 7pm ! I'll never know this flavor . lol And I'll probably say the same thing when I come back“

“My mom hosted my Bridal Shower in the private room at Night Shift Brewing's Everett Taproom and it was a dream come true!The space was recently renovated and looks amazing! Table/Couch configuration is customizable and Night Shift provided a few folding tables as well.My shower was in February and Valentines Day themed, I am *still* hearing from guests on how great the space was, how everyone enjoyed their drinks (& were so surprised Night Shift served more than just great beer!), and how wonderful Mike and the rest of the NSB team was!“

“This is a great place for groups and families. It’s overall a great time for bowling and nice little novelty experience if you haven’t tried it before. We only had two people so it might not have been worth it but we enjoyed it anyway. I actually liked the paper scoring but I can see why people would prefer automated.Unfortunately the lanes next to use kept breaking and it affected us getting enough balls, at one point our lane just had one and we kept having to wait for it to return to finish our turn. Other lanes had plenty and it would have been nice to have a staff member try and make it more even (further annoyance was that when we saw another lane only have one we gave a few of ours…? not realizing it would break and we would be down to one). We eventually just lost steam and finished up within the hour.Food service: extremely quick food service, and friendly staff. No complaints here.Food: the pizza was good, not amazing. They could have had more toppings for the speciality pizzas. We also ordered a drink which was ok. We finished the night off with dessert and got a lemon blueberry whoopie pie with ice cream. I kid you not, the whoopie pie tasted like Entemann’s little bites that you get at the grocery store. The lemon cream was way too sugary. I appreciated the whole locally sourced ingredients and the high quality… but it’s gotta taste good too.Overall we enjoyed the experience but it’s not my favorite.“

“Short Path is one of my fav places in the Boston area. I’ve been here multiple times but most recently to celebrate a surprise birthday party.The gin and drinks are phenomenal but what surpasses that is the staff. Very kind and accommodating! There was a hiccup in the event on our end but they were the best.Jeff who was working in the distillery was so kind and sweet.No doubt that we will be back!!Definitely consider Short Path Distillery to host your event!!“

“I can’t say enough about Soc’s. We live in Boston and although we love visiting new ice cream stands, Soc’s has become our go-to place and a tradition. From a customer’s perspective it’s just a fantastic business. The ice cream is consistently excellent, as is the service. Both are exactly what you’d hope to find at an ice cream stand. In warmer weather there are tables out front to eat at. In colder weather there is seating on the inside that is comfortable and clean.“

Only drawback is the line can get long (especially in the summer) but that is because they are so good. “Solid food but I wanted to give a shout-out to a fantastic trivia experience! Trivia can be a toss-up. I've gone to others in the Boston area where the questions were impossible (to the point where not a single person got it right) or the sound was deafeningly loud (to the point where my watch registered a dangerously high decibel level and was basically telling me to GTFO to save my hearing). The trivia set-up at Town Tavern was perfect. Three solid rounds of questions, different categories to keep things exciting, a great trivia master. For people with sensitive ears, the noise volume was perfect. I could hear everyone at my table. It was the most fun I had at trivia to date. Food-wise, you can't go wrong with the bar food. Our table split an order of onion rings (really enjoyed the sauce) and my chicken Caesar did the job of making me feel healthy-ish. Which of course I then undid by basically inhaling a slice of the basque cheesecake on my own. Loved the wedge fries here, I may get just an order of that for myself next time. Prices were pretty affordable. For a group of eight that ordered drinks and desserts, the total came out to about $183 before tax/tip.“

We all know the stages of grief when it comes to eating a fried chicken sandwich, but, they defied it! Thin and crisp cutlets, with a toasty yet moist and buttery brioche - it doesn't even need more. But, they went a step further with options like Nashville hot, sweet heat (strongly recommend) and one with generous slabs of crisp artisanal bacon. But, they didn't overdo it. There was no tsunami of sauce to ruin the bun, there was no hot oil spewing out of the folds of golden breading. This sandwich was made with airtight execution. The size of the sandwich could easily be shared if you had any semblance of self-control, but I wouldn't recommend it. “Was staying in Medford, working in Boston for 18 days. The food was so good I ate there 16 of the 18 days I was there.(tried some Italian restaurants while I was there the other 2 nights). Everything I ate was great! The chili was the best I’ve ever ate, the wings were awesome, the loaded nachos, the steak tips, the meatloaf, sweet potato fries, the brussel sprouts, the collard greens, were all great and some of the best southern food I’ve ever ate and I’m from South Alabama! And the drinks were great also. It was my home away from home for 2 1/2 weeks. The atmosphere was very welcoming, Scott, Erin and Sylvia took great care of me. “Don't judge a book by its cover. First impression was that the cafe was small and really busy. But after we were seated and Kim came over to greet us, she was friendly and really terrific. The place calmed down a bit, we had a great table, and the food was really good. Omelette was great, tasty pancakes, home fries were crispy. We ended up lingering way too long. “Have ordered from here multiple times throughout the pandemic but finally got to visit in person. Cute cafe vibe rather than a restaurant! My coffee was good. For food, I highly recommend the arepas (like with sweet plantains), cachapa con queso (which has the best cheese and sweet corn flavor like I cannot explain how freakin good it is), and yucca fries with the dip.It's a lil cramped inside and so we had to wait a bit after ordering for a regular table to clear, although they do have a bar-like seating too.“

“This place has always been excellent excellent excellent with preparing food GLUTEN FREE, for a customer with a gluten allergy. My wife has a gluten allergy, she's never gotten sick from pizza here. This is rare for a pizza place that offers gluten-free... there is almost always cross contamination. No here ! Come to find out one of the managers here explained to me that they actually have 2 separate areas they prepare pizza's, one regular area and one gluten-free area so there is no cross contamination. “I love the ice cream at Munchies, my favorite is the Strawberry Oreo. Lately however, it seems the quality has gone down hill a little. The last 2 times I ordered my beloved flavor it had multiple areas of freezer burn. I have worked at several ice cream stores and anyone in the business knows that if you don't flatten and care for the product, you will ruin it. Please be more attentive to this because I want to keep eating your ice cream. When it's made and maintained correctly it shines above its competitors. When employees stop taking care of the product people notice.“
