“This place does not miss. I have been here many times for friends birthdays, anniversaries or family dinners and they are always extraordinary. The wait staff is professional, the drinks taste amazing (but are still strong), and the steak is some of the best I have ever had. The bread is always fresh that they bring to the table and the side are all very tasty. I highly recommend the tomahawk steak and a dirty martini from this place. A match made in heaven.“

“As always our meal at Dovetail was spot on. I had the snapper and my wife the scallops. Bother dishes were thoughtfully prepared, attractive and very tasty. We've been fans for years and have never been disappointed in our meals at Dovetail or their sister restaurant, Brewers Fork.“

“Great tasting lobsters and lobster sandwiches. Best lobster bisque in the world--seriously. Seafood chowder also very good. We always go here for the lobster special, which is reasonably priced. Where else in Boston can you get 2 lobsters and a bowl of mussels for less than 50 bucks? This place rocks.“

“Atlantic Fish Company is a must-visit seafood destination in Boston. From the moment you enter, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. My 4 person group started with cocktail shrimp and bacon-wrapped scallops as appetizers, which were both impeccably fresh and flavorful. For my main course, I opted for one of their evening specials: lobster carbonara. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the lobster was succulent, all enveloped in a rich and creamy sauce. But what really elevated our meal was the exceptional service we received throughout the evening. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and made us feel right at home.If you're looking for a top-notch seafood restaurant in Boston, Atlantic Fish Company should be at the top of your list ???“

“This place is awesome. You must get Chris as your waitress. She was amazing, with great recommendations and a great approach to servicing her patrons. The food is excellent and lots of veggie and non-meat/shellfish options. The ambiance is nice as well and really enjoyed a nice romantic dinner/evening.“

“The food here is absolutely amazing and definitely worth the wait. Expect a wait time of 30 minutes to an hour due to its popularity, but it's well worth it. It's a pretty small place but can seat a lot. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Personally, I tried the Swing Pork Belly, Yo-In-Style Ramen Noodles, Beef and Enoki Cabbage Soup, and Black Fish Fillet with Szechuan Pickles. The Swing Pork Belly with its incredible garlic sauce and the Beef and Enoki Cabbage Soup with the perfect amount of spice and meat were standouts. If I could dine at Mountain House for every meal, I definitely would.“

Try the lobster roll and fries.Dietary restrictions: Our server immediately asked if there were any food allergies or restrictions when we ordered. Very prompt, professional, and considerate.“

“A notable destination for Mediterranean seafood fares in the heart of Back Bay.Recently took a visit for dinner. Set against a backdrop of a modern lounge vibe, complete with high ceilings, Porto seemed like an ideal spot for date nights. As advertised, their menu featured a blend of Italian pasta and Mediterranean seafood dishes. We started off our meal with the Crispy Calamari. It was a decent appetizer that aligned with the typical offerings of a modern Italian restaurant. Its seasoning was a tad overbearing, but it still set a nice tone for the meal. From their pasta selections, we opted for theWild Mushroom Mafalde and the Wild Boar Cocoa Pappardelle. The Pappardelle boasted a tender boar ragu with umami from Manchego, but it unfortunately suffered from a lack of cohesion. The pasta itself was slightly undercooked and lacked depth in flavor, failing to fully harmonize with the ragu. On the other hand, the Mafalde was enjoyable. The combination of garlic butter and Aleppo pepper introduced a welcomed acidity, and the interplay of textures between the al dente Mafalde and the succulent mushrooms was particularly satisfying. The highlight of the evening was the Seared Bronzino. Unlike many other Branzino dishes I've tried in Boston, which often fell flat in flavor, Porto’s rendition was masterfully-seasoned. Each bite struck a perfect balance between salinity and the sweet nuances of the squash purée.While Porto may not be the best Mediterranean spot in Back Bay, its seafood offerings, particularly the Seared Bronzino, make it worth a return visit. The pricing, given the quality and ambiance, also doesn’t feel too excessive. Recommend giving them a try if you’re looking for an upscale romantic venue with great food and atmosphere.Parking: Prudential public parking garage“

“I recently tried the lobster butter roll at James Hook and Co. in Boston and I was extremely satisfied with both the food and the service. The roll was packed with delicious lobster meat and the butter added a rich and indulgent flavor. The roll itself was perfectly toasted, adding a nice crunch to each bite.I also had the crab cake, and it was outstanding. The crab meat was plentiful and there were very few fillers, which allowed the natural sweetness and delicate texture of the crab to shine through. The crab cake was fried to perfection, with a crispy exterior and a moist and flavorful interior. One thing that stood out to me was the fast service. Despite the popularity of the restaurant, my order was prepared and served in a timely manner. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that I had a great dining experience.Overall, I highly recommend James Hook and Co. for their lobster butter roll and crab cake. The quality of the food, coupled with the fast and friendly service, make it a fantastic dining option.“

“We got the salmon cups, which was very hearty and yummy! We also got the Botan Ebi Ikura and the Miso Butter Cod and another handroll which I forgot but all were so fresh and delicious in their own ways. We did have to wait 20 minutes to be seated since it is a small space, but it was totally worth it!“

“I got the carbonara and sangria red, and it was nice! They start you out with bread, olive oil and parmesan, and I think they use fresh pasta and gave a decently hefty portion! I don't regret coming but will happily try out the other restaurants in the area before making my way back here. :)“

“Legit moved every bit of my meal! From the brown butter lobster roll to the delicious crudo. My only beef is the 5% admin fee already added! When I asked about it they said: “it’s to distributed to our non-tipped staff in the form of increased wages.” Why I am responsible for paying your employees a better wage?! Shouldn’t that be left to the owners/management?!“

“The lamb burger was excellent. Went in for a quick bite and our waiter was kind enough to split our shared meal - the lamb burger and fries with truffle - on two plates and maintained the presentation and quality of the food. But the real winner of the night were the two homemade cookies we took home. My only complaint of the evening was the back corner of the restaurant we were seated in was a little too dark for my liking. Overall though, a solid place for dinner.“

“The 2 bone in filets were over cooked in one part of one filet and in the other filet it was under cooked in one part so we ended up trading the well done for the not so well done as how we ordered the steak .. they offered a new steak but at the price of the bone in we don't like to waste food - they comp a drink but that's all ? I think they should have comp the steak but otherwise it was good“

“Lots to like, with a couple of notes. Good oysters, good beer, delicious pickled mussels. The seafood is our entrees was very fresh and the scallops were standout. The execution of the spaghetti with clams fell a bit short in the execution: The dish was noticeably sandy and had some shards of shell. We also observed our poured beers sitting for a few minutes before someone picked them up and brought them to us. But overall it was a very good meal in a very pleasant, not too loud setting.“

“This restaurant has been a fixture on Route 20 in Wayland since the 1930’s (formerly known as the ‘Red Coach Grill’)! My fiance and I have driven by countless times and always say how we would love to stop in one day for a meal, well, we finally did and after dinner agreed this was easily one of the best meals we’ve had so far in 2024!The inside of the restaurant is so warm and welcoming with dark wood and leather throughout and when we were seated by the fireplace, that is attended to all night, we were introduced to our server, Andrea, who has worked at the Coach Grill for 23 years! She shared some of the lore of the restaurant and guided us through the menu pointing out popular dishes and her favorites, many that are original recipes (like the corn pudding, Andrea told us that people come just for that side dish!)Here’s a rundown of our order:- NEGRONI - gin, campari, vermouth- MAINE LUNCH IPA- CALAMARI MILANO - fried or grilled, garlic, parmesan, basil aioli (order this ‘grilled’ - the calamari and peppers are put in a grill basket over charcoal and it is a gamechanger, I may never order fried calamari again!)- BEEF WELLINGTON - filet mignon, mushroom duxelles, sauce périgueux- BONE-IN RIBEYE with GREEN BEANS and CORN PUDDING- CISCO BREWERS GREY LADY- PROFITEROLES - pate a choux puff, ice cream, chocolate sauceThe servings were large and so delicious, we enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant and leftovers the next night! We were so relaxed sitting by the fire enjoying our drinks and food and already planning another visit. Coach Grill would be perfect for date night, a birthday celebration, or just a night you want a really great meal in a warm, cozy atmosphere!“

From my online booking experience (love being able to book a 11 person reservation online no problem!), to the great seating area (private corner so it felt so intimate even though the restaurant was packed), and last but not least, to the service! Mason was incredible! We had a large party with many people coming and going at different times. Somehow he managed to time our cocktails and food perfectly and handle many different tabs with ease. And the food and cocktails were great! Highly recommend for large parties! Well done Seasons! Thank you Mason!“

“This place is the best authentic Italian restaurant in the area, hands down. You won't find chicken parm on the menu, which is perfect in my opinion. “I have been trying to hit different restaurants in the North End when going to see the Bruins and have been to almost every popular restaurant in the neighborhood. We went to Aqua Pazza on Saturday before the game and it may have been my favorite experience in the North End. The service was excellent, the food was fantastic and the vibe is bright and wide open. We had zucchini flowers, manicotti and cacio e pepe and it was the first time in a long time I finished my entire meal. This is the only time I have made an effort to write a review on Open Table, I enjoyed it that much.“

“Visited this place on a sunday and was not disappointed! It runs like a well oiled machine. We got hot lobster rolls and the chowder. It was wonderful. The owner came out and made sure our sandwiches were on point, replacing one (fried fish) that was a little bit overcooked. He came back multiple times to make sure we all loved our food. “Who else hasn’t eaten bean sprouts and egg fried rice? It’s like a state banquet. I’ll be really sad if someone doesn’t pack a portion to take away when someone comes. It’s so delicious. It’s worth walking ten minutes in the cold wind to buy egg fried rice. (Egg fried rice can be bought separately without having to eat hot pot. Those who are too lazy to turn on the fire are in luck)“

“The service is excellent. Our waitress Jami really cared about our feelings for the steaks that we ordered. She asked me how I felt about the steaks. “I ordered my steaks to be cooked for medium rare but the kitchen overcooked the steak and it became too dry”, I said. She offered to replace a new steak for me even though I said we were fine with the steak. She wanted to ensure that we were 100% satisfied with the food. Even the manager came over to our table to apologize for the food that didn’t meet our expectation. The service exceeded my expectation.“

“Went during Reastaurant week so went looking for the specials ..the waiter explained it didn’t make any sense because there was additional pricing for some of the items which defeats the Reastaurant week deal so I got the bootleg special for two and it was pretty good came out looking and smelling delicious and it was a good portion seeing how you get a whole lobster also got the shooter special but it was a little confusing because I thought you were getting 4 different flavored shots when it was just multiple flavors in that one shooter but I may go maybe one more time to try something else for another review just don’t go during reastaurant week unless they change the prices items“

“Stepping into Paddy’s Public House in Newton, Massachusetts, feels like finding a hidden gem in the heart of the city. This charming pub exemplifies the perfect blend of a cozy atmosphere and exceptional food, making it a must-visit for locals and visitors alike.I had the pleasure of trying their bacon cheeseburger, and it was a delightful experience. The burger was cooked to perfection, with a juicy, flavorful patty that harmonized wonderfully with the crispy bacon and melted cheese. Every bite was a taste of heaven! The sweet potato fries were a standout side dish. They were crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned just right, creating a delightful contrast with the savory burger. And the fried pickles - oh, what a treat! They were crunchy, tangy, and addictively delicious, with just the right amount of breading to not overpower the pickle itself. The staff at Paddy’s deserves a special mention for their warm and welcoming service.
