“We got very fortunate and grabbed a table as soon as we came in, it was Marathon Monday. Order the mushroom pizza and the kale and nappa cabbage salad. Both came very quickly, and was delicious. Our server, Israel, was amazing. Very knowledgeable and caring. He was fantastic. A great place for food....enjoy“

“Delicious food and drinks in a cozy and dimly lit restaurant! Reservations are only for the pre fix menu so we did walk in on a weekday evening and had about a 20-25 min wait. The food was delicious - tried the lumache (gochujang bolognese) which was unique but our FAVORITE was the wild mushroom lasagne over spring onion chutney! The Szechuan peppercorn spiced drinks are interesting - recommend trying since they are unique! Tried the bread pudding and it was yummy - the bread is soaked in the equivalent of melted vanilla ice cream and had almost a mochi texture. The bread used in the dessert is the same bread given at the beginning which is house made and so fluffy“

“This review for the donuts. Omg I’ve had donuts in so many states across the country and Brassica’s is by far the best. The flavors are so well executed, unique and complex on the palate. The guava crème fraiche might be my current favorite, but the passion fruit is a close second. If you don’t have a sweet tooth like me, these donuts will really do it for you because they don’t use a traditional sugar glaze like literally every other donut shop. They’re fluffy yeast donuts with a glaze that’s more the consistency of jam and icing. 10/10 run don’t walk.“

“What an amazing place. In these times when we are still not comfortable dining indoors this place rocks. The chef behind these dishes knows a thing or two about bringing beer garden food to a totally new level. Thank you chef and staff in front of the house.“

“Top notch dining experience in all respects. The menu has so many wonderful things to choose from, it was hard to decide. The portions are very generous, this goes for the starters as well. All three of us, loved our meals....it was the best dinner any of us had had for quite some time. We had a fabulous waitress. I am sure we will all be back sometime soon.“

“So many food options and a lot of space so you can find room to sit even in relatively packed times. Certain restaurants are overpriced but can still find good eats. The parking deck is clutch - if you validate it it's $10 for 3 hrs which is great for that location.“

“What a lovely restaurant. The outside is swagger with flowers around the door, very much like cafes in Paris. The food was spectacular. We had oysters and shrimp, shepherd’s pie, beetroot and blood orange salad, homemade tagliatelle bolognese and a spicy lobster pasta dish. Desserts are inventive and delicious. We got a banana sundae, a combination of bananas foster with banana bread and ice cream. The cocktails are beautiful. Different and cool with fun names. There are two bars in a lovely cozy setting of white lights, windows and hardwood floors. Definitely will be back.“

“Delicious and safe dining experience- the food was unbelievably fresh and creative. All servers went out of their way to be attentive and friendly- the mulled wine was the perfect beverage on this chilly afternoon! We brought blankets- and used them!“

“Oak bistro is a lovely „new“ spot close to Inman square, and fits in very well with the already great restaurant scene there. The food menu is small but very well curated and everything is delicious, service is excellent and efficient and only the atmosphere gets a tiny hit because of the acoustics and that the mains followed too quickly when we are still on the appetizers - should have a better look at optimizing that.We had the octopus, tuna tartare, duck and scallops and all dishes were very well seasoned and fairly priced for the quality. Will definitely go again“

“Toowoomba Panini 5/5 Blueberry Cream Cheese Croffle 4.2/5 Shakshuka 4.2/5 Prosciutto, fig, and arugula panini 4/5 Matcha Croffle 3/5 Love this place for brunch! Only downside is that it is a little bit on the pricier side for what you get, but it's at a convenient location in Allston. It's a small place with maybe seating for ~25 people and can get chilly inside because of how small the place is and there being no double door. If you're looking for dish recommendations, the Toowoomba panini is quite good. The crunch of the bread with the sauce they have on the side is a match made in heaven! Their blueberry cream cheese croffle and shakshuka are also quite good. I've never had any issues with service. Our orders have always come out in a timely manner. Regarding parking, there's 2 hour parking in a small lot across the street or metered street parking available.“

“After cruising around for parking for nearly 30 mins, the bartender was generous enough to allow me to park in their lot in an illegals spot and not have me towed. I had called and he could hear the stress in my voice since the rest of my party had already been seated. Upon walking in late, he immediately came over and poured me a complimentary glass of one of the most delish glasses of French red wine idea ever had. The food and service was top notch. EVERYONE that worked there was incredibly knowledgeable, nice, and just seemlessly working together to ensure we were taken care of. Hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had in years based on the quality of service and creative dishes. 1,000/10 recommend!“

“I have tried their fried chicken side order, fried chicken sandwich, Korean fried chicken sandwich, and mac and cheese. All were delicious. Also recently had the chicken salad sandwich. Overall it was good, but the Dijon mustard flavor was too strong. My parents took a few bites and weren't able to finish it.Eitherway, looking forward to try some of their other dishes.“

“Boston King Coffee is the BEST coffee shop in the area. I highly recommend Peter’s Iced Coffee and the Turkish Cold Brew. I go almost every morning before work for my usual Large Iced Black and if I have time I’ll go later in the day for a shot of espresso and a bite to eat. I’ve been going to BKC for over 10 years and enjoy my daily chats with Peter. BKC is the absolute best, you will not be disappointed!“

“The food ended up being good, but there were a few red flags. The eggs Benedict egg white was very runny. When I asked about this, the chef said there was no other way to cook it. This didn't make sense. Also the steak I ordered as medium rare was very medium. Other than that, the food was good.“

“Amazing meal from start to finish. The bread and the churned butter is to die for. For apps we had the foie gras, steak tartare, tuna crudo and soft shell crab. All were fantastic but the foie gras was the star. For entree I got the duck and it was outstanding. My husband got the pork chop and our friend got the gnocchi. Everyone was very pleased with their meal. Will definitely be back!“

“Wonderful new little place in the neighborhood. We went there with our family, and had a great time. The space is absolutely gorgeous, sleek but not pretentious, high ceilings, simple and elegant design. Host and servers were excellent, accommodating and professional. The food is excellent. The pizza dough is well leavened and perfectly cooked, with a nutty hint of ancient grains (just guessing there was a bit of whole wheat) a delicious and interesting take on the Neapolitan style pizza. The drink selection is small but outstanding. We only had a couple of great beers. Look forward to going back.“

“I have never posted a review before. My wife and I are visiting Boston during the winter and we ate dinner at Summer Shack last night. We ate at Atlanta Fish Co a few days ago and that was good too. We went to Pescador tonight and it was so very bad we paid the check, left the food and went back to the Summer Shack because it was so incredibly good. Recommend to all who love great shellfish and lobster. The best.“

“Cashew kale Caesar is simply the best! Always fresh ingredients. The staff members are so friendly—They were running low on broccoli (new batch would be out in just a couple min) but I was hungry so I got some brussels instead. However, the kind staff worker went out of his way to deliver broccoli to where I was sitting anyways! Great service, will always come to this location!“

“Excellent menu of just the right length. All of our choices were well cooked and presented. The exception being a ‘side' of the corn beef hash which had we chosen that as a main entrée would have been sent back, watery and absent of any flavour. But because we ordered it ‘to try', it didn't impact on the rest of our meal. Also perfect Bloody Mary.“

“We always wanted to try Buttonwood and scheduled a birthday dinner there recently. The food was good but not great. Nothing really had any kind of a "wow" factor. The drinks were decent-again not extraordinary, just garden variety good. We appreciated birthday cannolis to help our celebration and our waitress was nice (although she did not appear to be experienced). We likely will not be back because there are better options available for a more exciting/interesting/excellent dining experience.“
“It took me 2 years to get to Lenox Sophia and I am kicking myself for not having made it there sooner now! What a fantastic experience from the moment we stepped in the door to the moment we waddled out with full bellies. We sat at the counter and what fun to be near the (sparkling clean) kitchen and watch the chefs at work. They were calm and coordinated even thought the place was full; you can tell Chef Mei has worked in Keller kitchens. We ordered the omnivores and veg menu and were able to alter the veg menu to have fish course from the omnivore side. I am super glad I did because the red perch was perfect with the light cornmeal crust (pretty sure it was cornmeal) and the zing of the perfectly pickled mussels. I can't get the perfect consistency of the celeriac course out of my mind. We got a special treat of the beet tartar. My mouth is watering again thinking of it. The cracker was the perfect complement and as a beet lover, I say this with respect... It didn't have the earthiness that some folks don't like about beets but I think it highlighted beets well. Basically, I think Chef Mei did some magic. You can probably tell I can keep going about the dinner. And I haven't even touched on the service which was exceptional. Knowledgeable, attentive without being too much (which isn't easy in a small space). Needless to say at this point probably, but I will be going back to Lenox Sophia!“

“Loved the new vegan selections on the menu. We were a party of 4 so we were able to try a bunch of the vegan items. The risotto dish and the portobello parmesan were very tasty. The zoodle dish could have been a little herbier or spicier, it was a bit bland. And my friend said the mushroom bean burger was tasty but dry. Maybe including a spicy chipotle sauce (could be made with vegan mayo, hot sauce, garlic etc) would have helped? Hope these items stay on the menu. Of course the beer was terrific too!“
