“THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE KRASI STAFF.The hostess Jasmine is a GEM! She truly made our day. She went above and beyond for us!Every single staff member was so friendly, kind and welcoming. “Excellent drink menu including Greek wine, beer, and spirits, as well as creative cocktails. Wide selection of delicious dishes great for sharing family style, ranging from light to hearty and filling. The fried mushrooms were a paticular standout. Staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu- they provide some of the best service I’ve seen at a new restaurant. We’re already planning our next visit! I would recommend making reservations in advance as they’re quite busy.“
“This place has been creating quite a stir on social media, and I couldn't resist checking it out. Kava is an enchanting little Greek eatery that truly brings their dishes to life. Our meal began with the zucchini chips, which were nothing short of exquisite. They struck the perfect balance between soft and crunchy, resulting in a mouthwatering bite every time. The tzatziki dipping sauce was equally fantastic. For our main course, we ordered two servings of the lamb meatballs with a side of rice. The flavors were absolutely sensational, although I must say, the portions were a bit on the small side, particularly given the price. Nonetheless, the overall experience was everything I hoped for, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.“
“There’s only couple of good places to eat authentic greek gyro in boston , and that’s one of them , tzatziki sauce is incredible, the gyros are huge , fries are good and the meat was perfect , i’m huge critic of greek cuisine in usa , but this place definitely worth it, don’t hesitate to try it!“
“I’ve been going to Opa for years and when they closed down, it was very sad. However, a new Greek family just reopened the restaurant and their meals are even better than the original Opa! I got the chicken souvlaki pita and my coworkers got the chicken gyro and veggie pita. Their food is very fresh, the flavors are much better and the family couldn’t be nicer. They even gave me samples of their mustard sauce (very tangy) as well as their delicious spicy feta. They have a new fan and I will be ordering with them again.“
“The food is very delicious, healthy, fulfilling, and flavorful. The service is even better! Such a friendly staff, especially the cashier from Greece itself (I believe his name is Nicolas, but I might be mistaken)! I highly recommend GrecoVegetarian options: Veggie fritter“
“I can safely say that I am an expert in fast street food. I ordered Gyros from this place. And I want to declare with full responsibility that this is the best Gyros of my life!!! While I was eating it, I was in seventh heaven! It's sooooo tasty and fast. I recommend to all lovers of fast food to try this masterpiece of culinary art at least once.“
“What a great place! We found this while searching for vegan/vegetarian spots in the area. We got dolmas, a falafel pita wrap and a hummus and veggie pita wrap. The fillings were fresh, pita huge and crunchy and delicious, and the most smooth hummus ever. Need to come back here to try the impossible meatballs soon!“
“The food is great, but what really impresses is the service. Our door dash order was missing a dish and when I called to let them know, the apologized and immediately sent a replacement via Uber eats, no questions asked. Now THAT'S how you build a stellar reputation with the community! They were always a fave, but now they're our go-to for Greek food going forward.Vegetarian options: Falafel and salad options, also spanokopita.“
“I visited Greco this past weekend with three friends and had a great experience! Personally, I ordered the chicken gyro plate, which was a hearty and delicious serving. Staff were friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend!“
“I work close by and this is my go to lunch spot. The soups are incredible but so is everything on the menu honestly. But really it’s the people that work there for me, they’re friendly , the remember faces and always in good spirits. I enjoy this place a lot! Good food, good people!“
“Superiorly delicious, healthy, and reasonably priced is how I would describe the food at My Other Kitchen most concisely. Their Greek salad with chicken souvlaki is addictively good - it goes great with George's pita bread. Their hamburger tastes better than any burger I have had elsewhere, even at much higher prices! I highly recommend this place for takeout, but they also have limited seating inside and bigger tables outside in the warmer months.“
“I love this place! Always fresh ingredients, very pleasant people work here. I am European and I can tell- this is the best authentic Gyros in Boston area!I prefer lamb Gyro, but the chicken one is delicious as well. Their baklava is to die for! The owner and his beautiful, charming wife are so kind and welcoming, so I feel I often just stop by to greet them and grab a small bite. I highly recommend this place! 5 stars ?!“
“As there are not nany great Greek restaurants in the area, this place has the best Greek food hands down. Good portions. Fair prices. Place is small with only a handful of tables. But comfortable enough. Lamb Shish Kebabs plate is delicious. Two nice size grilled skewers of lamb with tomatoes, onions and green peppers, served with Greek roasted potatoes, Greek salad and pita. Delicious!“
“The best lunch spot in all my years working in Boston. I wish your lunch menu was available on your dinner menu at the Somerville location! We don’t get in town much anymore and visiting state street was on my date night list this past weekend but you aren’t open on the weekends :( I miss my chicken gyro rice bowl - spicy. Thinking of it longingly!“
“I can't complain about the price for the portion, one time I was able to make a gyro basket dinner, breakfast and then lunch. Personally I think the beef gyro is better than the chicken gyro but that's just because the chicken cubes are a little big.“
“Food and atmosphere was really good. We got a couple things off the menu including the Greek donuts. I liked the sauce, and the fries were seasoned really well. The chicken was a bit dry but no issue.Vegetarian options: Cheese and salad options“
“I work in the building next door so I go here often for lunch. The food is always tasty and the people are friendly. I got the Winter Salad and added grilled chicken - the best thing I’ve had here! I only ever do takeout and I use the online ordering, super easy! It always takes about 15 mins.“
“Great service and delicious food with lots of variety on the menu. It’s a bit of a hole in the wall but I like the vibe and the music/ambiance is really pleasant. The place is also spotless. We ordered the lobster rolls with sweet potato fries and lentil soup and everything tasted fresh and homemade. Can’t wait to go back and try their other specials.“
“I had to post this because it is incredible I’m 45 years old and this is the tastiest grilled chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. It’s grilled chicken, with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, banana peppers and light mayo on a toasted sub roll and it is one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. I’ve gotten three this past week alone. It’s a must try and the family who owns Andrea’s are awesome people. It’s always a good experience in there!“
“Visited my Hometown of Waltham last night. How I wish I had this where I live - Boston Kebab! Located at 146 Lexington St, across from Police Station. A great choice for a night out with family/friends and sharing a variety of different Mediterranean dishes to sample! LOVED IT! My favorite part was the bread and dips! Can't wait to go back!“
“First off - cash only. Second - good fish yes but also good cheese and olive options and economically priced group of grocery essentials. Very friendly Greek family runs the store. Pop in and browse the little store, you'll walk out with some happy food purchases.“
“Upscale Greek fast food part of a chain that is worth visiting. The food is tasty and well executed and the décore is modern and welcoming. This particular location is close to Fenway and among new residential buildings and close to shops. This is a good place for a casual meal in the area.“
“The perfect old school diner. The coffee is great, my eggs were poached perfectly and the corn beef hash was exactly what I needed. My server, Chris, was super quick, friendly and made great recommendations - most importantly, she refilled my coffee before I could even ask. I’m so happy to see a local business thrive and am excited to come back soon.“
“Excellent service and we got (me and my wife) ur gyros to eat there and those to go exactly the way we wanted them !!! I ended helping them with something that came that day from Greece (it saved me from sitting in the traffic) but it was a pleasure to meet the owner too!!! Thank you from George & Kanella“
“Love the octopus and skordalia ( garlic potatoes- emphasis on the garlic). Honestly, I haven't had anything that doesn't taste good. There are lots of choices and all made extremely well. Nice atmosphere. Reminds me of the outdoor cafés in Greece. Well done.Vegetarian options: Green beans are delicious, as are garlic potatoes. Calamari and octopus are really good selections also, as are the shrimp dishes“
“Part 1: Food is delicious! Ordered the zucchini wrap and the mezze (spreads) -- an excellent combination. Perfect size and extremely tasty! Part 2: I left my credit card behind after ordering my to-go meal, and was so grateful that the folks at the restaurant held on to it until I was able to return several days later. Thank you so much!“
“For a fast causal spot, quality here is solid. Their spanikopita was a surprising standout: so flavorful, so crispy, a must-get. Love the option to mix and match a variety of their dips, spreads, and meze: they have so many options that are bound to satisfy, including tasty grape leaves. And their meals offer a choice of sides as well: the lamb shank and green beans are both good bets. We were given mashed potatoes instead of the roasted potatoes we ordered though, and the Lima beans were actually gigante beans, so you might need to be flexible with your choices and confirm directly if you have dietary restrictions.“
