“Having Kate and the Blackstrap BBQ team cater our wedding was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning! From the beginning Kate was so fantastic to work with. She helped us pick the perfect menu, decor and made all the logistics a breeze. Any time we had a question or concern (be it about food, our venue, drinks, floor plan, you name it) Kate was so fast to respond and put us at ease. Kate's planning and day of coordinating services really went above and beyond! On the day of she made sure everything ran so smoothly that my husband, our family and I didn't have to worry about a thing! “First visit today, although we live somewhat in the neighborhood and I am already kicking myself for not having got here sooner. Red tabbouleh spicing was very punchy and vivid. Allspice in the stuffed grape leaves make them worth coming back for, not something I think I've ever said about stuffed grape leaves before. Most unforgettable was the red lentil soup with its soft rich velvety texture over two or three layers of different delicious flavors. Great first impression, can't wait to go back, solid A leaning toward A+.“

“Terrie catered our corporate function that we have on a chartered boat out of Plymouth harbor. This is her second time catering this event. This past week terrie and her team blew the party out of the water (no pun intended). She was able to carefully serve meals to our 100 guests. Emphasis on carefully as the boat was rocking in big wake over 40 miles out of harbor. She had a couple delicious options for our guests - lobster, steamer and shellfish or chicken, hot dogs and coleslaw. Everything was delicious and all the guests were very pleased. I recommend her time and again for corporate functions, family get togethers, weddings and anniversaries, and anything in between where delicious food and attentive staff is needed. “We honestly didn't know what to expect with the Four Handed Illusionist Show, however, it was beyond our expectations.The comedy mixed with the magic and illusions was so exciting. We were there for my brother's birthday. We were greeted by a wonderful hostess named Rachel and the unbelievable top notch customer service from the barmaid's Alyssa and Bau. All three of those ladies were amazing and I love to bump into them again. Rachel was super accommodating and always had a smile.The barmaid's had wonderful drink suggestions, smiles, customer service and told us how much we would enjoy the show.Well, the main attraction was the 2 gentlemen that put on an unbelievable show. I remember magic since I was little and you don't see that anymore. I would come back to the see the show with other friends or family members again and again.I love that it was required to dress up because when you look good, you feel good and what else was nice...It was a very intimate show that was super interactive with the audience. You were never put on the spot, you were always part of the show. If you haven't seen it get yourself a few tickets and go“

“Amazing deli sandwiches, but glad we got here early as the lines form for lunch super quick. The person who I was with and I both had pastrami sandwiches with half sour pickles. I couldn't believe how quiet the restaurant was. We were able to find a seat no problem and our sandwiches came out about 5-6 minutes after we ordered it. When I say that the pastrami melted in your mouth, it was just so flavorful and juicy. Where we live, we don't have places like this, so this was definitely a treat.“

“Visited this place on a sunday and was not disappointed! It runs like a well oiled machine. We got hot lobster rolls and the chowder. It was wonderful. The owner came out and made sure our sandwiches were on point, replacing one (fried fish) that was a little bit overcooked. He came back multiple times to make sure we all loved our food. “Powerhouse Catering is the first place I call, whether I need a simple "drop-off", or a full service catering need with staff. They are creative and the presentation is amazing. All of the staff, from the sales managers to waitstaff, chefs and bartenders are wonderful to work with and go above and beyond at each event.“

“This place is fantastic. We’ve been dinning at the Wellesley’s store for about one year now and have no complaints. Staff is super professional and amicable. “My family and I really enjoyed our Friday night at the cozy and beautifully decorated Phinix Lounge! “The Serranito sandwich is the best deli sandwich I’ve ever had. We were in Boston for 3 days with a full food itinerary, stopped in here on day one and had to come back a second time before we left. The sandwiches are big, easy to split between two people. Freshly sliced ham, incredible cheese, crispy toasted bread, garlic aioli…this is our favorite place we ate in Boston. A must eat!!!“

“If you are looking for a place that prepares fresh, delicious food it's Virginia's Fine Foods! They offer take out during this pandemic time. Arda and her family donated meals for our entire staff at the Armenian Nursing & Rehab Center! What a treat it was and so very much appreciated. The chicken was so tender with nice spices served over a vegetable rice accompanied by a super crisp fresh salad with delish balsamic dressing! Also so many choices of sparkling waters! It was all individually packaged, boxed and organized for easy no contact access for the staff. She also was wonderful at communicating with me on the menu and delivery. I can imagine with her level of professionalism it would be a breeze to work with her on any kind of catering event. All we can say is thank you Arda! Your kindness, generosity and delicious food is truly appreciated, especially by our hard-working staff. “We loved working with Julian and his team for our summer 2023 wedding! We were excited to serve paella because the bride's late grandfather was known for making celebratory paellas for large events, and this felt like a good way to remember him on the big day. Julian honored that sentiment and then some!Julian was very helpful and friendly throughout the process. He helped us understand what was possible with our budget, and he helped us make selections when it came to our table settings. He was friendly and easy to work with throughout the whole process, and he had everything handled when our wedding venue coordinator left her job and someone less familiar with the venue took over.On the day of, Julian and his team were on it! The cocktail hour spread and food were both amazing, and Julian made up plates and had waters ready for the bride and groom right after the ceremony, so we had plenty to snack on while we were having our couple's portraits done. He and his team were cooking up a show, and even let the ring bearer mix some of the paella, which our family got a real kick out of! He also took candid photos throughout the day, which felt like an added bonus. Even now, six months out from the wedding, people are still commenting about how amazing the food was. Our family is trying to come up with other occasions big enough that we could hire Julian again! We wholeheartedly recommend Julian and his team to anyone looking for amazing food.“

We were out of the delivery zone (make sure to check!) but able to coordinate via email a time to meet with them at the kitchen and pick up, which we really appreciated!The dumplings were absolutely perfect. Stuffed generously, beautifully pleated, and delicious. Dumplings were in separate trays so no confusion for vegetarians. They were the first food to go at our party and I would highly recommend Yang’s to everyone!“

“Came here for a late breakfast, since it was close to our hotel. Can't say enough good things about the place. Prices were reasonable, especially for being in the heart of the city. Portions were generous and everything tasted great! I had the traditional breakfast with bacon and it came with a heaping pile of home fries, and a couple. nice slices of sourdough toast. My only complaint is that the bacon wasn't thickly sliced. My daughter had the Challah French toast and gave it two thumbs up!“

“Have ordered from here multiple times throughout the pandemic but finally got to visit in person. Cute cafe vibe rather than a restaurant! My coffee was good. For food, I highly recommend the arepas (like with sweet plantains), cachapa con queso (which has the best cheese and sweet corn flavor like I cannot explain how freakin good it is), and yucca fries with the dip.It's a lil cramped inside and so we had to wait a bit after ordering for a regular table to clear, although they do have a bar-like seating too.“

“I have been enjoying Chicken and Rice guys since it was a line of food trucks!Whether you order from the kiosk or the counter the food comes out immediately - they know how to move the lunch crowd along. I always get the chicken on rice. And I usually get the garlic sauce, the barbeque sauce or some mix of the two. It's consistently good, but your other options are tofu or gyro - but I've never had either. They have cans of soda (coke company!) and some house made beverages. Always a delicious meal. This is the only brick and mortar location I've ever been to - and though I liked the Cheeseboy that was here years before, Chicken and Rice guys is a step up. (The cheeseboy lives on in a rectangular garbage slot in the center trashcan console that is the exact shape of the cheeseboy sandwich boxes)My less favorite things.The Kiosk is right in front of the door, so if a customer is slow at the kiosk, folks queue up and block the door. I'm also not a fan of the hard plastic to go containers.“

Crowd favorite: Meatballs in red sauce Lasagna: Big portions but were truly loaded with ricotta cheese, so I'd say these could use a little more red sauce and a little less ricotta cheese Cannoli's: Super yummy. We got them dipped in chocolate and also plain which were both amazing Chicken cutlet: Very good addition to have Next time you're looking for a big order for a party or a gathering, try Spinelli's!“

“What a great little place. My husband & I stopped in today for a couple of apps & drinks. The bartender was attentive & the food was very good. The customers were friendly. I have been in the food & beverage business for quite some time & owned a few restaurants. This is a hidden gem. I can tell you that this place is well taken care of & very clean. “Compliments to the chef! I ordered catering through Rita's for my birthday dinner. It was very last minute but they were able to make it happen! Fiona, though very busy (holiday season) was so supportive throughout the process. The food was AMAZING!! Everything was tasty - no salt or pepper needed - absolutely flavorful. The apps were great - tequila lime chicken skewers, beef skewers, crab cakes, shrimp and charred corn, citrus scallops - all delectable! For the main dish, they recreated this sea bass dish with bouillabaisse, clams, and potatoes! Again, super tasty!! Would recommend them for any small or large gathering - true professionals!!“

“Capers did the catering for our wedding on 10/8. Our previous caterer had to cancel on us and Capers stepped up and blew us away. We had duck for dinner and lamb for appetizers! We had vegan and gluten free guests and they loved their options as well, don't worry. Their tasting room was fun too!“

“I live right down the street from Revive and honestly always forget that it's right there! I haven't tried their food yet but I typically get the PB cup protein smoothie and love how thick the consistency is. This time, I decided to try the tropical green smoothie and it is amazing. This is the small size and is a good size since it's very thick. It was ~$9 and some change, which is a little pricey for the size, but the taste and quality makes up for the price. I have also had their smoothie bowls, which were okay. I know there's playa bowl close by, however, personally Revive just does it for me! There's parking available on the street, as well as a lot in the back. The workers are also pretty nice and friendly. They have a cute patio area where you can sit outside; nice for the summer time. Overall, I recommend this place!“
