“This is the best Chinese takeout we have found in the area - we drive here from Waldorf to pick it up because it really is better than any other place we have found. The only one that comes close is Hunan Star in La Plata but this is still preferred. My husband loves their General Tso chicken and I'm a big fan of their Egg Foo Young. Portion sizes are large so we always have leftovers! Worth the drive to Manokeek!”

“First time ordering from this restaurant and we were very pleasantly surprised, everything was delicious! The kitchen has 3 different cooks and they all make their menus, take out only. The employees are exceptional, very friendly and truly grateful for the business. We ordered salmon stuffed with crab meat. It was an dish that you don't see often and it was great, good size as well. We also got fried shrimp, they were very tender and done just right. I loved the mac and cheese, I appreciate it wasn't the common instant cheese sauce, but an actual smokey cheese. The employee Sam was great, opened boxes for us and showed everything we're getting, thanked us for coming and encouraged us to come back. They'll be making family size dishes for holidays as well. We'll definitely be back.”

“Our search may finally be over. Today we sampled the cuisine here and were not disappointed. The reviews I have read do not paint a detailed picture, so I figured I’d give you an update.

The restaurant is off of the highway making it convenient on your way to/from work. The parking lot and building are somewhat stashed behind other shops though, slightly confusing.

The service was good, though they still have the glass window and speaker system architecture in place. (Somewhat hard to hear him speak) I suspect a remaining circumstance of COVID.

I ordered the Mongolian beef w/white rice, General Tso’s Chicken w/white rice and the General Tso’s chicken wings w/fried rice. The entree flavors were all delicious and the white rice was average as expected. The chicken wings were small, but I ordered 10 and it actually came with 12. (I suspect to compensate for the size)

The only bad note I have for the food is regarding the “fried rice”. It is in fact a yellow rice, likely steamed, and tossed with bean sprouts and onions. It lacks all flavor, and definitely missed the mark for “fried rice”. I will not be ordering this item again.

Otherwise all three dishes were ready in 15 minutes, and I got a free shrimp egg roll for ordering over a certain amount. (Egg roll was average, needed duck sauce) My total was $42.

“Had an issue with the app. CiCi the manager accessed the issue and made things right with a smile. She was polite, attentive and understanding. She even pointed out the survey on the back of the receipt for free food, who doesn’t like free food? Shiiiddddd, My big back self love free food! Haha. Her customer service skills are very exceptional. I appreciate you CiCi, keep being great! Her team has great customer service skills as well.”

“The Prime Rib sandwich and the Mediterranean Salad were excellent and the servings were generous. Great place for watching games as they have many TVs set at different games. Placement of TVs are set so you can see several games at one time. Cam was our waiter. He had an outgoing personality and great sense of humor. He provided excellent service. I highly recommend Tom’s Watch Bar.”

“Pizza is fantastic. It's not cheap because they're not cheaply made. They take a lot of time preparing their crust, and their cheese pizza is award winning.
Unfortunately, with upwards of 13 of them at work on a Friday night in such a small space, watching them fumble around is akin to Keystone Cops at work. It's a hectic period and best avoided as opportunites for mistakes on your order exponentially increase. What's particularly sad is how they react to such order mistakes, placing a remake order back to the end of the queue rather than priority 1, and making you wait another 30-45 minutes for your order that they messed up.
I personally think during these busy periods is when it would be best to just order slices to go.
I truly wouldn't come back here if the pizza wasn't a 5-star.”

“Randomly found out about this place after having dinner with a friend at the sushi restaurant upstairs. It looked like a cute modernly decorated bar once we entered and it was. The music was GREAT, the bartenders were lovely and super attentive! The drinks had delicious interesting flavors and definitely gave you that kick you’re looking for after midnight. We got to sit at the bar to enjoy your cocktails.”
