“I was looking for a black owned establishment that provided juice cleanses near me. I learned about JuiceIsLife through my gym which stocks a few of their juices. When I was ready to begin my 3 day cleanse, I contacted the owner and my juices were ready in no time. All the juices taste amazing. They are all in 12oz bottles. It was super easy to follow their plan and I successfully completed my 3 days. They do offer a 5 day cleanse plan as well. I would definitely recommend them for awesome tasting juices!“
“I stopped by here over the summer. I was mistakenly charged twice for my order. I got in touch with corporate who got in touch with the franchise owners. They emailed me offering to fix the mistake and give me a free smoothie for my trouble. Because I’m not in this area frequently, I waited a month or so before returning to the store. I explained the situation to the manager on duty. She was extremely helpful (I wish I recalled her name - waiting again to write this and it escapes me now). Apparently they have a system where the owners copy them on emails when needed so she had record of the incident too. She did a wonderful job helping to remedy the situation in a manner which was easy to me as a customer and showed they cared about me as a patron. I had lunch while there this time around as well as a smoothie. Highly recommend the pesto chicken sandwich. It was delicious.“

“On a recent work trip to DC we were looking for pre-event fuel. Smoothies are the perfect snack to leave you feeling full but with the pep in your step you need to host an event. We all opted for the Blue Mystique which has banana, spirulina, banana, pineapple and mango. I added protein to mine and it was tropical, refreshing and delicious. They offer toasts, bowls, juices, smoothies and coffee. This seems like a great grab and go healthy option if you're in the area, and there are quite a few of these around town. Parking is a bit tricky in this area but thankfully we were a group so we hopped out of the car to order with ease.“
“Zen Press is pretty difficult to find even if you’re just walking by, although it is surely worth looking for without a doubt. While the menu seems a little pricy, you can customize your order to bring down the total cost. They offer a nice tranquil space. Dogs are allowed and they even have a dog that roams the diner (which belongs to one of the chefs). I think the food is some of the best you may ever have.“

“I ordered two cake slices and a Swiss roll to bring to a dinner and they were all delicious! The cake and frosting are not too sweet, and the fruit flavors taste like fresh fruit. The packaging is cute and makes each cake slice look like a gift. The store has lots of Japanese treats as well as the baked goods, and I will be returning to try more things.“

“Food is out of this world, great!!! I don't know how they create such great tasting food without animal products, but they do it, and they do it well. Service is "good," but would be so much better if the servers would pep-up, smile, and get excited about the fact that they are providing what so many people in the county have been looking for. Healthy food choices. Many restaurants come and go in the county, and I believe that the ones that don't make it are those that have not stressed the importance of the "customer experience" to their staff. I LOVE the food at this establishment, but if I continually feel like the staff is only tolerating me, for a check; or they're not invested in the owner's success, I know that I won't continue making the trip. The first time I came, there was a young lady who took me through all the food and offered samples. She's the kind of person that belongs out front. But in more recent experiences, some staff barely look you in the eyes, and they're speaking so low that when you ask a question, you hardly hear the answer. I STILL rate this restaurant HIGHLY!!!! Getting the staff onboard to be as excited about the customer's experience as the customer is about the food would make this establishment #1 in the Prince George's County vegan restaurant space. And possibly #1 in the DMV and beyond.“
