“Had dinner before the Oh He Dead concert on Saturday December 17, 2022. We arrived a little before our seating and immediately were greeted and taken to our spots. Ian was outstanding! He was attentive, descriptive and helped create a good experience. Dan, our bartender, was magnificent. He created delectable cocktails and we also chatted along the way (we had bar seats which I highly recommend). This was very reasonably priced, we left very filled and happy. I want to give the highest possible compliments to Ian and Dan. The entire experience was perfect, largely because of the great food, but they took the experience well beyond a 1 star evening!“
“Had incredible time here for happy hour. I recommend the pomegranate margarita, and the mojito. The quesadilla was amazing and so were the pork and beef tacos. Beautiful atmosphere and the staff was excellent. FYI happy hour is for the bar only so don’t worry about booking a reservation if you’re looking to do happy hour.“
“The food was fantastic! The service was fantasticOverall a fantastic experience. We had a awesome time dining with Rose's the staff was very nice and very accommodating to our dietary restrictions. We also received various items that we off the menu that were excellent. And they gave us a treat to take home. I would definitely recommend Roses, P&P, and Little Pearl. Trust me, they won't let you down.“
“I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in. The staff was warm and inviting, and so was the decor and fragrances. I detected a hint of incense and palo santo. I recommend the hearts of palm salad, the Causa, and scallops to warm up. The fish was superbly executed, but the name of the fish escapes me. We had ours served cold (dry aged?) with the Rocoto sauce which was mild yet fantastic. The pisco sour coctail enhanced the flavors for me. My overall impression was that all flavors are somewhat mild but not boring, everything tastes super fresh; and like one at our table mentioned, you can almost taste every single ingredient but in a good way.“
“Very nice place worth a look, with a wonderful collection of drinks that cover the entire walls of the building. We were treated to very pleasant service with a waiter who took the time to take care of us and with whom we were able to chat. He is very very jovial. The food was, although conventional, very tasty. The meat was excellent. In short, we had an excellent time in this bar-restaurant which we would recommend.“
“This place was an absolute delight. The ambiance was sexy as was the food. I am so happy my table ordered the inquisitive. It was a wonderful array of food, perfectly portioned and flavorful. The mock tail menu was a pleasant surprise. The customer service personable and professional.“
“Went for my daughter's birthday.Food was above average, the star i took away was due to kebab being burnt from one side ,but the rest tasted great .The ribs, adana and everything we ordered tasted like authentic turkish food. There was one man on the floor who was running like a headless chicken but was serving 6 tables. The place was jam packed and a bit noisy for us, therefore, took a star away. The manager was great because he catered my request.Overall a good experience.RecommenedParking: Parking lot right next to the restaurant. We paid $13 for 2 hours on Saturday. It was not charging hourly but for just parking so flat rate“
“We are obsessed with Revelers hour! It’s so cozy inside and the food is always delicious - the garlic knots are a must. Great alternative to tail up goat , more food for less price! Our waiter was great at selecting wines for our table. Also good for vegetarians too - plenty of options I could choose from! The tortelli and the ceaser are some of our favorites.Vegetarian options: Multiple pastas and appetizers for vegetarians!“
“Bottom line up front, Cranes is a MUST for DC’s Winter Restaurant Week! From the hostess's accommodation of our late arrival, friendly greeting, and front door coat check to our waiter’s, Elmer, and wait staff’s attentive service throughout our visit, Cranes was superb! The Faux-jito, Squash Hummus, Ramen, and Iberico Pork Fried Rice were fantastic! When there was a problem with our bill, it was quickly resolved. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend!!!“
“Carlos was the best bartender and the food was deliciousParking: The parking is free on the street which is wonderfulKid-friendliness: You can also bring your family and friends as well. The food is great with vegan choices and my favorite is the spicy chicken ramen if you like to eat meat?“
“I hadn’t been here in years since they changed ownership. Looking at some of the reviews I was leery. Boy am I glad that I didn’t listen. Went here for dinner last night and everything was absolutely delicious. The fried chicken, fried catfish, lambs, crab cakes and sides of Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, collards, potato salad, and corn bread were all superb. It definitely tasted like eating at your grandmothers. The potato salad was just like my Gma’s; finely diced with celery, celery seed, and a slight tang of mustard accompanied by a slight sweetness. The collards are vegan hence no meat but were still delicious, tender, and flavorful. The drinks were delicious as well. The portion sizes were quite large with everyone having leftovers except for the lamb chops they were so delicious that my friend ate all of them. Matter of fact when she accidentally attempted to cut them with the wrong side of the knife it still went through. Couldn’t recommend more supporting this black owned business.“
“I really liked everything about this place. Food was fancy/good but still fairly affordable (about ~$40/person for lunch). Our waiter was just such a delight, I don't remember his name (I wish I did) but he was friendly and funny ?♥️“
“The clams were amazing! All of the food is super fresh and delicious! The atmosphere is amazing and the dancing is incredible! The service is great and everyone is so nice! Definitely recommend, the food is very authentic and is to die for!“
“Discovered it when visiting DC. A comfy and cosy spot for an Armenian snack (and coffee if you are into that). Ordered a Lahmajun and Soujuk for a small lunch and they were both so satisfying in flavour and texture =)It would be one of my go to places if I lived in this city. Highly recommended.(If you are tea/tea-latte drinker like me then there unfortunately isn't a drink for us...)“
“The Fountain Inn is beautifully designed, cocktail lounge, whiskey and craft drinks bar in the upper Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, DC. We came in a group of four and really enjoyed the unique setting, classic decor, their absolute dedication to the bar craft, amazing selection of unusual whiskey and gin, innovative drinks and very knowledgeable service. The Fountain Inn felt perfect for a late night drink, or a before dinner hop-in. The Fountain Inn is a very small and beautiful place with a speakeasy vibe, you definitely need a reservation here. It could get loud due to it's small size.Service was very helpful and steered each of us toward perfect drink and booze choices! The Fountain Inn is absolutely perfect for trying something new, exploring new brands or flavors of your favorite liquor. “This is a great spot with a warm vibe. It looks small in entering, but there's additional seating in the back. The service is excellent too. The food came out in less than 20 minutes, and the portions are a good size. Just enough to fill you, but not so much you have leftovers. I had the salmon burger and fries, both were cooked perfectly - the fries were crisp and the salmon was juicy. Both were too lightly seasoned for me but still enjoyable. I appreciated that neither were salty. I'll be back to try other options.Parking: Street parking may require you to walk a few blocks.“
“We stopped in on a busy Saturday without a reservation. The staff worked hard to squeeze our party of four in at the chef’s counter and we were seated within five minutes of our arrival. We were so grateful! The food and drinks were awesome and it was really fun to watch the kitchen work. Lots of menu options for the vegetarians in our group. Can’t say enough good things about the experience - great food, terrific service, fun atmosphere. Will keep this restaurant on our short list!“
“Don’t let Atxondo’s modest looks deceive you. I was skeptical but some friends wanted to try this place so I went along. I was very pleasantly surprised. We ate vegetarian and everything was excellent. I can recommend the brussel sprouts, tortilla española, crispy potatoes, coliflor, golden beets, fried shishitos, and risotto. I almost forgot to mention the interesting drink menu and the best flan I’ve ever had. Service was great too. Go with a group so you can try everything!“
“Guys - if you like cider even a little bit, you have to come here. The cider is dry, flavorful, and delicious (without random sugar added). The atmosphere is hip, the lights are ambient, and Liz is (out of this world) attentive to all your food and beverage needs. COME GET ANXO! PS - you can bring your friendly dogs too.“
“I don't think it's clear that this place is located within a hotel. So, for starters walking around trying to find the place is a bit frustrating. The food, however, was very delicious. We did the Sangria Sin Fin option for brunch. Bottomless Sangria is what made this brunch stand out from others There wasn't a dish we didn't enjoy. I was disappointed that I could not have unlimited red Sangria because it wasn't available so I had to settle for Peruvian Sangria. I do not like that a credit card is required for reservations. In fact, I almost didn't go because of this feature. It's confusing to require a credit card but it's not charged for a deposit or anything. When paying I assumed they already had my card on file since it was necessary to book but they didn't so I'm not sure of the point of requiring a credit card. Additionally, it could be the time we chose but other groups seemed to be noisier than necessary including some children screaming. We were seated in a corner away from other tables but were still shocked by the noise. Overall I'd try again sometime in the distant future.“
“I had the experience with Brunch, where I was able to try a little of everything.Cassava is delicious and makes you miss Brazil; the Beans disappointed me a little; the banana dessert is delicious and the rest of the dish is normal. The service is good and I was served in Portuguese.“
“Energetic atmosphere at brunch, very good small plates. We had the roast carrot dip w naan, beef shishlik, charred prawns, duck confit benedict, and Liege waffle. The carrot dip, beef, and waffle were especially tasty. They have art by local artists for sale on the walls, giving an interesting visual component to the restaurant experience. Two small criticisms: The coffee was strong enough to use in batteries, and for a party of two, the small table meant that ordering any more than two dishes at a time resulted in frustrating dish juggling. We will definitely return with a larger group.“
“Enjoyed sharing many of the tapas style items on the menu with our team after a long day on the convention floor. The Duck was so good I'm still thinking about it two days later. The baklava and ice cream skillet that finished our meal was the best tasting version I've ever had.“
“My husband, myself, and our three sons dined here last night. It was a such a wonderful and unique experience from start to finish. We had the pasta paella, the oxtail croquettas, the pork belly bao, the ceviche for dinner. For dessert we had the jelly like pie, the cafecito, and the chocolate and mango/passion fruit ice creams. The music and atmosphere were so dreamy. The decor was so beautifully interlaced together with tropical plants and midcentury modern furniture and fixtures. We will be back on our next trip to the DC area.“
“The Girls were very thick, I blew all my rent money on them and didn’t even get a private dance ?? I have been living in the dumpster behind this place and it is a D1 dumpster, I did get into a fight with a homeless man also, and one of the bouncers fought the Rabid HObo and I am free now, The Vietnamese are looking for me also because I set off one of their traps. And the same bouncer fought The Vietnamese with me??“
“Absolutely amazing dinner at El Techno for my birthday. Vibes were immaculate, birria ramen bomb was in the top 5 things I've ever eaten. Staff were friendly and helpful, but didn't hover, absolutely perfect. Margaritas were delicious. The owner, Louie, came by and introduced himself and made sure everything was great. Honestly couldn't ask for a better dinner for the price.“
“Very fast and friendly service. The Manachego and Serrano croquetas were delicious. Also tried eggplant caponatta, pork pinxos, the Spanish tortilla and the mini churros. All delicious. Our servers were very courteous. This is the second location I visit (Philadelphia in 2022) and still very happy about this place.“
“Scallops… were just WOW! Shrimp with Garlic was Spicy and perfectly cooked! Everything was hot, fresh and very, very tasty. Have a Riviera Mojito or their Red Sangria… Everything was excellent and prices were very reasonable! We will Definitely be back!“
“We had a great experience here. The complimentary bread was delicious. I got the pappardelle with Wild mushrooms and it was packed with umami flavor and the butter sauce was very unctuous. My wife got the gnocchi and she love it, the sauce had a lot of flavor. The service here was exceptional as well. We would definitely go back.“
“Excellent, attentive, and friendly service! Food was very good but a little oily for many dishes I tried. Their tables are way too small for tapas, as of course you order multiple dishes. We were completely out of space to put the food. I also dislike when restaurants have all high top tables with high stools - not comfy to balance on, especially if you're not a small person.“
“Came to their brunch with my family, the service was amazing. We did not have to wait for our reservation, our food came out quickly and on time. The staff had a great teamwork atmosphere and worked together and it flowed well. The food tasted great and portioned well!. Shout out to our waitress Mariama who made sure we were taken care of and was very sweet and personable. I will be coming back!! :)“
“An absolute lovely experience at Barcelona Wine Bar. The floor to ceiling windows, the lighting, the ambiance, the food options, the tapas, the beverages, the service… everything was top tier and wonderful. I highly recommend the beef empanadas, grilled chicken, olive oil pancakes, patatas, and paella. My lovely spouse and I enjoyed a mid day date here and had Bernardo & Sydney as servers who were more than accommodating and helpful. The recommendations exceeded our expectations and now we’re full and ready for a nap. Bring your loved ones here or anyone you’d love to impress. You won’t regret it!“
“Unfortunately this used to be a good restaurant but it has gone totally downhill. After telling the waiter three times I would like my steak medium and my partner steak medium rare they couldn’t get that right and when we advise them of their mistake the waiter and the manager both laughed and said o well sorry. I’m not the only one I had a friend that ate here a few weeks ago and told me it went downhill also. So they gave us a $10 discount on a $200 bill“
“We love the food here. There are many good options although we often go back to same ones because they are so good - Montaditos, Buey al Jerez, patatas bravas, esparragos, chuleta, veiras, to name just a few. With the great choices even the younger members of the family find food they love. And the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We've eaten here for many years and will continue to do so!“
“I’ve been wanting to go to Cork for years, and never made it in, so I finally made a reservation for a Friday night and I’m so glad that I did. At first I didn’t even know there was an upstairs section, but we were seated upstairs and it was a very nice atmosphere. Cozy and comfortable and and excellent place to enjoy a glass of wine or have a meal. Our server was very welcoming and clearly knew his stuff. We know a little about wine but not enough to be successful, so we really appreciated the recommendations. I think we could have used a bit more attention during the night but our server was also tending to the bar patrons, so this was neither here nor there. While we did not have dinner the menu, though focused, looked excellent. My one negative comment would be related to the vintners plate (read charcuterie board) which while $24, had nearly nothing on it. However this seems to be the norm in DC these days unfortunately. Overall I would say a very nice experience and definitely would be a repeat visitor.“
“This place really deserves 10 stars, the food was exceptional and the service was top notch! I have been to Michelin rated restaurants that cannot compete with this place. Me and my wife came here for a wedding anniversary dinner during our visit to the cherry blossom festival staying for an extended amount of time. The first server Maher and the second server Cassie both are super professional, went above and beyond, we never felt rushed. We never had a dull moment over dinner and we never felt pushed. Next time we are in DC we will be back here!“
“The staff was nice, I saw a photo online that was on their site because pink is my favorite color. Even though they didn't know what it was. They did their best to duplicate it. The drink was good and got me right. I'll be back soon. Thank you staff.“
“Thoroughly enjoyed the creamy pesto pasta with grilled chicken. Caesar salad was also excellent, I do wish there were more croutons though. The Rosa sauce (the star of the dish) with cheese ravioli was tasty. The kids orecchiette pasta with pomodoro was a hit.Would recommend this place. The outside patio had perfect weather.“
“Honestly, for a hotel restaurant, this is easily one of the better ones that I’ve been to.All of their food is really high-quality and made with care. And surprisingly, their prices are reasonable.I highly recommend the pan seared salmon as the salmon is super crispy, while the curry and noodles make an excellent dish. The shredded papaya salad on top gives a nice acidity and crunch to the entire dish and brings it together.I also really enjoyed their apple dessert that has a cookie, apple, mousse, and two or three other variations of apple to go onto the dessert.“
“We hosted a happy hour at the brig -- and had such a great time! Clifton was a breeze to work with; once we confirmed our event date, we paid a deposit that went straight to food orders day-of. We arrived a bit early and found that the tented area had been roped off as reserved--it was the perfect space for nearly 50 guests that came and went over the course of 3hrs. Food was delicious, bar as easy to mobile order from with options for every palate. We will definitely be back!“
“Great food here. I've had the beef and chicken burgers, the knife-cut noodles with tofu, and the eggplant, potato and pepper noodles. Everything is delicious. It's a very no-frills environment inside, so don't expect anything fancy, but the food is excellent. Do be prepared to be tasting garlic all day after your meal.“
