“Harvest Thyme Tavern is one of our most favorite restaurants in the DMV, yet a neighborhood gem. We probably eat here more than most go out to dinner in a month. I admire the family ownership and commitment to running the establishment on a daily basis. The food is sourced from our local farmers and that’s just another reason we love this place. The quality ingredients make all the difference in the food and the cocktails. Burgers, fish, salads, pasta and pizza no one else comes close to. Everything here tastes amazing. Pam has desserts to die for, always a select menu and then she has daily offerings that will have you questioning which one to go for. Have no doubt you will love everything! Hands down the best Spicy Cadillac Margarita and that alone speaks volumes. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The staff is always accommodating, personal, professional and friendly. “I hosted a board of directors meeting here and it was amazing. The second floor space was more than enough for our group of 25. The atmosphere was relaxing and food was delicious. We enjoyed getting to know the staff members and they did a great job taking care of us. If you are looking for a space to host a private event, I highly recommend.“

“Really outstanding food! Appetizer of mozzarella with pesto and a bit of eggplant hiding under it. We had the spotted hog pizza with various pork products on it. I'm not sure what exactly made it taste so good, but it did. Based on reviews, I made sure we had room for dessert and it did not disappoint. Mine was the bread pudding - which the reviews said we should get. It was a delicious comfort dessert. Some might find it too sweet. He had the fruit crumble. It was supposed to be apple, but it tasted more tart like rhubarb so we were glad he'd also got a scoop of ice cream.“

I just ordered the burger to go and oh my…. This may be one of the best burgers I have ever had. From the toasted bun, the excellent medium rare temp, the perfect amount of pickles, and the sauce. “Cute Italian restaurant with modest inside decor. We ate outside at their sidewalk tables on a nice spring evening. It was mid-week and therefore quiet along the street. The food was fresh, good size portions, and reasonably priced. The Penne Vesuviana with sweet sausage was delicious, but the Clams Linguini was too bland. Our waitress Maddie was delightful and very attentive as is Erin, the owner. For casual dining, especially al fresco (outside), it's perfect. On Wednesdays, most wines are 50% off, which is another nice offering.“

They were very mindful of this and got out a clean spoon and also took out a new tub of the ice cream flavor that she wanted. It was very much appreciated. Not a whole lot of seating in there, but why sit when you could explore the area while eating your ice cream?“

“Brought my son who turned 15 today and a few of his friends in for a last stop bite to eat before heading back home to Calvert County, from a long day of fun. I met the owner as we came in. He was such a nice guy. Made us feel right at home, had the boys pick out their drinks and grab a seat while he worked on making the pizzas. He had them out in record time, and the pizza was amazing. I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t tried this spot, to drop in.“

“When visiting Annapolis, visit Jalapeños! My new favorite place. Spanish style restaurant with flare. Dont let the outside strip mall window scare you! The stunning beauty of this restaurant feels like Spain. Lots of space for large parties & children. Prices range fair to great! An entire menu section devoted to tapas! Flavorful Food is thoughtfully and beautifully prepared. The warm atmosphere is friendly and inviting. My friend ordered chicken and I had chile relleno. The beans & rice were delicious and delicately seasoned. The chicken chile relleno was smothered in tangy salsa verde and cooked perfectly.While I would have preferred larger pieces of chicken instead of shredded chicken, the dish worked. It's not spicy and not over salted. Felt full and satisfied. We will return to try more dishes.“

“Yum. Had a great Margarita - custom, just lime juice, no sour mixer....didn't have to be Patron, just good tequila. Since my first time here, tried the enchiladas- pollo, chorizo and carnitas. But I asked for 1/2 mole and 1/2 salsa verde and they accommodated.. All of it was very tasty. The mole was excellent and each enchilada was very nice flavor. Service was fast and polite. Atmosphere was nice, what I would call modern Latino versus traditional music. Got to watch the game too. Nice selection of tequila. I will be back. Can't wait to try the house specialities.“

“I went today for the first time and it's going to my new sushi spot. We moved to the area almost 2 years ago and have been trying all the spots. This place just blew me away. Sushi is such a personal experience and this felt like home. The atmosphere was cozy and friendly. They have a robust menu outside sushi. I also really liked their specialty roll options. Less sauces and lots of fresh options. The miso soup was flavorful and rich with seaweed. My family and I are going to be new regulars.“

Highly recommend!We’ve been going here for years and have told all of our neighbors it’s the best sushi in Annapolis. Unfortunately, the last 2 times we ordered we’ve been really disappointed with the quality of the fish. The yellow tail has been chewy and overly fishy, the tuna was such a deep red it looked like it had been dyed and had no flavor, and the scallop was just a mess of mush and again overly fishy. I shared out disappointment with a mgr who said she was going to call me back and never did. Not sure we’ll be back, such a bummer.“

“My wife and I are Sushi lovers! As we were looking for a place to eat and not having reservations at our first stop, which was full, we walked on and came across Joss Sushi Bar. WHAT a GREAT find! From the street you see the main bar and not the full sushi bar or rest of restaurant, which is towards the back. Nice layout! We ordered edamame and 5 Shrimp tempura and not only were they large, they were cooked to perfection. We then ordered two rolls, a Tuna Avocado and a Spicy Tuna. Both rolls were EXCELLENT! All our food was VERY fresh and tasted great. We also ordered a nice hot Sake, recommended by our waitress, who was excellent and explained everything thoroughly. The Price, Food and Service was outstanding. Would highly recommend!“

“Great experience here. The crab cake in the crab cake sandwich was huge and it was so worth it. Our server Jeanette was one of the best we have had in a while. Very friendly, efficient and informative. We wanted to try one of the milkshakes where you get to keep the glass, but after seeing the portions of the food had to decide against it. Very busy but for good reason. The wait was about 15 min at around 11am on a Sunday.“
