“After hearing great reviews, we were eager to try out this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful ambiance. The Thai design elements, including large fixtures on the ceiling, added a unique touch to the décor. While the food looked and tasted good overall, it was a bit too sweet for our personal preference. Nevertheless, the service was fantastic and contributed to a great overall experience.“
“Great, friendly service! I had a lot of questions about the food and they answered patiently. Food was sooo good. My first Bing impressions: delightful and satisfying. Rose milk tea was divine as well. Looking forward to my next visit. Thank you for a great experience.“
“I never knew this little spot existed prior to today! Anyways, I ordered my favorite dishes - spicy sichuanese fried chicken and tofu and fish - and the food was quite good! Glad I discovered another Chinese restaurant to add to my short list.“
“I have a love/hate relationship with this place. When it comes to events, everything is at the lobby once you walk in and it's filled with neon lights, a dimly lit bar full of many offerings of alcohol you can get, a few small sections for VIP for your friends, and usually a DJ playing their music. There's open karaoke as well but I don't know if people sing often in the lobby. So I have been here many times for my friends and even booked a room as well. Rooms are spacious and they do have pretty nice audio. But there is one thing that truly irks me every time I come here. So they have a touch screen where you can add your karaoke songs through YouTube or through their system but getting the videos to load is a pain. It's annoying to deal with because it skips to the next song in queue so if you are with a group of 5+ more people, it can be very stressful. The worst part is we asked the staff about it and they aren't really sure what to do about the connection. I mean they should really fix that because I'm sure it gets people upset. No one wants their song to be skipped. Aside from that, you can also hear the loudness from other rooms, I don't expect that to be an issue but it's noticeable on busy nights. If you do plan to go here, there's one thing I highly advise before going. Check their socials if they are hosting any event and call ahead to know about the room rates. The website shows their original flat rates for the room but in events, they raise the prices up. If you go in person, check the menu before deciding to put your money down. This place also adds gratuity to the bill so be prepared to drop down a lot. While I frequently come back here just to hang out with friends, karaoke is one of my favorite hobbies. Its never a good time when your song doesn't get played or you get charged way more than you should.“
“Came here on a Saturday night, food was excellent but pricey for what it was. Maybe it's because I've been to many mom and pop spots in Queens NY with just as delicious food for half the price nevertheless its a great spot. Highlights include the soup, dumplings, and any of the hand pulled noodle dishes.“
“Oh wow such a hidden gem. The food was amazing ask for TJ. He was amazing. Great service and so attentive. We enjoy our food so much. The curry puffs were so good the apps was 10/10 that I tried. I didn’t try the crab Rangoons or dumplings since it had shrimp & crab in it. I wanted all chicken. Such a cute experience I will come back. The food was busin busin.“
“I’m not vegan but I’d heard many positive things so I had to check it out. What a great surprise. No wonder the place was packed. I had a white pizza with leaks and smoked mushrooms. It was large enough to feed 2 especially if you get an appetizer.A little on the pricey side but the quality of the food and very friendly service are very worth the cost.“
“When I tell you my toes curled at first bite it would not be an understatement...our server Faith made me feel as if I was the oyster and the food was my pearl. Will definitely come again for the roti. This sheer joy and euphoria I experienced with Faith as my server is second best to that of my 3rd wedding.“
“Oh my gosh where do I start? The food is amazing as usual and the mini pork belly bao buns were so tasty and the loaded tots paired with the Yuzu Palmer drink is a match made in heaven. I loved the dessert here too especially the birthday cake loaf and this is gonna be my go to place every week and the owner is super kind and exerts positive energy and amazing customer service to make everyone feel welcome! That beef krapow empanada with that sauce was right on the money!!“
“I did a carry out. Being my first time, I was given recommendations by what looked to be an owner/operator. He was very accommodating as was the young lady present who was doing most of the cooking. The food were fresh and delicious. A huge thumbs up!“
“First time here in Downtown Alexandria. Service was excellent, fast and polite. Food was amazing. Offer over looked are the bathrooms. Very clean. Great decor and atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again. If you are in the area, stop by and try their food. You will not regret it.“
“The Best Ramen House In the World ?. The Ramen was Outstanding with flavor and levels of Hotness... Huge College Spot for The Youth.. but the Ramen was Beautiful and very Tasty...Vegetarian options: Yes they Have Vegetable Ramen it's Miso“
“Wow everything we tried looked beautiful and tasted amazing. Pork and kimchi potstickers, veggie dumplings, green beans, and smashed salmon are what we tried. I don’t think you can go wrong. Love that you can order everything through toast tab too. Makes it simple.“
“It's been so exciting to see an entirely plant-based concept be so successful and expanding so rapidly and now that I have visited I absolutely see why. This was one of the best meals I've had in a while. My friend and I had been dying to try their plant-based sushi and not only did it blow us away but the other dishes we tried were equally as incredible. Here's what we got for two people. We were quite full and took some leftovers: - ahi watermelon nigiri (2 pieces) x 2: If you didnt know this was made of watermelon you could absolutely mistake it for the real thing. The texture is mind blowing and the flavor is on point. Amazing way to start the meal (and end it because we ended up ordering another round to finish our meal) - unagi eggplant nigiri (2 pieces) x 2: So delicious. Definitely must order. The eggplant is super tender, just like eel. - spicy tuna roll: we ordered the hand roll but I think the server misheard so we ended up with the maki but it wasn't a big deal and i wasn't upset to get to try their take on maki rolls. I think their rice could use some work but this was still tasty! - Dan Dan noodles: incredible. Our server advised us to get the Dan Dan noodles over the Singapore noodles entirely because of the saucy-ness of this dish and he did not steer us wrong. These noodles are drowning in sauce (in the best way) Even though it's a peanut sauce it was perfectly balanced and creamy. The noodles themselves had a great chew and the use of kamut (a grain) in the dish as a substitute for the traditional ground pork was inspired. - bang bang broccoli: broccoli has never tasted this good. I mean it, not only is the broccoli is shockingly crispy while being perfectly cooked through the center, but the broccoli itself tasted so creamy and delicious unlike any broccoli I have had before. And the bang bang sauce is bangin too. All this being said, if you are trying to be choosy and try the most unique dishes, I would probably skip this dish in favor of more sushi. Overall, this was an incredible, unique, and innovative meal and I can't wait to go back to try more of the menu. This is how vegetables could and should taste, if only we put as much love into them as we do with meat. At least the chefs at Planta are listening.“
“These are the friendliest people in the food business. The food is good, served quickly and always with a smile, respect, and sometimes even a song. This has been a standard lunch spot for me ever since I started working in Tysons every day.“
“Zen is my "go to" place in Arlington. Cozy, intimate wine bar that's attached to Asia Bistro, a traditional Asian fusion restaurant. The staff and management are friendly, personable, and always a pleasure to chat with, which is why Zen has such a large cadre of reglars.“
“MGK is a hidden gem tucked away in the southeast area of the shopping center. Definitely the go-to place for fresh kimbap. Service has always been exceptional for us. Thank you for your delicious food, generous portions, and varied selection MGK! Enjoy!!“
“Today I was in this place, and my first impression when I saw the beef soup I ordered was that it was very good, abundant and light, we also ordered some wings with the sauces on the side, and the frying of the wings was on point, crispy and juicy inside, it has been a very good experience, pleasant music and very good service. We hope to return soon.“
“This place is always packed, and there's a reason: It is amazing. Our go to is the bubba, yummy Yama and pan fried gyoza. It's right up there with the best sushi we've ever had. And they also have subtle touches, like they put the gyoza in styrofoam containers, and then they poke holes in the styrofoam to make sure the gyoza stays crispy and doesn't soften with its own steam. Also, they will hold open the doors for you if your hands are full with a carry out order. Such nice touches!“
“I like the fusion of Japanese and Korean food and the presentation of the food in a tray is very neat. I especially enjoyed the ramen, it was very flavorful and the spicy pork katsu also was pretty good. The waiters are friendly and pleasant. You should definitely try this restaurant if you are looking for Japanese and Korean food, it has both in one!“
“We were here very recently and enjoyed every aspect of our meal. Very homely, fresh vibes with clean tables and decorative plants spread throughout. Waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. Food came out fast (appetizer first), then meals. Not a ton of rice, but meal portions were large! We had the crispy green beans, chicken green curry, and fried pork. Everything was delicious, vegetables tasted so fresh and each dish, so flavorful. Curry was incredible, but will likely order spice level 2 next time as 3 was just slightly too hot (but not unbearable).Thai iced tea offered a sweet balance to the savory and spicy flavor from the food.Looking forward to coming back and trying some more of the authentic thai dishes!“
“Great food, we ordered 2 starters and 2 entrée and they all were very flavourful. Chicken tikka pizza was good and so was the veg biryani. Biryani items were not present in menus or I wasn’t able to see them but the server helped us with it. We asked for extra hot and they made it well, try extra hot only it you can withstand it else go for mild or medium. And yes, all entrées is served along with white rice. They have few types of Indian beers priced reasonably at $6-$7 range.Overall, the place though is small it has good food and priced well.Vegetarian options: Veg Korma, Paneer tikka masala, lentil soup, veg pakora, veg biryani.“
“Treated my cousin to Sweet Ginger for his birthday and we were both amazed by the quality and quantity of food we received for the price paid. We made it easy for our patient and attentive waiter by ordering two Thai iced tea and the Bento Box A with beef teriyaki. Everything was cooked and prepared to perfection. Starting with the Thai iced tea; which was almost like a dessert. So smooth and sweet! It complimented the meal. The miso soup was comforting and had a balanced ratio of broth, tofu, greens, and green onion. The salad was fresh, crisp, and dressed with a rich and tasty peanut dressing. Of course, the highlight of our meal was the incredible bento boxes. The tempura shrimp and vegetables were my favorite. They were breaded to ideal crispiness and paired well with the soy dipping sauce. The vegetables were one big broccoli floret and large sliced carrot and zucchini medallions. The teriyaki steak was scrumptious, served on a bed of cabbage slaw with a generous amount of sauce. There was enough for me to dip other box components into, like the California rolls, tofu, and the Japanese dumpling. We dusted off everything. Not even the leftover salad dressing remained because we drank it all up! The whole experience was so much fun and we had a blast. Can't wait to go back. We left feeling satisfied and can add this to our list of happy memories!“
“Great spot for tea and healthy food, lovely presentation bento box. I had the lightly spicy vegan bean cakes today--Delicious and filling. Incredible selection of teas and tea accessories. Plesant staff. Will take friends there! Great location, tasteful casual decor, lots of windows.“
“Spices is always delicious. It’s one of our go-tos in the neighborhood and has literally never been a disappointment. When you have a spot like this, it’s not easy to remember to give them a review. It’s just such a part of our routine you forget how important online reviews are for restaurants. My personal favorites are their lychee martinis and crab wontons. The sushi is always fresh and delicious and the staff are always very kind.“
“Stopped into Kumo for some sushi and this place was popping! There were not many empty tables but I happened to find one and decided to eat inside the restaurant instead of takeout. The restaurant had a sushi specials menu as well as regular rolls; Thai, Chinese, and hibachi entrees. I could not make a a decision on what I wanted but ended up ordering the chicken with broccoli with fried rice. The fried rice is $1 extra. The chicken and broccoli came out hot! The texture of the chicken was a little off. The rice didn't come out at the same time as my entree. I also ordered the Pokémon roll. The roll was huge and very delicious. I wish the waitress would have brought out the roll and just waited for the rice to come out at the same time. I would definitely be back to try more of what Kumo has to offer.“
“First vegetarian restaurant I've been to and I enjoyed it! A friend of mind was visiting and wanted to go to this place, I'm no stranger to trying new food so I was game. Place has a real mom and pop feel and is located in Vienna. It's located in its own building on near the intersection of Nutley and Chain Bridge Road (Maple Ave). The folks there were really nice and helped me understand the items on the menu, I had no idea was burdock but the owner was really helpful in explaining what it was. The food came out great, I actually would go here again even though I am more of a omnivore.“
“We have eaten at the restaurant and take out. We have never been disappointed. The pulled chicken sandwich is so good. It is huge and the sauce they put on it is delicious. We also have done take out with their whole chicken. Great deal and very tasty. It comes with two sides. Daicon radishes and cole slaw. If you have not tried this place you should.“
“Their sushi is very good, I have already eaten there several times and have also ordered takeout. The quality of the ingredients are good and fresh. Compared to other places, its price seems more than good to me for its quality.Once I ordered rice that came with shrimp and it was also very good. It's a nice atmosphere and the service is good.Only once did a girl who served us seem to forget our table and we had to be careful to call her to come to us, but otherwise they have good service.“
“We love it! Everything is fresh and tastes good. The take away bag and packaging is excellent as well, very neat and classy.Today we had a reward from the app so we only paid a total of $6 for 2 bibibop bowls, 1 lemonade and 1 cookie!!!Please open a branch in Orlando...“
“Such a cute little modern spot. All the food was great and fresh. Fries, bao, popcorn chicken, and pork belly were all great. Good beer selection. Loved all the different beer glasses. Went in on a Sunday evening so it wasn’t very busy at all. Waiter checked on us consistently (sometimes that’s actually an issue when it’s slow, but not here!) will def be back to try the rest of the menu.Dietary restrictions: Popcorn chicken is gluten free. There are other options noted as gluten free too. Nice to have some options that aren’t boring or bad substitutes. Hard to find any sort of breaded chicken that’s gluten free. Bravo!“
“I really like the food here, especially the bulgogi and chicken teriyaki boxes. The complimentary sides you get with the box are quite refreshing, especially the kimchi, which I ended up finishing in one bite. The meats here are quite succulent, and I love how the juices drip onto the rice to create this popping, umami flavor. Green tea here was a nice refresher to satisfy my hunger.“
“The restaurant was a little busy and tables in the back where we sat were a little small. We ended up moving to the bar and after that everything was great. The crazy spider that I ordered was mild but very enjoyable. And of course the presentation is “
“This is our favorite sushi place in Old Town. Have been coming here since they opened maybe five years ago. The owner used to be a sushi chef at MoMo Sushi, which used to be our local favorite. His sushi here has consistently been top quality whereas we were disappointed with quality once or twice at MoMo and its always too cramped. We usually get the sushi combo.“
“While on a work trip to Virginia last week, I naturally had to satisfy my adventurous taste buds with some new eats. I tried Asia Bistro, located in Pentagon City. It is in this cute outdoor mall! I ordered the Strawberry Blush Boba with Coconut Milk, Steamed Chicken Dumplings, and Avocado Roll. The boba was amazing. The combination of fresh strawberry puree and creamy coconut milk was pure heaven. Seriously, the BEST boba I've ever had! The Chicken Dumplings were light, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick off my meal. The avocado roll did not disappoint! It was fresh, perfectly balanced, and just as satisfying as any avocado roll I've had elsewhere. Asia Bistro's adorable and intimate setting paired with the friendly wait staff created a delightful dining experience. The food was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced.“
“Met some friends for dinner and I really enjoy the rolls. Everything was so fresh and packed with flavor. I got the pink lady roll, French maki and the yellow tail roll. My friends got the sashimi platter. The service was decent and the server was very patient since my friends were late and he had to wait to put my order in. Over all I'd say this is a great sushi spot that I'd come back to whenever I'm in the area doing some shopping at the mall.“
“Camouflage! This daytime only, casual looking lunch spot hides great sushi.Decor is utilitarian and reminds me of Tokyo business office worker lunch spots.I've been five times and all the fish has been fresh and expertly prepared.Sushi snob makes going into the office less painful. If fish is not for you, my buddy consistently has the beef Pho and loves it. They have a few other bowls that look great.Let's fill this place up and keep it thriving! Next time, lunch omakase!“
“I'm only going to review this place for the Bubble Tea section so this is strictly for Bee's & Tea. I don't think there's a listing for it but it's inside and you order at the bar. Very interesting concept but it works. Overall, since it's inside Asia Bistro, you'll see tables for diners and lots of cool modern asian decor. Even walking in has a small fountain that is the first thing you'll see. The bar itself has the entire menu of what you could order Boba wise but you could also order alcohol too. There's many options to pick honestly. I got the Strawberry Blush drink. It's black tea that's lightly sweetened with strawberry puree with strawberry heart jelly. It's really cute! I think I should have opted to order Boba instead because the jelly takes an effort to drink through the straw. I don't really have much to say but it's boba, lots of different teas to pick from ranging from Milk/Fruit/Thai Tea/Coffee, ect with many toppings.. Can't go wrong with a nice drink after food.“
“Good food: fine quality meat (not the greatest, but good nevertheless). Excellent lady (Yao Yao) assisting at the table. Two less good points: (1) we were informed only when we arrived that we would have the table for 1 hour 45 minutes. May seem enough, but food did not start to arrive until 20 minutes had elapsed. At the end, we had to rush to finish our s'mores so we could vacate in time. (2) We had notified the restaurant that it was my son's 18th birthday, but they did not sing for him, bring out a piece of cake for him, or acknowledge in any way. Disappointing.“
“Really adorable and fun decor! I can only speak for the bubble tea which is great- not the food which I've yet to try. It's a little expensive but the drinks are worth it. My only complaint is that one cashier in this location was rude to me once, made a strange comment, although I think he left. Watch the customer service. Otherwise I'd totally recommend it and go back.“
“I tried the tofu pad see ew and it was amazing! Great flavor! The waitstaff was very kind and attentive!Dietary restrictions: They had very clear outlines of vegetarian options, and I was able to ask for them to not include eggs to make the dish vegan friendly. They also offer vegetable and tofu as options for their dishes.“
“I love the single family sized burner tables to keep small children away from hot surfaces. I also like being able to sample two broths (spicy, mild). Our server was very family friendly and that is why I recommend bringing your family to this restaurant. This restaurant fills up fast so I recommend arriving early or late to beat the crowd. I think we got the last parking spot in Stryker mall. There were three guys blocking my car upon departure but they moved upon request. We came hungry and left very full.“
“#CeliacReviews: While visiting DC, went here 2x. Beside the menu being 100% gluten-free, it’s absolutely delicious. I cannot complain about anything and I want to sing Bibibop’s praises:? Varied menu including set bowls (vegetarian option) and make your own- all big portions for a very reasonable price!? I was so happy I could finally have japchae (sweet potato noodles) and bulgogi (seasoned beef) again without worry.? Food was fresh and tasted just as good the next day.? Free miso soup in store!!? The GF chocolate chip cookie was delicious, and my non-GF friends also thought so.?? Staff was extremely friendly, pleasant and helpful during both visits!? Great rewards app, even got a free bowl.Pictured: Bibibop fan favorite & make your own bowl with their take on bulgogi.Dietary restrictions: 100% gluten-free restaurant with Korean and Japanese influences.“
“The intestines were my favorite part of the meal!! It was not too fatty and had a little kick of spice to it. If you can eat intestines, I highly recommend. It's on their new menu. Also on the new menu, we got the sweet and sour pork. The pork does have bones in it, but the sauce is delicious. This was my friend's favorite. For a veggie dish, we ordered the mapo tofu. I thought this was lacking compared to other mapo tofus I've had but I usually like more meat and smaller softer tofu in my mapo tofu. You might really like this. Service was good and quick. Everyone there spoke Chinese and were very friendly. The interior of the restaurant is decorated nicely. Check out this place for more authentic chinese food if you're in Georgetown!“
“Thai Treasure is a culinary gem that shines brightly in the constellation of local eateries. This isn't just another Thai restaurant; it's a vibrant homage to the rich tapestry of Thai cuisine, served up in a modern setting that's as inviting as a warm smile. With service that makes you feel like royalty, it's no wonder this place has become a treasure trove for those in search of flavors that transport you straight to the heart of Thailand. Our culinary expedition began with the Crab Rangoon, a playful yet sophisticated take on the classic appetizer. The delicately crispy pouches served with a side of sweet & sour sauce were a surprisingly great way to start the meal, much better than what we typically think of. It's a dish that says, "Welcome to flavor town, population: you."Then came the Lava Beef, a dish so sizzling, it could melt even the coldest of hearts. The combination of beef, onion, bell peppers, and pineapple, all lovingly tossed in a honey pepper sauce and kissed by sesame oil, was a sweet and savory ballet that pirouetted right onto our taste buds. It wasn't just hot; it was volcanic, in the best possible way.The journey continued with Pad Kee Mao, also known as Drunken Noodles. This dish, with its wide rice noodles, onion, bell peppers, tomato, and basil, was like a late-night adventure in Bangkok--bold, spicy, and utterly unforgettable. It's the kind of dish that makes you want to dance in the rain, or at least order another round.Speaking of rounds, the Panang Chicken Curry was a knockout. The spicy, rich curry, infused with the zest of kaffir lime and studded with bell peppers and broccoli, was a masterclass in balance and flavor. It was like a hug from an old friend who just happens to be a Thai spice merchant--warm, comforting, and slightly spicy. And let's not forget the cocktails and classic beverages, a liquid odyssey that's as daring as it is delicious. Thai Treasure's beverage menu is a treasure map that leads to bliss, with each drink more inventive and refreshing than the last. It's the perfect complement to a meal that's already overflowing with flavor and fun.In essence, Thai Treasure is more than just a restaurant; it's a celebration of Thai culture, cuisine, and conviviality. With its modern vibe, exceptional service, and a menu that's both adventurous and authentic, it's a place where every meal feels like a fantastic discovery.“
“It's close to home, so this is the place I go when I want Thai food! It doesn't feel like the portions are small, but the staff is friendly and since I don't like vegetables, I always ask for them to be omitted, and they listen to my requests :) I always order Pad Kra Pao, but the regular flavor isn't that spicy, so if you like spicy food, order spicier. suggestion!“
“Raku is a popular Japanese restaurant located in Washington, D.C. Known for its modern and stylish atmosphere, Raku offers a diverse menu featuring traditional Japanese dishes with a contemporary twist. Some of their specialties include sushi, sashimi, ramen, and grilled salmon ( my favorite). The restaurant is often praised for its high-quality ingredients, creative presentation, and attentive service. It's a favorite spot for those looking to experience authentic Japanese cuisine in the heart of the nation's capital.“
“I found this place just walking around DC near my job and it has really good food for decent prices and reasonable portions. The first time I went I got the chicken tenders and fries and there were like 6-7 big tenders and the tray it was in was covered in fries. I just got the mini box today with chicken teriyaki and I finished it. I recommend it to anyone going there.“
“During our visit to Washington D.C. for the Cherry Blossom Festival, my friend and I were craving the comforting taste of authentic Uyghur cuisine. After some online research, we stumbled upon a restaurant with impressive reviews. As we stepped into the restaurant, my friend was instantly hit with the nostalgic scent of home. It was a heartwarming moment for her, and I could feel her homesickness easing. We ordered Saozi noodles, Stir-Fried Rice Noodles, and lamb kababs. Each dish was a delicious fusion of flavors that whisked us away from the chaotic streets of downtown D.C. to the familiarity of home.Back from our trip, I attempted to recreate the Saozi noodles at home, but let's be honest, it didn't come close to the restaurant's version. Both my friend and I found ourselves yearning for another taste of their delectable offerings, vowing to return on our next visit to the D.C. area.I also recommended the restaurant to a friend, and they too had an exceptional experience. For those new to Uyghur cuisine and lovers of spicy flavors, I recommend trying the Stir-Fried Rice Noodles. They're a traditional local delight that's not to be missed. Our experience at this restaurant was truly memorable, and we eagerly anticipate our next visit. I sincerely hope everyone has as wonderful an experience as we did at this restaurant, and I extend my best wishes to the restaurant for continued success!“
“Firepan Korean BBQ in Falls Church offers a delightful all-you-can-eat BBQ experience. The variety of meats and sides provide a true taste of Korean cuisine. The staff is attentive and the ambiance is inviting, making it a great dining choice for BBQ enthusiasts.“
