“Friend and I decided to eat an early dinner at the Yard House. The food was absolutely amazing! We order the Spicy Jambalaya and the Nashville Hot Chicken. Both of our food came out hot, fresh, and delicious. Would highly recommend both. The waiter was very nice and answered any questions we had. I was very impressed with the large selection of beers they offered. If you're in the area and want delicious food, come to the Yard House.“
“The food was excellent, we went for burgers this time and Silver Dollar didn't disappoint with the bacon Blu cheese burger or the beyond burger my wife enjoyed. Our waiter, Earl, took great care of us. Update:. We were in this evening for breakfast. Food and service still excellent! “I wanted to stay in Annapolis but wasn't quite sure what I wanted to eat. Did a quick search and found this delight of a place. I was able to make reservations on the same day (Saturday) My wife and I arrived and were quickly seated. The restaurant has a nice intimate feel however this place was jumping. Tons of people inside with everyone having a good time. Our waitress was sweet. Made good suggestions and was very attentive. For starters we ordered the Crispy Calamri while my wife had a lemon drop for a drink. The Clamari was in fact crispy. Very solid crunch. The marinara sauce was PIPING hot. Good start to our dinner. The lemon drop was a good mix of alcohol and juice. They provide you the cup along with the remainder on the side. BIG TIME PLUS. For Dinner, I was starving. I ordered the Steak N Fries, along with the Rockfish and Not your Ordinary Mac & Cheese. The steak was delicious! Nice and juicy. Cooks to perfection. Fries were crispy. The Fish was tasty and the mashed potatoes were GREAT!!! The Mac & Cheese is definitely not ordinary. There was a tangy taste that I could do without. It was missing something but the rest of my food was so good I could easily overcook it. My wife ordered the Steak Brazil with mashed Potatoes & Broccoli. She also enjoyed her food. Broccoli was fresh. Mashed Potatoes were delicious. She preferred the filet cooked a little more but still ate them. I'd happily come back and plan on returning to J. Alexander. It was a great time. Great service, Wonderful atmosphere, and good food. I enjoyed myself.“

“A few friends and I were here for happy hour the other night and it was a nice experience. The service for happy hour was quick and the drinks were great. Our waitress who also worked the bar was great. The Brussels sprouts, crab deviled eggs, jumbo wings, and calamari were great.Parking: Parking was decent there it is connected to a hotel and there were lots of parking options.“
“We gave this place a try last week when we had a friend staying with us from out of town. It is about what you'd expect from the branding and menu! Our server was super friendly and on the ball with refilling our drinks. There was a band warming up on a Saturday night around 6/630, but the waitress said they didn't start playing until later that night (like 8 or 9pm, I forget the exact time!). It seemed like it would be loud when they started playing, though. The menu was diverse and had tons of options for everyone. We ordered two appetizers (loaded cauliflower/Brussels sprouts and steamed shrimp). Two of us ordered burgers and the third ordered a salad. The appetizers came out quickly and then less than five minutes later our entrees came out- we could have used slower pacing between the two to relax and enjoy our meal. All of the food was good- although it wasn't amazing, everything was solid. Our only complaint was that some of the shrimp were overcooked, but the majority were cooked well. While we were able to get seated right away, there was a few groups waiting by the time we left. Overall, we are glad we gave this place a try and will likely be back!“

However, discomfort from the temperature led us to request assistance from Manager Al, who promptly relocated us to a more comfortable area. Our server, Rorie, provided attentive service throughout the evening. The wine tasting experience, guided by Amy and Dee, was enlightening, helping my family member grasp the differences between the three tasting types. Thank you to Al, Rorie, Amy, and Dee for ensuring a memorable first-time visit and creating lasting memories for us.“
“Had the Garden Salad with Italian dressing. Followed by the pepper steak and rice, which wasn't exactly what I expected. The steak was slightly overcooked and the salad left something to be desired.The waitress was great and Happy Hour drinks were more than reasonable. The overall ambiance was folksy and I would definitely visit again, but next time I will refrain from ordering the pepper steak and rice.“

“Everything was great! Amazing food. Servers were patient and adorable. The one hiccup was the seating hostess- we sat at a high top and when asked if we could sit at a low table (clearly there was plenty of room) we were told (curtly) no they were full. I was shocked at the tone so I responded “yeah- I know. That's why I made reservations too”. She walked away so we tried to make ourselves comfortable. She came back and said (curt again) “Ready?” Since we didn't have menus yet I said “for what?” “To move. You asked for another table”. We were happy for the accommodation but the tone was a bit much.“
“The food at Silver Diner was incredible!! Visiting from Australia, and was the perfect place to go. Olu was our waiter, and he was super lovely. Was able to have a good laugh with him and helped us chose what to eat. 10/10 would recommend :)“

“I've walked past Martini Bar a ton of times but never stopped for a drink. I finally stopped by for a drink when I was flying out of BWI last month. My martini (I went with a classic dirty vodka martini, but they have a full menu of martinis and other cocktails) was good, and I really loved all of outlets for charging. The service was really good, and it was a great place to have a cocktail (or did I have two?) and do a little work or reading while waiting for a flight.“

“Probably the best live music venue in Anne Arundel County... not so big as to get overcrowded and chaotic, but not so small that everyone is packed in like sardines. Food is delicious, the service is solid... I don't drink, so I'm appreciative of the free water without getting judged. Compared to another larger venue near the airport, Twain's is much more comfortable and much safer. Looking forward to returning soon for some more live music.“
