“Excellent drinks and food. I am from the greater Seattle area, and it feels like a sexy downtown bar.We have been there also for a few of their events, and they were fabulous. Can not wait for better weather to enjoy their patio and a nice walk to the waterfront.“
“Potomac gardens is by far the best up and coming bar in town! My favorite spot to go anytime I can! They have wonderful bands/musicians booked all the time and they have the cutest country store attached to the bar with local vendors/artists! 10/10 recommend for anyone who wants to find their new favorite hang out spot! Oh and the people are top notch, customers and bar tenders alike! Incredibly friendly atmosphere with the best country folk around! Y’all come back now, ya hear! ❤️“
“They have been a life saver many times since moved into the area 4 mths ago. I work long hours and sometimes when I get off it's after 9pm and all the spirit stores in my area close between 8-9pm 7 days a week. So I am thankful for their awesome staff at the drive thru and look forward to my next visit. ✌️♥️“
“If this building could talk, oh the stories it would tell you! Where the locals can hang out without breaking their pocket, and have a cold cocktail or ? My grandfather, father, and family friends all used to start, or end their evenings at Andersons.“
“Great small bar & liquor store with a drive through :) People are friendly and down to earth. I love going for happy hour on a weekend afternoon and playing keno. Free popcorn with Old Bay to sprinkle on top :) Clientele is very diverse in both age & occupation - white collar, blue collar, retired folks, college kids & lot's of regular locals. I don't go on the weekend nights, but I understand it's always busy with a younger crowd. It's a piece of St. Mary's County history & worth the experience. Prices are very reasonable.“
“Solid selection! Date night was a hit...reservations recommended/required on a Friday night. We truly enjoyed the blackened Snapper, SOMD egg-rolls, and fried oysters. Beth was very attentive in taking care of us. Great crowd (hence the reservations) kept the place lively and entertaining. Worth the drive to experience this classic SOMD bar & grill. Enjoy! OBTW....don't overlook the adjacent grocery for THE BEST stuffed ham and chicken salad!“
“We arrived at this spot for a meeting. my friend recommended this restaurant. Well, we were not disappointed. the staff members were so friendly and we had a great feeling. The meal was great. We loved this spot very much and we will definitely return to this restaurant. we highly recommend this place.“
“Very nice bar. Its had been a local watering hole for a very very long time. It has updated and remodeled since the last time I was there. I love how they kept the old bar and liquor shelves but bicycles them. Very large outside bar with dance floor and seating. Great corn hole pits also. They have live entertainment every weekend and prior to Covid they also sometimes had food. Busy place with limited car parking, special parking for motorcycles.“
“Happened by here after work and gave it a try as I had commercials on the radio focused on the live music. Got a great local IPA from a local brewery across the Potomac and an ice cold glass just the right size. Lots of house made specials from an owner who is very hands on. We shared an order of the Chesapeake pay fries smothered in she crab soup and parm. They were absolutely delish and while a surprising combination paired well together. Even though it’s an hour from home, I’m already planning my next trip. Reduced hours off season so check before you go.“
“Love, love, love the Last Drop.Love the service, love the atmosphere, and the chill people who patron it.The owner has made lots of improvements over the years, and even I've done some work on this place. The dance floor is solid!I'd say if anything, this is my go-to bar.Great karaoke on Tuesday, epic open mic on Thursday. Great shows with lots of Punk, Metal, and Rock.Hell, they even have axe throwing now.So don't let the country bar motif throw you off, it's a great place for everyone.“
“This is one of the few remaining old school Southern Maryland bars. Shares the love for Mardi Gras, the Denver Broncos, and hosts the local softball, horseshoes, shuffle-bowling, dart, corn hole, and pool leagues, to include its own softball field. Inside bar, and outdoor bar in season. Enjoy very reasonable beers, mixed drinks, and the locals. Have to go somewhere else for food! Enjoy!“
“We were a party of four adults. We had a wonderful evening talking with our friends while enjoying a delicious meal. The waitress was very attentive and professional. The dinning room was cozy and comfortable. Thank you for a memorable dinning experience.“
