“We were here for lunch and our waitress Bree (sp?) was amazing. She was our waitress, the hostess, bartender! She was the only one working the front of the room. The restaurant was getting pretty busy and she worked the room with a smile on her face and kind words. She was terrific!!!“
“Let’s get one this straight! This is the SPOT! The experience began with me running behind for my reservation because I-95 traffic is a..well we all know..so in calling the restaurant to alert them my first taste of Marta was Nick, who answered the phone in such a warm and friendly manner I felt welcomed even before my arrival! Now I will say parking is a challenge..but rise up to this challenge..be persistent..because once you’re safely parked you will reap amazing culinary rewards. The space itself..it beautifully done..muted colors and comfortable seating seem to say “ sit..get comfortable and get ready for a great time” Our server Michael was a JOY. Just as important as the food, is the service, Michael made sure that we were comfortable, answering all questions and providing excellent recommendations when they were asked for. No one could have asked for a better tour guide to lead our Marta experience..when making reservations..request him..I promise you won’t be disappointed. Appetizers! Tuna Cannoli..if you think you know tuna..I’m here to say NAW! This dish was whimsical and full of flavor. The tuna was fresh and prefect encased in a light cannoli shell..the sesame seeds tied the whole dish together for me perfectly. Beef tartare(my personal favorite) vibrant color and palate pleasing flavors! I like the addition of beets in place of the traditional capers. Even my one friend who hates beets agrees that it brought a great element to this dish. Oysters! Perfectly briny and chilled expertly the pink peppercorn granita was Everything! Entrees: I enjoyed the Agnolotti which was a fall themed plate of warm comfort food! The spiced squash and apple stuffed pasta was so flavorful..but just when you thought it couldn’t get better, BOOM! Brown butter sage sauce! Please do yourself a favor..make your reservation to enjoy this dish before it goes away..you won’t regret it. The risotto my friend enjoyed with the meatballs from the antipasti menu was creamy and honestly had me making my next reservation in my head so I could enjoy it all by myself! Saffron Brodo, Aged Parmesan, bring this dish home! He couldn’t stop raving about the meatballs and I know they must have been great because he didn’t share..lol My dear friend ordered the Panzotti featuring stuffed Duck and Foie Gras! All components of this dish worked together to create perfection! Wine list..well thought out and composed. When our initial choice was temporarily unavailable, cue Nick with a perfect recommendation for an alternative bottle! Desserts..we ordered them all..don’t judge..lol..we couldn’t decided..lol..and you only live once! In addition to ordering them all..you bet the 3 of us finished them all too! So no further details required..I just suggest you make sure to save room for at least one of these sweet temptations..really any one..you won’t regret it! “Very good high end American fair. We were in a large group and had a set menu. All item where prepared well and tasted great. The drink menu was vast and unique, I had a sparkling passion fruit lemonade which was new to me. I would like to return to try the full menu.“
“Our server Alyssa and the staff at Sunshine Grille were so kind and amazing to my family of 4 during our visit on 4/24/24. The restaurant was incredibly busy (because the food is so good) and my kids (4 year old daughter and 1 year old son) were antsy. Without getting into the details, let’s just say Alyssa came over and said some kind words and I was so touched by the staff’s kindness that they have gained us as customers for life.“
“I have lived in the area since 2008. I would drive by this place for years and say "I need to stop by there and try that place out!" Well, I finally did in 2023! Great hometown diner spot! It's got a home type of feel, and the restaurant looks like it probably did back in the 1970s! Prices are very reasonable. The food is good! I was surprised that the Burger here is HUGE and has that classic char grilled taste! The Chicken Monterrey is very good! They have a well priced Country Fried Steak. The Cream of Crab Soup here is EXCELLENT when they have it available. Good Sandwiches, and the waitresses refill my Iced Tea without having to ask! :) I come here like every other week now for lunch! Highly recommend!“

Idk bout the reviews but it's a mom pop and son biz, if you were running a restaurant and everyone's multitasking you'd want grace, so give them grace, bc if it was you you'd understand. The mom is the cook, cleaner and all Around great person, she don't say much, but I feel the love, and why yall need to talk to her anyway she working. Bc I saw a few reviews talking about her cut it out. The food is authentic, energy authentic, everything authentic. The portions are crazy for carry out and even larger for dine in. I LOVE IT. Welcome to the area. . My 3rd time and I haven't been disappointed. If you got an issue they are quick to remedy it. It's all made with love. So be gentle“
“We had the privilege of attending the 'I used to be Irish' Poe house fundraiser tonight at the Annabel Lee Tavern and we were thoroughly impressed and pleased with the entire experience. The drinks were excellent and plentiful, the food was delicious and I cannot even begin to wax poetic about the staff. We never had to wait longer than a few moments, we felt well taken care of and they really went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed the experience.“

“My gf took me out on Saturday evening and the food was really good. We had amazing service as well. We ordered the southwest chili tots and the cornbread as appetizers. Those chili tots! Off the chain. For our food: I had the weekly special blackened salmon with risotto & veggies. My gf had the prime rib dip sandwich. She said it was bomb! The meat was tender.we also got drinks and they will definitely have you lit. The scenery was even nice, chill vibes :)“

The ambience and atmosphere were delightful, providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. “My son found this place one day when we were looking for something different and decent to eat. Within the last two months, my son and I have eaten at Blessings Carryout more than a half a dozen times. I must say that I’m very picky about the food that I eat, but their food is delicious. It’s not far from John Hopkins hospital and right across the street from North East market place…They have a great lunch special menu. Today I got orange chicken with lo mein noodles, and shrimp egg foo yong with fried rice. My son and I shared both dishes and it was delicious as always. All for just $16.50.“

“Came in on a Friday night and the first floor bar was totally packed! Thankfully they have some tables upstairs that we sat at and ate a delicious meal. We had the smash burger, buffalo wings, and Italian steak sandwich. Our wings took a little long and at first they brought us out the wrong order, but our waitress could not have been sweeter and was extremely accommodating. Looking forward to coming back!“

I was one of the first to order and the last to get my food. Had to get my food to go. Not sure when I'll visit there again.“
“My daughter and I started with beer, cocktail and appetizer of bread & butter with cheese which was good, but two medium size slices of bread for $8 is way over priced. We had the house burgers with a salad and french fries, which were very good. We both decided to get milkshakes to go. I got a white chocolate and she got an Oreo shake. They were small, not thick and I have had much better milk shakes. Definitely not worth the $8 a piece. Service was so so, but I believe the waitress was covering the whole restaurant. Under the circumstances she did a good job.“
“My brother in law kept telling me how good the onion rings were but I hesitated to go, when I finally got around to going I am glad I did because I thoroughly enjoyed them. They were not thick like the traditional ones they were more like shoe string onion rings. I was also surprised to see a beyond burger on the menu which was pretty good, I should have asked for more sauce on the burger but nonetheless I would go back again.“

They had some St Pats food/drink specials over the weekend. Food and service was really good.Only downside was the generic, modern country music blaring throughout the restaurant. Might be ok if that’s your thing, but it wasn’t easy to have a conversation with someone across the table, much less hear anything from the TV’s in the bar.“

“A group of us came to the Admirals Cup on a Friday evening. The bar was beginning to fill up, as the band on the lower level was doing a little warm-up. It was loud so we moved up to the second floor to enjoy our drinks.The second floor was nice with plenty of seating and another full bar. There is also an upper level that had a DJ spinning house tunes. It's definitely a great space that has a little to offer for everyone in your group.Parking can be tricky in Fells Point, so come early and stay late.“
