Our favorites include Tlayudas with pork, Bistec con Salsa Pasilla, Pastor Tacos. You really can’t go wrong. The offer tasty aguas frescas, tasty libations, and that creamy flan I mentioned above. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Angel is a gentleman, and listens carefully in order to customize your experience. I really kind of hate to let everyone know about this hideaway in Wheaton, but I can’t stop bragging on them!”

It was a massive mistake - my wife and I thought we would 'give it a try' and I am kicking myself for all the times we drove into DC from Silver Spring looking for a fun place to eat! From the moment we met Aidan Rinehart the GM, until we received and paid the check, we were blown away by the vibey atmosphere, the speed of delivery and the great tasting and well presented food. Alyssa, our server, deserves a special mention for her knowledge of the products, her attentive but unobtrusive service and exceptional friendliness. She is an absolute asset to Zinnia and we hope that she'll be there for as long as we patronise ZInnia, and it is well worth patronising. We look forward to trying the dinner menu, but we will definitely be back for a repeat 'Tavern' experience as well Compliments to the owner, GM, chef and staff - see you all again soon!”

Nice amount of seating and this place is truly 24 hours . Service was professional and they were quick on our orders ( 7 of us ) . Atmosphere was chill too . Still a fast food establishment so don’t expect perfection but it was still a nice experience. Hence the 4/5 for me . Definitely would go again with friends.

I wanted to add that I have tried Jollof from Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Liberia, Congo and Gambia, so I know my Jollof. I have always thought the best Jollof I have had was made by my best friends wife. He is Gambian and so is she and the other was while I was in my husband's country of Togo there is a Senegalese restaurant in Downtown Lomé that I have to go to every time we go to Africa. That is AMAZING. This restaurant has the same flavor, the broken Jasmine rice, the nice texture and the additional of vegetables. Typically Gambians and Sengalese do not add veggies because the flavor and quality they make can stand alone. PLEASE GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!! IT WAS SO REFRESHING TO TASTE GOOD AFRICAN FOOD OUTSIDE OF GOING TO A FRIEND OR FAMILIES HOME OR IN AFRICA!! KOITE GRILL my taste buds are so happy and satisfied.”

“I am part Polish. My great grandmother came from there to Ellis Island in 1906. She raised my Mother who is now in an assisted living environment less than 1 mile away from this place. I am always looking for little things to help brighten her day when I visit several times a week. Polka Deli in has proven to be an ideal solution and helping me meet that goal. My earliest memories are eating freshly made pierogies and kielbasa in my great grandmothers kitchen with my mom and others. Enjoying the amazing food and snacks I’ve picked up here helps both of us during these very difficult times as she is confined to a bed over 90% of the time. She only eats a few bites so my diet is not improving but getting the smile from her and as we drift in and out of memories together is priceless.”

From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with amazing service, accommodated for our large party and assisting my father with handicapped access. They served us delicious homemade chips and the food was mouth watering. We ordered two larger platters and every bite was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Very fresh food and my dad was very impressed with his experience. We topped off our meal with yummy desserts! We will be back soon, I highly recommend eating here.”

I watched the waitress/server clean other people’s table and completely ignore us. A customer who was a regular had to wipe down my table for us (I should’ve walked out then )but we drove an hour to come here And we were trying to just deal with the poor customer service so we can eat. Customers that were seated after us were able to order before us and receive their food. when we finally had the opportunity to order food we were told that they were out of oxtails pork and fish which made no sense because people were still ordering takeout for the same items we were trying to order.. You would think we were sitting there for free meals. The waitress told me she was going to the back to check to see what they have but when she came back she went to the bar area and started taking someone else’s orders and completely ignored us .We ended up walking out with no apology given. She Just looked at us as if she was happy to see us go because she couldn’t handle a table size of 10 people. All we were trying to do was support our Haitians. Its a shame we were treated so poorly. I suggested this restaurant to my family who drove an hour to be treated so poorly .Do not visit this restaurant”
