“I can say it’s the best bahn mi I’ve had in maine so far. Good portion size and a familiar, delicious taste. It’s definitely pricier than what i’m used to at $13.50 for Pork. But in the Portland area, it just might be the best you can get. So in that case, It’s worth the price!

My only suggestion is that maybe they add the options for a small side? Perhaps little soups of some sort? That would be perfect.

“I had lunch here yesterday for the first time, looking for a chirashi bowl. They didn’t have that as an option on the sushi menu, but my waiter was very accommodating! I can’t eat tuna, and they were able to substitute the tuna sashimi with more of my two favorites: mackerel and salmon. The mackerel was lightly torched and SO GOOD! They made up a nice sashimi arrangement with some sushi rice. Miso soup and a starter salad with the classic ginger dressing came first, which was a nice surprise.”

“The food is amazing. This is my husband and I’s new favorite restaurant. Food always tastes fresh and the flavor is incredible. Highly recommend the veggie samosa, lentil soup, and chicken schawarma plate. The service is fast and the owner is very friendly.”

“The owner here is a delightful person who received professional above-and-beyond training and is very passionate about the art of roasting coffee beans.

Their baked goods are also made in-house! Which I was delighted to discover.

Their cafe offerings are more focused on quality-centric drinks, less on variety or ‘fun’ drink concoctions — which I prefer, personally. When there are flavor shots, they use Monin syrups, a step above Torani. It would be nice if someday they made their own syrups in-house!

I’m slowly trying all their coffee blends, which are also available in bulk at the storefront (you can also buy the bags at the IGA in Wells).

Supporting a women-owned business is reason enough to earn my loyalty, but the love of the craft shines through in their products as well. I would definitely support this local business.”

“Amazing that I haven't posted on Google yet. The Lucky Pigeon is one of my favorite places to spend time on this earth. Not an exaggeration in the least. We don't live close and I always lament that I cannot get there more often. But, it is always wonderful when we do. The owners might be the nicest people on this planet. The beer is phenomenal. The brewer Scott is a genius. I have celiac disease and went a decade without drinking draft beer. I was incredibly emotional the first time I was there. To be able to have anything on the tap list and order a flight was something I never thought I'd ever be able to do again. I still get this anxious and excited feeling every time we enter the tasting room! The best thing: The beer tastes just like really good traditionally brewed beer. I'm told by others who don't have gluten issues that they feel better after drinking it. What a remarkable product! I look forward to my next visit the minute I get home from my last! Check this place out, all! Cans are available in Massachusetts and Vermont, also!”

“It was newly renovated, and it looks great brand new people brand new atmosphere. I go there for breakfast almost every day and it is very affordable with great portions. And everyone there is very nice I love having breakfast here.

“I am sooooo thankful I found this place and tried it out. Being a vegan is sooo difficult but these guys make it easy and make it taste great. I love the friendly staff and the atmosphere and the food of course. My new favorite pie is small with vegan cheese, sauce under the cheese and on top, red and Vidalia onions, roasted garlic and Greek olive with the herbs on top. “So back in November, we went to Longhorn to have lunch after we’ve been doing some holiday shopping. Our experience was less than stellar. I reached out through their website to Longhorn and let them know what had gone wrong. The rice was bad the steaks weren’t right, The waitress was nice but she never came back to see if we wanted refills on our drinks. She didn’t bring my husband a spoon for his coffee so he could stir the cream in the sugar. It took a long time for her to bring us the bill and for us to get the check back after we paid the bills so we could leave. It was just a frustrating and bad experience. it was just a bad experience
, and it was the first one we really had.

They sent me a gift card, asking me to come back and telling me that if I had a problem in the future, please ask for a manager. Part of the problem with the first one also was sadly the waitress was not good. She didn’t pay attention to us. It took a long time to get things done.

Our second trip was a couple of weeks ago. The waitress was very good. The food was good. I ordered the baked potato without any onion as I’m allergic to. The food came out in a timely fashion the waitress refreshed our drinks as we asked it was a much better experience. I will say the sides when they came out my potato, especially it was good, but it really wasn’t hot and that was pretty much the big thing that missed the mark can’t give you five stars because of the first experience but I will say after them trying to correct the issue we will probably go back again. I didn’t ask for a manager this time Because I just wanted to have the deal done and we were on a time crunch, so yeah, they kind of redeem themselves on the second trip. If we go again in the near future will read again and see if it’s better.

I do appreciate the fact that they tried to take care of the situation as best as they could from the first experience so we will probably go again, but as a few people have previously noted in their reviews for the amount of money that the food costs, I expect it to be a good experience so we’ll see what the next one is, but they did redeem themselves after the first trip.”

“Love this location. There are so many options that it is hard to decide on what to order. The staff was very pleasant and the food was awesome. When I am in Biddeford, always specifically to shop at Market Basket; we always order food at Market's Kitchen. And the prices are as good as the store itself. You cannot get a Cheeseburger, French Fries and a 20 oz. Soda anywhere cheaper than here. And it's good. And if you want a comfort food dinner, this is the place to go. Turkey Dinner with all the fixings for less than you would pay for a value meal at a fast food chain. I absolutely love this place.”

“Really don’t understand the negative reviews! We got the 2 fall specialty pizzas (one on regular crust and the other on cauliflower crust). Both were creative and amazing. Would definitely go back!”

“The portion for lunch was very generous especially the rice. I had sweet and sour chicken fingers and egg roll with rice. The rice was good definitely not enough pork and egg but good. The chicken fingers we're very good and egg roll was very good too. $9 was a GREAT price. The customer service was perfect she filled my water 3 times and was very kind. Oh I had beef chow mein and that was great. Also had one of my girlfriends fried shrimp and that was delicious. I would recommend Happy Gragon for sure.”

“I never leave less than 5 stars but I think it’s good for people to know this is not a great spot for food. Cafe and atmosphere is stunning and a great place to enjoy an espresso. We spent $40 on two lattes and two breakfast sandwiches which I think is normal price for a cafe however, the breakfast sandwich was disappointing. Bagel wasn’t cooked and egg was microwaved. Still a lovely spot but wouldn’t recommend spending the money on food.”

“The food at D'angelo's is great for the most part. The Thanksgiving sandwich is not great at all. Sandwich meat, they're very little of anything else. The bathroom was clean and there is plenty of parking. It is handicapped accessible.”

“George's is the best. A true, classic, Maine-style Italian sandwich with the best, freshest ingredients. I appreciate the way they build the sandwich. They take the time and care to layer the ingredients vertically with sliced (not chopped) tomatoes and peppers so you can take a bite without the whole thing falling apart. Rolls are perfect: Maine-style, soft, chewy and flavorful, not that crunchy New York style with no flavor. I like Genoa salami with their good black olives.”

“This is a very big and specious restaurant with a gaming area, we came here dinner. I got the fish and chips, the Haddock was absolutely delicious. My friend got the steak and cheese which looked amazing and was yummy too. I had a Margarita and it was made just right, not watered down. We did not check out the pool tables but looked like it would have been a wonderful fun experience. Maybe next time. They have parking in the back of the restaurant, the street parking spots are always full. There’s a public parking garage about 3 minutes walk across the street. Overall, good restaurant, highly recommend.”
