“When I first walked by I didn’t think it was open. Kind of low key place. After I was well up the street I notice customers coming out. So I missed that opportunity, but I will check them out when I return to the area. The food does sound and look good.“

“This is a tidy, no nonsense/no pretense eatery that provides excellent Salvadoran, Mexican, and Puerto Rican dishes. This is not some Gringo interpretation of these cuisines, nor is it an attempt to adapt them to local tastes. This is the real deal, authentic food prepared well by people who grew up with it.I’ve eaten there twice, and am heading back there tonight to try something else.My first time there I had the Montañero, a massive plate of meat, rice, beans, patacones (green plantain sliced sideways, fried, flattened, and fried again), salad and probably more that I am forgetting. It was a daunting task, but I did finish it.The second time I had mofongo, Puerto Rico’s entry into the pantheon of “heart attack on a plate” cuisine. It’s basically smashed green plantains mixed with bits of chicharrone (fried pork belly) and meat of your choice and much more. I had been craving it for years and was too intimidated to try fixing myself. I thoroughly enjoy it, and will order it again, as soon as I’ve run through the many other things on the menu that I just have to try first. The atmosphere is fairly plain and stark, but very clean and tidy. Anyone who has eaten it NYC inexpensive Hispanic restaurants will be right at home.I really hope that you will give this place a try, and I don’t think you will regret it.“

“Coming from SoCal, I was plesantly surprised to find quality authetic Mexican food in Maine. Service was fast and curteous. Attention to detail was impressive. Granted, it was a slow lunch hour, but as a customer it's nice to feel appreciated. I look forward to returning for a dinner experience.“

“9/30/23 - Visiting from VA, we walked around and found this place. The dollar bills reminded me of Key west vibes. The bartender was super nice and great service. My fiancé got a margarita drink that was delicious. I tried the lobster roll and it was pretty good. Good amount of lobster and loved the bread that came with it. If I come back to visit I would definitely loved to stop by this place again and try some other food plus drinks.“

“Stopped by here for a brief lunch on a brisk but sunny spring afternoon. They had great seating on the sidewalk and the server was a delight. Best guacamole I've had in the area. It seems like this is a great place also for drinks and dinner based on the atmosphere inside.“

“A group of 8 of us went. The service could have been better. They brought 4 little salsa's with 2 little things of chips. We had to ask for refills, chips to go with the table guacamole. The wait time seemed for long in between being checked on. Our meals were decent. Mexican ambiance is great.“

“Delicious! Really delicious food outside of San Diego. Freshly made and they do not skimp out of filling/ or meats either. I got a carna asada to share while hubby got a carna asada burrito. All entree comes with salsa and chips . Food made from natural ingredients and none are salty as most take out place tends to be. Yes a little pricey but if you want fresh ingredients , quality ingredients ( tender and meaty carna asada) and mall rent , the price is just.“

“I was not looking for tacos today, but tacos were looking for me! ? I did a very generic Google search for food near me, and tacos sounded like a good option. This place did not disappoint! I tried three of their regular street tacos with different fillings; carne asada, carne enchilada, and carnitas.Of the 3, I felt the enchilada had the best spice and flavor, the carnitas was tender, and the asada was just ok as far as flavor goes. This came with 2 salsas, green and red. The red was somewhere between medium and hot on the supermarket scale. The green definitely mild. Both were quite good.I would add that they are heavy with cilantro, which I'm fine with, but not all are. They also top the tacos with chopped radish, which was interesting.... Wasn't as "radishy" tasting as I expected. Maybe those would have been better pickled?Sour cream is an option, not included.Would definitely go back for more. I want to try their guacamole, tamales, and the pastore filling in something ?“

“I absolutely love this restaurant. Their food is delicious, decently priced, and reliably consistent. Very friendly staff. I was sad to see that the dining room was closed, but ordered many of my go-to meals to go. Visit this place for the real deal Food.“
“Had an absolute blast at trivia on Tuesday! Bar feels like a cozy basement, equipped with Golden Tee and nice TVs. Staff was super friendly, attentive and had really great draught beer and cocktails served up. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE RANGOONS. Thank me later.“

“First time dining tonight, and it was phenomenal. Plenty of chips on the table, server was excellent and fast, food came out in minutes from ordering! The atmosphere was clean and the staff was so kind. The chimichangas we ordered were perfectly crispy and they accommodated change of sides! They even make guacamole in front of you. I am so impressed and will be back.“

“We stopped in here to grab tacos and margaritas before the beer festival and the tacos were amazing! Absolutely delicious and filling. We both had beef tacos ? but our friends tried the shrimp and chicken and all of them were raving about how good they were. We also got margaritas ? they were great too. Good spot to order at the counter and sit outside for a bite.“

“I've grown up in California and lived in Texas so Mexican food on the East coast has been disappointing at best. This place is good. Best I've had east of Texas.
