Wonderful sandwiches that my 77 year old husband misses a LOT living in the Midwest. Atmosphere can't get a 5 star rating because you can't eat them there. It's how they've mostly done it AND I'm guessing it's so staff and give 100% focus on making the best Italian sandwich possible. Did you know, they will SHIP them to any place in the country if you can afford it? Hope to go there again multiple times when visiting in the area!!?
I love the food here & the people are so friendly & polite. I am always getting a sandwich from Amato's. They make the best Italians in Maine. All their food is delicious! ?

I'm updating this as I've been to Amatos manyl times since I posted the first review. I've upped the stars to 3 from 4 because I've had several things that I hadn't had there before and they were all very enjoyable. One thing I definitely appreciate is that with very little exception, the food is consistant from one Amatos to the next.
