“We have been occasional diners since Leluco opened, and it’s always been a lovely treat. This year we also decided to trust them with our Thanksgiving meal, and they did not disappoint! Our 1.5 turkeys were amazingly prepared, lovingly packed, and easy to reheat. Our friends and I are not sure if we’ve ever had a more delicious bird. Thank you, thank you for being a part of our Thanksgiving celebration. We are so glad you’re in our community ❤️”

“This is a very popular family friendly restaurant. My husband and I both had great salads and the best steaks we have had in a long time. The salads were super fresh, the steaks cooked perfectly and the side veggies were delicious. The Strawberry Shortcake dessert was super good. Our server was wonderful. She was personable and professional. We never had to ask for refills on beverages, she was always on top of it. We had a really enjoyable dining experience.”

“Place was bussin! Tons of people. Very popular. But I got parking just fine, my food came out quick and tasted amazing. The customizations we made were done well and accepted. Refills came by fast and the waitress was delightful! Absolutely a splendid time. Will go again.”

“Best part: If you squeeze in between the desk and chair, you can sit on the floor right next to the (floor to ceiling) window, and it's like sitting on the edge of a cliff looking out over the Turnpike. The noise level is well-controlled, and it's quite peaceful looking at cars and trucks roll by from six stories high. Needs to be high room on the back of the West tower for this effect. Quietest a/c / air system in any hotel I've stayed in, and the controls were pretty legible. Bed was comfy and slept well. Some mystery spots on the coverlet. If you're a DIY type, take along a scraper and some paint and you can fix the peeling paint in the bathroom. Stay away from the breakfast, if you're not used to a mass-market diet, either way you'll do just as well at McDonald's. 'Fridge is useful if you want to lightly freeze things. If you want the good ol' days of a freshly-made bed every day, get on it immediately. We waited til day 3, and despite obediently ordering 24 hrs in advance, chaos still ruled when we returned at 6 pm. The same fellow running check-in eventually arrived with a few towels; we decided he was probably running the whole place on his own that night.”

The food was so delicious that I actually found myself wishing I could get the recipes to make the dishes at home later. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and it was one of the most unique and flavorful sandwiches I’ve ever had. Every bite was incredible. My friend ordered the steak and cheese, and it must have been amazing because she ate every last bite of it without hesitation! The staff deserves special recognition as well. They were excellent, kind, and especially patient with my service dog in training, who is only five months old. Their understanding and welcoming attitude made the whole experience even better. Overall, this was a wonderful first visit, and I will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!”

“10/10!!! My husband & I had to take the 1.5 hour drive to Portland for an appoinment. We came across this wonderful place while searching for a delicious lunch. Wonderful, superb authentic food! we tried the house made jalepeno poppers (ginormous & fresh) to start. Husband had the pork chimichanga (pork cooked to perfection) & I had to try the fried green tomato tacos. Blown away by all the flavors! Abby was our awesome server who served up a wonderfully funny sense of humor! Be careful though, she BITES!!! 😂”

“First off, we didn’t eat anything so can’t speak to the food taste. That said, it smells amazing. Pastries, breakfast Sammie’s, and toast.

The atmosphere is playful and an assortment of old furniture still comfortable that fits in the space in a welcoming way, as if inviting you to sit down, stay, and add to their already long history.

The coffee is excellent. Full barista menu and seasonal drinks. Even an espresso tonic. Full chai and tea menu as well.

The baristas are lively with smiles in their words and eager to help and make your day brighter.

There are games and puzzles and a little person table.

Everything is compostable and a drive for sustainability.

“I had a Thanksgiving sandwich there the other day. Whole grain bread was good, the turkey was good, but the "stuffing" was cold. The sandwich was just NOT hot enough. The cranberry mayo is fair. It should have a scoop of warm actual cranberry sauce, not mayo. The stuffing detracted from the idea and taste of the sandwich. Incidentally, the prep and service were quick (too quick). Hey, maybe a pickle slice or two would be nice.”

I ordered a Pineapple, Bacon & Hot Honey small pizza. It was one of the BEST pizza's I've ever eaten! “We ordered catering from Taco Trio for our wedding reception and could not have been more happy with the food! We ordered food for around 75 people, and the portions we got were bigger than we expected, so running out of food was no longer a concern! The tacos were filled, the guacamole was fresh, and the food overall was delicious! The staff was wonderful throughout the process from ordering the food to helping bring it out the car at pick-up. We do not live locally, but will 100% eat here again when we're in the Portland area.”

“I went to this store for the first time of tuesday afternoon this week. I'm not from the area and had gotten lost. My phone was not charged so I didn't have a GPS to help me find my way to where I was going. I'm a single mom and I was getting worried. A gentleman there by the name of James saw how worried I was and asked what was wrong. I explained my situation. Even though he was busy he took the time and actually wrote down every turn or exit I needed to take, he literally wrote step by step what I had to do to get me and my young children home safely. I can't even begin to express how much this meant to me, because of his kindness we made it home safe. It's workers like James that make businesses great. This store is lucky to have someone who not only does his job but goes beyond that and helps others without regard of being recognized.”

“This is a food court Johnny Rockets in South Portland. The shakes here are high quality and the food is a really well done, on top of the staff is very nice. Again it was a very good burger. This is more like an 80s burger joint family style. the food was excellent. However....I shake, 1 fry, 1 burger, 1 soda. $31.00 before tip.”

“I would just like to tell a very short story about how my friend Rex who is 65 years old he is a homeless man out of the Portland area. I took him in to Denny's in Portland to get breakfast on a cold Winter's day in January 2022. We ordered our food with our server who was very rude and after eating our cold yucky breakfast my friend Rex was refused a bathroom to use and then the manager came out and told us for NO REASON, to leave and never come back! It was the worst experience because all my friend Rex needed was a hot breakfast he doesn't bother anyone and never sticks up for himself or creates a fuss! So in looking for another breakfast place to eat we found IHOP in Portland and from the start of walking into that restaurant was so nice and clean the hostess was amazing and sat us immediately with a smile our server Bethany she was amazing so nice and kind she took our order and treated us like human beings she was not judgmental and she took our order the same way she takes everyone's orders with a smile and gracious heart! My friend Rex absolutely loves his fried eggs and his bacon so we now visit the Portland IHOP twice a week. I had told the servers about what had happened to us with our experience at Denny's and the server from IHOP told Rex and myself that we were allowed at IHOP anytime and that they would love to have us!! I can't even tell you how much this warms my heart knowing that I can take my friend who has fallen on some hard times into a restaurant to eat a very nice warm meal and have the best servers in the best wait staff around us! You are amazing IHOP and we love you so much! We will be there every Tuesday and Friday for bacon and eggs comforted by the graciousness and smiles of everyone in the restaurant at IHOP! Keep on being the most amazing restaurant in the world because from my point of view you absolutely are! We love you IHOP thank you so much for your hospitality!”

“We have been driving by for months, and finally decided to swing-in to pick up a little dinner. Small side of orange chicken, large chicken fried rice and two spring rolls did the trick. Nicely priced about 28 bucks.
Orange chicken was really sweet and tart I enjoyed it very much My husband was on the fence about it. Chicken fried rice was delicious, full of big pieces of chicken and fried egg. Hubby really liked it I could have done without as much chicken. The Spring roll had a really soft inside texture. I very much enjoyed it. My husband didn't care for it. We will be back to try out other dishes.

“I've been wanting to try an Amato's Original Italian sandwich for a long time and finally had a chance. The staff at this location (1108 Broadway) was very friendly, and the service was quick and efficient. The sandwich itself was tremendous. All the fresh veggies and toppings are delicious and the bread is perfect. I would like to try the other menu items but I will probably continue to order Original Italians every time I return.”

“My husband and I came to Applebee’s recently, and we had such a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, everything was great, but what really made our visit special was our server, Cadea (the blonde-haired girl). She was absolutely amazing!

Cadea was incredibly kind, friendly, patient, and attentive throughout our entire meal. She made us feel very welcomed and comfortable, and she was always so sweet whenever she came to check on us. She never made us feel rushed, even when we took our time deciding what we wanted. Her patience and positive attitude really stood out to us.

You can tell that Cadea genuinely cares about providing good service. She was very professional while still being warm and personable, which made our dinner with my husband even more enjoyable. She made sure we had everything we needed and that everything was going well throughout our visit.

The food was also really good and fresh, and we were both very happy with our meals. The whole experience—from the food to the atmosphere to the service—was excellent.

We especially want to recognize Cadea because great customer service like hers deserves to be appreciated. Having someone who is so patient, kind, and welcoming makes such a big difference when you’re dining out. We will definitely remember her and would be happy to come back again!
